I hope everyone enjoyed this episode, it’s not always easy to create fun watchable content during ocean passages like this one. We’re onto our second charter of the season now will be releasing some epic Caribbean content soon ! ❤
I really liked this video! Just feeling a part of the crew is awesome 😊 I have a suggestion for a video if I may 😊 The perspective of the guests would be great. I know you don't film guests obviously, but you could let the crew explain what guests do beforehand, more info on the preference sheet, what crazy things have been asked, what are common things etc. What do guests need to do/not do regarding safety. When they are on land, is someone always accompanying them? On the boat, is someone always right by them? or how do they contact you if they want anything, of that makes sense. I can imagine it's quite a skill to tend to guests meeting all their wishes but not lurk or be an a nuisance. To me it's fascinating how people would want so many people around to tend to their every "need". Hope that makes sense in my non native English 😅 Have a good day!
Thanks for all your videos and making us part of your travels. We have a friend who's a yachtie, Chaun Macklovik from Midrand. It's great to see so many South Africans as part of the crew. I am hooked on watching the Loon charters and adventures. You're all doing a great job
Thanks for the videos guys, you’re killing it as the best super yacht channel both for content and educating people, your content is fantastic, and the crew…. I have no words 😂👏🏻👍🏻
What a great series. All of you are really personable. We had the opportunity to cruise on a 150 foot yacht for a week and had such fun. Watching you brings so many memories back. Great photography and wonderful crew shots. Keep it up.
Blair, some excellent videography (is that a word) of Loon cutting through a few white caps. M/Y Loon really is a beautiful yacht, graceful, reminds me of another of my favourite SuperYachts and also a beauty, M/Y Arience as you will know Jared Watney worked on. Love the technical/mechanical info. Great work guys.
Motor yacht loon is absolutely my favorite channel right now. A beautiful glimpse into a world that we've never had a chance to experience yet. Awesome channel.
Awesome videos you guys - from the maintenance, to Blair becoming the sacrificial lamb on the bow for pictures, to the attack of the BIRDS, to welcoming crew back on board in Antigua, what awesome times. You guys rock!
So true about cameras and waves. Many years ago before digital cameras I took my small Contessa 32 south across the Bay of Biscay. We hit some of the worst conditions I had ever encountered and took several rolls of film. Back home I told tales of mountainous seas and expert seamanship until the films came back from being processed. Keep up the good work.
New viewer, ex UK Merchant Navy Radio Officer, but never had a glimpse of the super cool super yacht world. Great content, especially the inner workings (and problems) of engineering and electronics etc.
I would just like to thank you guys so much for making these AWESOME video's !!!! I will never be able to afford to be on a ship like this - but you make it so real. Great work to all my fellow SAFFAS . Great crew.
The video is just great! Looking through your videos, it’s possible to briefly distract from the fact that there is a war in our country. Thank you for what you do! And yes, of course I’m glad to see Nina on board again.
Capt. Paul you are a very lucky man to have a job many of us only dream about, and to have such a great and experienced crew, stay safe and may the winds be behind you for that extra push. 😊
Not the most interesting video except for the camaraderie of the crew. Always smiling and having fun never missing a good joke. Absolutely lovely. Thanks!
Blaire absolutely awesome video. Loved that camera showing the bow going into the waves. Drones are great to show how big the waves are, but I guess you'd not want to use them as you may be short 1 or 2 after lol. Movember well done sailors. The girls should do something for Movember ?????? Holy crap those birds SHIT a lot. Hope they aren't a regular occurence. What fun it must have been to clean the boat after and the chase boat must have also been crapped on ? Welcome back Chef Nina Looking forward to Loon's next video keep them coming Blaire
No way, this crew is SO much better than 'Below Deck' - which is produced to be full of drama and shit. Rather watch a professional fun crew like Loon over that tripe any day!
I’m new to all things Loom but I’m loving it. I’m trying to catch up with all your videos so I guess this comment is 3 or 4 months too late. Can you explain what the two ropes off the stern are whilst you’re underway please.
