    I love to Travel but the fear of Flying is terrifying me , Anyone words of reassurance , even though im flying with the worlds 2nd most safe airline .... Flying Dublin to Abu Dabhi and then to Singapore on the same day and my nerves are already at me

      apparently are. It's probably about a 13 hour flight from Helsinki to Phuket. Don't know if it's direct or if there's 1 stop along the way, if there is, it'd probably be Dubai, or maybe Moscow

      @@alvexok5523No, its little over 11h-12h, but now because finnair can’t fly over russia its about 13h. All finnair flights to phuket are seasonal holiday flights and yes its nonstop.

    A340's are my favourite series. Maybe because they were my childhood at all? Anyway, I love this noise, long takeoff roll, but personally I prefer A340-600 more than 300.

    the engine noise reminds me of the JT3D PW engines of a Saharan Boeing 707-320B

      No it's engines is CFMI56 - 5B reminds me of A320

      Aero Aviation CFM56-5C on the A340. Slightly larger fan and different engine cowling than the -5B.

      Ramdhany Nugraha yes. Actually most A340-300 takeoffs use TO/GA

      In Flex the Engine make a buzz in D Minor
      While in Toga they buzz in E minor
      Also noticed that the engine goes quiet when in toga power

      @@betelgeuse227 A340-300s are extremely underpowered. Any takeoffs with more than around 60-65% load will almost surely use TO/GA. + This is Phuket, which in tourism season (when European airlines fly there) is really hot, and the higher the air temperature is, more power will be needed since air particles are more spread apart, contributing to less lift.
      And you can't really assign a musical note to a power configuration since inside FLX and TO/GA the N1 percentage can change (lower FLX temperatures, higher percentage and vice versa)

    What a poor take-off performance an A340-300 has! It has a takeoff walk, not a takeoff run!
