    Definitely a dodgy walk out in the mud Gary.
    The tide certainly came in very fast and thank goodness you didn't get cut off.

    I live in the north east and have never seen any images that use the structure, but iv got a feeling im about to see alot more, if anyone is brave enough lol. I absolutely love all of them, great work Gary.

    Gary, I like the way you said “I’m excited by that “ when you pointed at the structure. It looks like an alien structure to me. I’d like to see it at night, with stars reflected in the water, yea 😂

    Well, that was quite an adventure, though I wasn't worried about you getting stuck in the mud or drowning - or you wouldn't have posted the video! I wasn't so keen on the structure at first but then loved it with the reflection that grounded it more. Always interesting to see your process and your creative foresight. Sweet success!

    I love that location and I’ve been there hundreds of times to shoot. I have never ever considered shooting that refuge. Great thinking out of the box. Great video and images. Nice one 👍👍

    Been there across that causeway as most other photographers have and just about made it back in a terrible storm, I thought it was very risky doing what you did there will bound to be others trying the same thing, but such is life, your finished picture looked great so I am pleased that you got what you wanted.     I tell my wife if I die during a photo shoot, mostly by doing something risky, make sure to check my memory card to see if it was worth it! Love your work. I’m working on long exposures now to get the basics time before I subscribe.

    They’re all amazing. It’s a little scary to see just how fast the tide came in. I’m glad it didn’t force you to retreat and you were able to get several images. Your fine art images are truly worthy to be displayed on any wall for many people to enjoy. Nice video. I think you may be a little bit of a risk taker, which adds more interest to the video.

    Hi Gary, Thx for for all your very inspring videos. I've got a question regarding the comagnon Element backpack 30L you are using in this Video. I'm currently looking for a backpack for water risky environment such as kayaking (mainly on lakes) and tide risky location when using waders to stay in the see as long as possible. So what's your experience when the bag goes in the water for a certain period of time. Unfortunately there are no information on their website for the finished bag specifciations in this regard. Thx in advance.

    I live not far from Holy Island and I am planning to go there again soon while the tide is in. I doubt whether I would risk doing what you did (she who must be obeyed would not allow it!!). Very good photos and I prefer the photo with just the structure.

    Haven’t watched one of your videos in awhile, sorry. I’m not a pro. Question any tips for the basic editor that does not subscribe to Lightroom. I currently use Darkroom App to edit & Google One to remove unwanted items. By the way great video especially of the tides. I’m from the Ontario Canada and I’ve never seen a tide come in or go out. Cheers.

    The reason you have not done this before, as in other years to busy photographing Puffins on the islands ;) LOL Pushing it a bit on this venture -- as you say that mud sand is very un predicatable --- tested it last year and decided against it. Good Photo by the way :) Have to pick you on £6.99 --- think you could get a crate of Bud for that at the moment.

    Never been to Lindisfarne - I was planning on going with my friend who sadly died of cancer before we made it.
