These videos are so calming for me hahaha does anyone else watch them before they go to bed because it's so satisfying watching her organize everything
the cover girl clean matte bb cream is really good.
also try shade 203 in pro glow. I think it would match you.
elizabeth greer i wear the lightest shade of the pro-glow and idk if it's 203 but i think it would be a good match for her too
201 is lightest, but it's very pink imo
Catherine Thibodeau yes light is very pink
I buy the Loreal Tru Match Lumi and put it into the Loreal Lumi Cushion when it gets low because I like the convenience and the fact that I can just dip my beauty blender in.
The formula for both foundations are actually different interestingly enough. Quick tip, once you feel that you've finished the cushion, use a pair of tweezers and flip the sponge. The foundation ends up sinking towards the bottom and all the product is saturated on the other side of the sponge. I hope this helps c:
I really don't see much of a difference in the formula. But thanks for the tip! :)
Hayley that's a great idea!!
If you have dry skin....steer clear of the Anastasia foundation stick lol
Tilikum1983 Tilikum1983 i agree it accented every dry patch
Tilikum1983 love your name 🐬😢
Tilikum1983 Yes! I'm combination but it definitely made me look dry!
Tilikum1983 Tilikum1983 I was about to tell her the same. It's for oily skin. Every dry faced person I've seen try it absolutely hated it. I'm an oily beast in my tzone so I'm planning to try it soon. I'd love the hourglass stick too.
agreed! I like it for my typical oily skin, but if I have dry spots I can't use it.
Man, I honestly am envious of your decluttering skills. I have SO. MUCH. MAKEUP. And I guess I should take up youtube, but nah. I am obviously a collector. Or a hoarder.
the pro-glow comes in creamy natural also.
Kirstin Frosheiser I am a makeup addict and had to stop myself. My goal was no eyeshadow, foundation, powders, setting spray etc... unless I really need it un5il Summer. What happens. I got a 25$ gift card for Shopper Drug Mart from my darling from his Mom. What did I get? an eyeshadow quad with beautiful purples by Quo for 24$ BOL. .My sweetie is so bad he encourages me. He said to think of it being a pretty special quad gift from his Mom! lmao. I must stop.hahaha
Kirstin Frosheiser yes, please starts a makeup channel! :)
Kirstin Frosheiser I'm the same way! I have so much makeup, a lot that I never even reach for, but I can't make myself give it up. I go through everything at least once a month and give stuff to my cousin and sister, but honestly it's usually stuff I didn't want from my Subscription boxes or samples I've got from Sephora and Ulta. My husband constantly tells me I should start a channel. Especially since I spend 70% of my time watching RUclips videos. It's seriously something to think about sometimes. At least then I could justify my addiction, right? Lol.
i'm such a hoarder too! i started a makeup IG to help keep track of what i actually use (shameless promo it's @angela_beauty)
Can you do an updated formal occasion routine?
yes
Best RUclipsr. I trust all your opinions! No hidden agenda. I love it.
They started selling the missha bb cream at target
Michelle JKB THANKS! GOTTA TRY IT! I've been avidly searching out drugstore BB Creams, and not a single one has been right with my dry skin! My Target is undergoing a huge remodel, so right now, they're not ordering anything new, OR even replacing items they ALWAYS carry that are sold out. Very frustrating. But, am going to larger city with a MUCH bigger Target on Tuesday 1/24, so will ABSOLUTELY make time to stop in and check it out. Again Michelle JKB, thank you SO much for the info!
Amy M. Fry ahh I'm glad I can help :) i noticed something different right away when I was there yesterday and I was like what are these! They are by the boots section, in the "cult favorites" section.
Use target online to see what target they are at while you travel. They have all 5 shades online, it's the red tube like was in this video, and you can check to see if it's in store.
They also had the time revolution first treatment essence spray and night serum and the regular day serum. And the time revolution first treatment essence mask. It's a dual mask that is triple layers (it has the chin part that lifts under your chin up and helps reduce double chin). I picked up two of those cause these masks are awesome. They also had a pore hydration stick? I don't know what that is and all the instructions were not in English, I need to look it up. Their Korean beauty section has really expanded!
