I am only 11 years old & there is a freaking pandemic going on. I've got so many presentations to do for my class & I really feared that everybody would see me helping myself with the presenter view notes. Thx a lot, really appreciate this video!
Hi Kevin, I am a teacher and I just wanted to let you know that our entire district is RAVING about your videos! In all honesty you are the reason that many of us are able to use Teams and help our students use it. Thank you SO SO MUCH for these videos! You are a huge piece in making distance learning possible in our district! Almost anytime someone has a question about Teams, someone else sends them a link to one of your videos, You're the best!
Love it! As an educator, teaching while learning how to navigate Teams presents its own unique challenges. This video helps. It would be great to know how to toggle back and forth from PP to another application without leaving presentation mode. Thanks again
Thank you so very much for assisting us to all better navigate Microsoft TEAMS. In this virtual day, utilizing platforms such as this are vital to the successful collaboration of healthcare institutions such as ours. Thank you.
Thanks. I didn't know short cuts could be so useful in professional presentation. You are a lifesaver man. Tomorrow, I need to make a presentation to my whole department!
This is really helpful!! Its my fear to present a wrong window instead of what I wanted to let the audience see. You save me from my anxiety! So, I only need to remember to choose the POWERPOINT PRESENTATION instead of the DESKTOP.
Thank you a lot. I have just started online learning in my country and you are helping me a lot in doing my job as a math teacher.. I am learning a lot with you..
Kevin, Kevin: I want more of Presenter View. This is great! All (or most of) my presentations could be brilliant by (secretly) using Presenter View. The future is wide open. Thank you.
Again a super tutorial thanks Kevin! Another way to present the PPT in presenter view is I start first the PPT in presenter view (Alt F5)) and then in Teams I share the "slide view (slide 1)". Hard to explain without pictures but if this tip can help one of you you're welcome :) PS: Welcome to Emily into your Company ;)
I’ll let Emily know :) nice tip! It’s a little cleaner and this way your audience never sees the PowerPoint chrome, especially if others have already joined your meeting.
Hi Kevin ....I really enjoy all your videos that I have seen....you explain everything so clearly and easy to follow.Well done ,you are excellent.Thank you for sharing with us all.Have a good day.
I just had an interview where I had to give a presentation. This would have been so useful to know to ease my anxiety about possibly forgetting key point.
Extremely helpful tutorial! We use MS Teams and have had difficulty in being able to go into PowerPoint presenter view when sharing a presentation. Teams gives way too many choices as to what to present and if you don't choose the right one you won't have access to presenter view. Additionally when your work schedule does not give you adequate time to do your job it creates an even bigger struggle.
Great tips for the presenter. Excited to use it next presentation. Will be happy to learn different ways of playing videos in powerpoint in different shapes and in combination to slide content.
Kevin just wanted to let you know that in Teams , whenever you are in a meeting and minimise your screen , even though you're not a presenter , you can share your screen . I guess that's a glitch And btw great content ☺️
I have my first online presentation next and it is a big one. Thanks a bunch for this video Kevin. Super useful to solve the problem to my biggest question, how do I keep to presenter view while sharing my screen! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Thanks Kevin. Great video. I am going nuts on how to merge a portrait slide with a landscape slide in the same presentation in power point. Is there a way?
Too late, just yesterday I saw your previous instructions for a presentation what I had some minutes ago, I would have liked to present with this option 😅 Anyway thank you for your videos.
Hey Kevin! Thank you for leaving politics and other things of the sort out of your videos! It is a great way to take a break from everything we get bombarded with! Keep up the great videos!
Thanks, there are a lot of things i did not know about teams. But i a have different scenario, you know sometimes you have to switch between ppt and excel for examples. Is there a way to do it in presenter view or move smoothly between the two docs ?
I agree! I have two monitors, but I see the slide show on one, and the presenter view on the other! I'm sure it's an easy fix, but I'm afraid to mess with anything...
Click Slide Show, setup slide show, and present in window. Your presentation will now show in its own window, which you can move to your other monitor screen.

This was already a life saver. It is NOT obvious that when PPT is in Presenter View Teams sharing works differently!
All your videos help us. I am killing it at work presenting to customers during the pandemic using Microsoft Teams. This channel is my lifeline.

Awesome Kevin, great info
Thanks, there are a lot of things i did not know about teams. But i a have different scenario, you know sometimes you have to switch between ppt and excel for examples. Is there a way to do it in presenter view or move smoothly between the two docs ?
I would like to learn how to use two screens so I can see the participants/ meeting attendees AND my presentation at the same time.
I agree! I have two monitors, but I see the slide show on one, and the presenter view on the other! I'm sure it's an easy fix, but I'm afraid to mess with anything...
I am looking forward to the answer on your question as well!
Use your phone as a second monitor!
Click Slide Show, setup slide show, and present in window. Your presentation will now show in its own window, which you can move to your other monitor screen.
