A340's are my favourite series. Maybe because they were my childhood at all? Anyway, I love this noise, long takeoff roll, but personally I prefer A340-600 more than 300.
@@flygwada971 Yes, they apparently are. It's probably about a 13 hour flight from Helsinki to Phuket. Don't know if it's direct or if there's 1 stop along the way, if there is, it'd probably be Dubai, or maybe Moscow
@@alvexok5523No, its little over 11h-12h, but now because finnair can’t fly over russia its about 13h. All finnair flights to phuket are seasonal holiday flights and yes its nonstop.

@@betelgeuse227 A340-300s are extremely underpowered. Any takeoffs with more than around 60-65% load will almost surely use TO/GA. + This is Phuket, which in tourism season (when European airlines fly there) is really hot, and the higher the air temperature is, more power will be needed since air particles are more spread apart, contributing to less lift. And you can't really assign a musical note to a power configuration since inside FLX and TO/GA the N1 percentage can change (lower FLX temperatures, higher percentage and vice versa)

These engines and their roar are just unforgettable... love the 340´s....
I am in love with the CFM56-5C engine sound

Wow impressive departure ! Love the engines noise !
Ah, that sound is as music to my ears!!

@@Alias389 yes, the engine speed
@@intelboydj1 impressive!
@@Alias389 Thanks for the accurate measurement. 4400 rpm, is equal to 73.33 Hz

Amazing video mate! Great wing view!

Outstanding video. Long rollout. Subscribed
Sounded like everyone had to secure their trays at the same time in the beginning 😄 awesome engine! 🤩
Ayy, Finnair A350-900 spotted!
Tibis I didn’t know they were flying to Phuket ...
The airline you fly on when you're on a diet, Finnair (Thin air) 😂

I wonder if the pilot used 100% thrust to take off safely....
great video and footage. The 343 is a beast - sometimes :-)
TO/GA thrust?
Ramdhany Nugraha yes. Actually most A340-300 takeoffs use TO/GA

Yeah I would've laughed my ass off too if I was onboard an A340-300

What a poor take-off performance an A340-300 has! It has a takeoff walk, not a takeoff run!