Glad I could help :)
Amy M. Fry oh I guess they have 2 different kinds, the red one that's in this video and a pink one with flowers on it called the missha signature real complete bb cream. The red on is $22 and the complete is $29, prob just have to research and see what works best for you.
Michelle JKB really thanks
do you happen to know if misha is cruelty free?
"Is this the first one I've passed on? That's embarrassing". 😂😂😂
Could you possibly do a drugstore skincare video?
Allyson C She has an Elf skincare video!
Brittany Britton yes I saw that. There's some stuff I want to try but I mean just an overall drugstore like Loreal, olay, say yes, roc etc. there's so much new stuff & idk what's actual good and good for you.
+Allyson C i heard olay regenerist (anti aging products) are amazing
Allyson Wonderland if you're looking for cruelty free options, I say give the 'Yes To' lines and 'Formula '10.0.6' a try.. I've had some hits and misses, but the 'Yes To' coconut and tomatoe lines have some products that are now in my forever skincare arena - they're awesome. I haven't tried a lot but Ulta does do the buy one, get one half off of the 'Formula '10.0.6' a LOT so you can essentially get two products for ten bucks; can't beat that to try them! The cucumber / coconut mask [can't remember the name, they have some odd names to remember] is amazing and I love their 'Be Berry Ready' cleanser for mornings, it's really gentle and smells super yummy!!
Sorry, I know this is kinda old but I've really been into skincare lately and it's hard to find good cruelty free options.. ELF does have some good ones, though; their gentle melt cleanser replaced my Pond's cold cream, and I've used Pond's for almost 20 years, LOL on and off, I'm not ancient but it was my ma-maw's favourite and I've used it all my life. I never thought I'd find a cruelty free eye makeup remover I loved as much, and if you only use the ELF one for eye makeup then it's not too badly priced.
Missha products are/going to be in store at Target this month! Check with your local Target to see if their displays are up yet! I love Missha products so much
Your declutter series is the best!
I absolutely ADORE your declutter videos! I rewatch them constantly and can never get enough.
love your declutter series and channel in general 💝 glad to see a fellow Hoosier doing well. i live in bloomington but lived in indianapolis for 5 years in the warren central area. youre so down to earth so keep up the good work!
btw im also buff 150 in the colorstay
Kristina Robinson I live near bloomington too! small world
My best friend went to Bloomington, she lives in Evansville now. :)
Kristina Robinson I live in Indiana too. Near the Fortwayne area
Shout out from Franklin!
I love your declutter videos. I think they're my favorite because it really shows what is your best of the best.
I love the bare minerals complexion rescue. Its so natural looking and light on the skin
The cover girl clean matte bb cream is amazing. Don't let the oily skin claim scare you, I'm dry and I love it!
Everytime you come out with your declutter series it makes me want to declutter my own makeup stash! I love it!!
I love these! You give so much information as to why and why not. You talk about everything in these videos, I can't get enough! Thank you for sharing!
I'm obsessed with the ELF Foundation! All time favorite, and have gone through SEVERAL bottles!
Actually you don't have a lot of foundations compared to a lot of other videos I've watched...you have more than me though lol.
by far my favorite videos of yours- I don't know why but your declutters are my favorite
I use the hourglass foundation with my Morphe M439 (a dense buffer brush) and it work amazingly!!
Arielle Oder Me too! We are foundation/brush twinsies! 💋👯💋
Arielle Oder do you think it would be okay with a regular beauty blender? I don't really like foundation "brushes" but I really want to try It out..
I agree with Arielle - it's thicker when you initially apply it and a very little amount almost magically blends super thinly to give you really great coverage. A brush works infinitely better than a Beautyblender for this purpose.
Would this foundation work for combo oily skin? I have a pretty oily t zone and large pores either side of my nose.
Arielle Oder Ok thank you :)
I have oily skin and I enjoy the It Cosmetics CC Cream. I just have to be sure to set it. I am really enjoying the declutter series. It's nice to have the mini reviews of all of your products!
your content just keeps getting better and better!
