    Do you have questions with using Microsoft Teams in meetings? I might be able to help - I've been a daily user since 2016.

      @@mattmarkus4868 I that case, your best bet is probably to not fully join the call using the pre-join screen. Adjust your camera and audio via device settings prior to clicking "join." The call organizer won't be notified until you do properly join the call, so you won't appear too early to them.

      Hi, .... in the MS Teams app (mobile/smartphone) is it possible to disable/hide participant list and own toggle buttons to maximise screen usage ? i.e. to only see the presenter's screen without distractions?

      Thank you! I felt like there was some waffle and repetitive parts I would have cut if it was 100% planned out like a Mechanics production, but I'm not aiming for that level yet. I'm giving myself about 4 hours max per video production solo and seeing what's possible. 🙂

    How can i share screen and see people who are in the meeting. I use teams for classes and all the teachers ask the same tip.😊

    • @DeployJeremy
      @DeployJeremy  День назад

      If you don't have multiple monitors, then you might want to look into sharing individual windows. Then you can have a portion of your screen with the participant view. Even if your participant view partially covers the window you share, people only see the window, not anything in front of it

      Thanks Madhan. Answered you in the other thread. I would say Logitech BRIO 500 as a Teams Certified webcam. It's great all around, nice software, still in support for firmware updates and you don't need 4k or 60fps support for Teams calls

    This is a great demo overall! How do you get Large Gallery view? I see even in this videoo that it's not an option. I don't work in an organization that has teams so I'm always joining as a guest. I find it frustrating that I can't see all the people in a meeting. Is there a way to make it possible to see all the members at the same time?

    • @DeployJeremy
      @DeployJeremy  Год назад

      I believe you need 10 or more participants with their camera turned on to see up to 49 people at once. Since I only had 3, it didn't light up. This might have changed though.

      If your Teams administrator has enabled manual meeting recording, then you can go to the "... More" menu, then "Record and transcribe," then "Start recording." You'd go through the same sequence to stop recording.

      Digital whiteboard works and it's built-in, or in a Teams room you can use what's called a content camera, too, with a physical whiteboard. I think it's a little too advanced of a topic for a beginner tutorial, but will add that to a future video.

      You may be using the personal version of the Teams app. This video was about the Work and school version. It's a bit confusing in that sense, since there are two different Teams apps.

      @@Bynggo there is a personal version that is installed by default in Windows 11. The Work and school version would have needed to be downloaded and installed before your meeting from Teams.microsoft.com. The "team" at TEAMS needs to fix their email invites. They don't specify what timezone the meeting invite is for. MAJOR problem. So the app tries to guess what timezone each person is on, and it taylors it to that person. So invites look different for different timezones. But it guesses WRONG, so you will get a time, but no timezone. This causes major confusion and people showing up and hour early or an hour late for a meeting. So all this talking about TEAMS is really worthless until we solve the problem of knowing what time a meeting actually starts! This video doesn't say "everything" you need to know. you didn't address the timezone issue.

      Hm, so when we send the invite we need the emphasize this to our team members somehow... Thanks for heads up!

Things like the initial meeting join picker, pop-out content, soft focus, etc. are updates from just the last few months. I am a first time user of teams. HELP It will be on Monday for a job interview. I will be using my Apple I phone 9 I think it is (has no home button😉).
    I believe I’m getting emailed the link. What’s the fool proof way to seamlessly join & check I’m ready to go & how to ensure my camera on and my volume all correct and make sure I can see them correctly on screen and vise versa.
    Am I better to load and get teams app prior … how do I ‘practice’ mock ups before I actually have my on line virtual interview. I’d hate to not turn off mute etc and that would be so embarrassing especially if interviewer already on call & joined.
    Apologies but technology not my ‘natural skill set’ lol 😂!! I’m of the generation of add an extra few more plus decades to my youth lol 😂 🤪. And my teenager tech Sav son is currently away 😮.
    So want to be prepared Hence I prep before hand and something new so I know my stuff & present professionally & relaxed (as not fumbling around trying to work out which buttons I need to do or have on when my things are actually live lol 😂 😂.
    Any common mistakes or what are fool steps process of what I need to do to ensure all runs smoothly. Appreciate yr fool proof written steps for best joining an e mail and specifically using my physical Apple I phone to join call/chat - see successfully 😊🤔🙏.🤫🤗
