Chicken Onion Stir-fry 🍗🧅- Just as delicious as beef onion stir-fry, quick and easy

👩‍🍳 Ingredients for 4 to 5 people
Marinade:
500g chicken meat (breasts or thighs)
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp ground pepper
1 tbsp light soy sauce
1 tbsp dark soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp vegetable oil
500g onions
¼ tsp salt
5 tbsp vegetable oil

for quicker "caramelized" onions i periodically add water and let the onions boil/braise in the water to soften and then when the water evaporates they go right back to sautéing but softer ,, it saves time 😊

I find the addition of water to onions when they are being caramelized changes the whole flavour, smell and texture. I will continue to do them the old slow but sure, dry way.