Hey Rich, welcome to our channel. I think what you're referring to is the tow line for the chase boat being towed behind Loon. This is our large tender we use for transporting guests from Loon ashore and other activities when down here in the Caribbean. 🛥🥂
I think the chase boat was not in the shot so that’s what confused me. Also apologies for the typo, I wrote Loom not Loon oops. She is a beautiful vessel and the atmosphere between all the staff has the right amount of gravitas verses fun. I wish you safe travels and who knows maybe one day we could be one of your guests.
Always fun to watch you guys (and gals) running such a beautiful yacht whether in Europe or on this side of the Atlantic… so jealous, makes me miss my Navy days!!!
Great show! Bravo to all the November folks -- what a great thing, you should all be very proud. If you are taking requests, I'd love to learn more about the galley, meal planning, and cooking on a boat.
Thank you for putting these videos out for us to enjoy. I live vicariously through these videos dreaming I was on a M/Y like Loon. You guys are great. I have a question though out of curiosity have you as a Captain or the rest of the crew ever encountered a Rogue Wave? God bless and stay safe out there. Keep these lovely videos coming out.
Discovered this because of NautiStyles then Chef Nina got me hooked! :) Then the Captain, then Paige then the whole family/Crew!!!! Tyler got freightened is epic!!!! :D
We live on our 42 foot sailboat and travel up and down the leeward islands. Antigua is a fun island and in our top 5 of the 63 islands we have visited. We saw Loon in St Martin this year.
Fabulous episode guys, I really enjoyed watching the trip across to Antigua and you made it more exciting, informative and with some humour. 😂 My friend's are doing the Ark tomorrow to St.Lucia on 78 CNB sailing yacht, I am so excited for the guys. They racing against a few Oysters of the same length but heavier displacement. My other friends from Scotland are doing the Arc 3 as mentioned before that left over a 1wk ago from Las Palmas. I am sitting on my sofa in Scotland freezing btw 🥶 with the central heating on. Just finished watching your RUclips video. Good luck with the season.
That’s a crazy view! Definitely a bit rough there!! The bird shitting in his mouth 🤣🤣🤣🤮 poor guy! Doesn’t he know by now ya never look up when the sea chickens are flying above!! 🤣🤣🤣 Here’s to a great season 🥂
Quick question, the " chase boat " could this not be stored on foredeck ? I realise sizing, is probably a issue , but designed to fit ?? Great show btw , keep it up
Thanks for the question. Nope, the chase boat is almost 60' and just under 20 tonnes. so she's a little big to store onboard, and we don't have the lifting ability. She rides nicely behind us, and we avoid rough weather to protect her. We also have a monitoring system onboard called TowPro, which helps us keep an eye on voltages and bilge pumps. Condition of tow, turn the lights on and off and alerts us if the tow snaps.
One for Paul , thinking of of taking a winter hol in the Caribbean which island would you recommend to be the prettiest ? Sorry love to be with you guys On a charter but your price is a bit above my pay grade
@@motoryachtloon I suppose direct flights from france beautiful beaches history ,good hotels brilliant restaurants , I suppose all the things that make the perfect holiday
I have just stumbled into this channel and very glad to have done so. Great insight into Superyacht life and I am now convincing my soon to be of age son that he should consider this life as a career:) I'm sure it's hard work but looks a great way of making a living.
Nina is my favourite. Love her being back onboard. The dude running the cameras and multimedia side of things (tristan?, some sort of SAFFA name...blair?) is killing it. You go man. A question for the Aussie hunk captain, Why hasn't the bulb thing at the front of the boat been anti fouled yet?
Nina rocks! Its great to have her back. Blair is the videographer, and his footage is amazing. The foremast is telescopic and goes up at night to indicate to other vessels what our status is. It hols 2 different white lights. 1 all-round white light for when we are at anchor and 1 steaming light for when we are underway. During the day we put the mast back down
I hope everyone enjoyed this episode, it’s not always easy to create fun watchable content during ocean passages like this one. We’re onto our second charter of the season now will be releasing some epic Caribbean content soon ! ❤
Thanks for the bow shot! That looked so cool on the Insta360. I was kinda waiting for you to get catapulted 🤣.

