@@melbourneaavgeek9757 toga is much more quiter than flex takeoffs and flex is louder. During the reduction, the saw sound became most of the A350 takeoffs in youtube. (87-90%)
Idk man, normally when they set TO/GA, you would hear 3 different sounds, first the initial 50%, then Flex detent, then TO/GA at the very end. Same as when they set climb thrust. You should hear Flex first, then back to Climb. I only hear two changes during thrust set. The sound differences are usually very clear to identify. Even if you listen from outside the plane. Powerful sound doesn't mean TO/GA. It could be low Flex number like Flex 30. Which is very near TO/GA power. And another hint, you said in the other comment that it was a chilly morning right? That's literally the opposite of when you need higher thrust. Higher power are needed in hot climate/temperature because the air is thinner or wet runway, etcs.
No I did not ask but from my experience as well as comparing other A350 videos claiming to be TOGA takeoff i can confidently say it is not derated thrust.
I think you would be surprised how powerful the engines are. Without knowing weights hard to say if it’s toga. If I had to bet for a 9 hr flight on a 350-1000, it’s derated. All depends on factors. I read some pilot reports on a Cathy flight from Toronto to Hong Kong which is 16hrs using derated so who knows. Next time ask the pilot I think you will be surprised. Those rolls are remarkable engines and also very expensive hence derate when possible.
Excellent takeoff!! And yes, this is a TOGA takeoff. The sound is the same as this A350-1000 here taking off with TOGA thrust due to contaminated runway: ruclips.net/user/shortsr3_pDuhJJ7o
OMG that is definitely a full power TOGA takeoff! The sound is amazing! loved the video :D
bruh its not toga

Takeoff/Go around thrust verified.
the emgine sounds higher when on full power. Ive heard it, it rarely does so
Love the Trents and love virgin atlantic A350.
Jeez! The big Trents sound like heavy metal guitars!
Best Trent XWB I've heard
That thrust reduction though!

RR's new version of the PW4098!!!
Which Airport?
From New Delhi
I went on a flight years ago that sounded like this and never knew why.
Wdym?
Mmmmm I love the sound
Thank you 😊
The sound of these huge engines are absolutely amazing from engine start to full takeoff power!
Exactly 👍
Idt its that unbelivable.
10:22 what's the point of having a taller ATCT in that horrid air pollution?
Pretty sure that’s a flex take off 🤔
No this was not for sure and it was a chilly morning in January. Here’s one that I filmed in Singapore: ruclips.net/video/py9qZPDndHk/видео.html

A350-1000 Trent Rolls… Jet engine porn!! Haha

Thanks I am glad that you like the video. The sound is indeed excellent throughout and I keep listening to it over and over again.
Blame the flight attendant for killing the engine vibe
And of course the compulsory brat screaming (with parents doing absolutely nothing about it)! 🤬
Nothing incredible ..only the loud pilot noise..and this is very old plane
The a350 is an old plane? Ur dumb
My A350 takeoffs sound much better
I doubt it
