- Celery & chicken stir fry is a simple & delicious dish that has both meat protein & vegetable fibre. This is one dish you can go with white rice. With light seasoning and short prepartion time, everyone can make this at home. You can use chicken thigh or breast, sliced pork or beef.
I added in fried garlic. You can also pre-roast in air fryer/oven. Roasted garlic gave this dish extra garlicky kick (only if you are GARLIC FANATIC).
Here's what you need:
Chicken thigh 1 piece
(no bones & skin)
Celery 2 stalks
Carrot 1 stalk
Cashew nuts. 10 or more nuts (up to your liking)
Garlic 20 cloves
Ginger. 10 cm
Seasoning Chicken thigh
Soy Sauce 1 tbsp
White Pepper 1 tbsp
Sesame Oil 1 tbsp
Cornstarch 1 tsp
Seasoning
Celery
Soy Sauce 1 tsp
Oyster Sauce 1 tsp
Sesame Oil 1 tsp
I made this 3 days ago and my 25 year old son and my husband said this is the best Oriental dish I have ever made and I think it is pretty awesome! All because I had a bunch of celery I did not want to have go to waste. I used about 1 pound of chicken breast, sliced thin, and 5 celery stalks and less garlic.