Not going to lie I half expected you to lose a drone to one of the birds! Cool Insta 360 shot as well.

we are here because of Nina, but will stay because of the captain.... love you all, Loni & Al
Thanks guys! We love your support. 🛥️🥂
This isn't a crew, it's a family and that's awesome! Well done!!!
Most good crews are like families. It's part of the magic that makes them good crews.
Thanks Bubba, We very much are a family of Loonies. 😁

The caricature is wonderful! As for Movember you ALL are absolute STUDS !!! ( Yes girls you too! 😂 ) Always wishing Loon, fair winds and flat seas!
Your footage of the ship bobbing in the rough seas is first class! Wow! Amazing!!! Very exciting! More please!
She just eats up the waves 🛥️🥂

The vids keeps getting better, guys. Really enjoy it!
Motor yacht loon is absolutely my favorite channel right now. A beautiful glimpse into a world that we've never had a chance to experience yet. Awesome channel.
Loved these two episodes. These long, open-ocean trips are particularly interesting to me.
Fantastic video everyone, the docking sequence at Antigua and drone footage was amazing 👏 ❤
Have a fantastic season !

As a fellow drone cinematographer, the shots around 19:45 are absolutely SICK!
🙌😎
that footage of the docking was amazing! very well done!!
Glad to hear you survived the rough passage

Blair, the soundtrack bits on this video are bangers! Also, thanks for showing Birds Eye view of the night parking!
Capt. Paul you are a very lucky man to have a job many of us only dream about, and to have such a great and experienced crew, stay safe and may the winds be behind you for that extra push. 😊
Incredible video! The shots of Loon cutting thru the waves was magnificent!
Tech Talk, love it. Fun behind the scenes. Can’t get enough. Nice.

Can't imagine the amount of work and budget to only maintain suche a beauty up and running.
Great content and presentation. No one does it better. 😊

Been a subcriber for a long time. I love the looks of the Loon all light up at night. Especially the water line lights. So cool.❤
Thank you for watching and dropping us a comment. She really does look great at night when all lit up 😁
It's not a job, it's an adventure:-) I look forward to your videos, great crew on a great boat.
Thanks Mike! It definitely is an adventure 😎
All the guys look so handsome after the Movember shave! 😍
18:26 Lol about Tyler's reaction when Blair have him a fright lolol 🤣
Glad to see our Nina back on board. Hoping she can post one of her own vids at some point this season.
Shes already been running around with her gopro so expect something soon 😎
Great video, glad everyone is back. Can't wait for the new season!!!
Amazing footage of the sea conditions. Thank you.
There’s something about watching a bow of anything pushing through the sea that makes me happy

What a Great Crew and Photos
Love it , no bull like some shows. Great crew too.
Thank you! We try not to over dramatize like some other shows 😁
Loved the footage. Drone shots did show the motion of the ocean. Good job.
LOVE the drone shots!!! So happy to see Nina again too!
Brilliant video as usual, guys. Cannot wait to see what the next season brings. 🙂

All of the videos are great but they keep getting better, wonderful work! That bit off Anegada is always a doozy.
I enjoy watching the team dynamics.
Another Great video, Can't wait for the next one
Awesome you guys are finally in my neighbourhood, much love from Trinidad and Tobago.

I was wondering, what is the purpose of the forward mast?
Rough seas, howling wind, birds everywhere. Blair: Hmmmm let me go fly my drone. Epic.
Basically 😂
Good to see the Logo on the Stern now in proper LOON style.
Another smooth passage. Those birds were crazy though....
Hey question for yall do u have a sea keeper or similar?
Hey Nick, great question. We have Stabilizer fins. Seakeepers don’t work on vessels of our size.
Ohh ok thx
Great video work guys. Really fun to watch
Beautiful yacht and great video
Thank you 😊

The wave shots were amazing with the drone, or whatever you were using. Hope you get 100k, and way beyond.