The Morphe M439 works amazingly with the Hour Glass foundation! I use it regularly with that brush and it always looks flawless!
I agree with you about the hourglass stick foundation, it is really a game changer for me. I apply it, spread it out with the special hourglass brush you mentioned, and then use the beauty blender to smooth any difficult areas. That's how I'm able to get it to look best on me.
you are right, the elf and it cosmetics are so great. the elf has a gray tone also and is perfect
The cushion refills are interchangeable. You can even buy empty ones so you can add your favorite foundation for easy quick travel and touch up. I love them.
Thank you for taking the time to swatch on a declutter video. We have similar skin tones and it is very helpful. I checked out the Boots No 7 foundation after you recommended it in a recent video. Idk about all locations but my local Target had it on clearance. I was hesitant to try something I possibly couldn't repurchase. I have been on the hunt for about a year to find something I really love. Still looking. This was helpful. Thank you!
the misha cushion foundation that you haven't opened is such an amazing product. i loved it!
My favorite drugstore bb cream is the Burt's bees one. Great coverage and stays all day. I love you decluttering videos, they always inspire me to go through my own collection
I am glad to hear I wasn't the only one that had issues with the pro-glow! It oxidized big time with me and I had to mix two to get the best shade.
the garnier bb cream is life. I love the one for oily skin and dry skin. the coverage on those for a bb cream is pretty good too.
i bought the elf flawless finish foundation yesterday becuz of you, Jess! im so excited to try it. the swatch was beautiful. so we shall see. im excited!
I actually love the way the hourglass stick looks with a black beauty blender. I bounce it and do a bit of swiping, and it looks flawless. I also love it with the Real Techniques expert face brush. I recommend both!
You can buy the Missha bb cream and cushion foundations on amazon!
I watch all your videos right away!! I enjoy your honesty 💗💗
Yes I totally agree about the Colorstay! I wear the 250 because the yellow undertone really suits me and I just use a beauty sponge to make it a thinner coverage so it doesn't look so off. I have such an issue finding yellow undertone foundations at the drugstore, and especially ones that work with my super oily skin.
I have the No 7 Airbrush Away foundation in a shade that's really gray and it's amazing! I never would have thought the gray tone would match my skin so well but it does!
I absolutely love watching your Declutter videos.! They're my fave.😊
I have oily skin and I bought the elf foundation because of you and I love it!
Love your declutter videos!!!!!!
I am so obsessed with these declutter videos.
I thought this was a great declutter. It shows you've been thoughtful about the foundations you add to your collection to begin with! I remember watching an old foundation declutter of yours and you didn't feel super positive about many of them it's great to see you grow into knowing what you truly want in makeup. Also you were awesome about keeping things for good reason. Foundation is tough because when you find something *right* it's a big deal but you still need to cover your bases as far as coverage levels and seasons etc. where as say blush is easier to let go over because 10 other brands make basically the same one. No two foundations are the same.
love your declutter series! love your ciders!
oily skin loves the it cosmetics cc cream too!
I too struggle decluttering my foundations. I think it's our skin changes soooo much with the seasonal changes...The struggle is real, Gurl!
I bought the ELF one because of you- and I absolutely love it!!
I love the Missha magic cushion foundation! You can get it at Amazon for around $10.
Dam seriously? ?? wow.
toxigenic I just got the same BB cream she has on Amazon for $12.80!!
I use the ultimate blending brush by elf for the hour glass foundation stick and it works so great !! I love it
I have very oily skin but I watch ALL your declutter videos because you actually get rid of a good amount and it prevents me from becoming a hoarder 😅💕
I have normal to oily skin, particularly in the summer. The IT CC+ cream works well for me. I apply it over clean, bare skin and set it with powder or IT Celebration foundation when I need extra coverage without looking cakey.
I wear the Revlon Colorstay in 150, but it's a little too light and flat, so I add a little Lumi foundation that's too warm/dark. It's the perfect blend- color wise, and formula wise!
Thank you for mentioning how quickly the cushion foundation runs out! I felt like a crazy person because no one was mentioning that and were just raving about it.
I am VERY pale and wear the shade 110 in the Revlon Color Stay Normal/Dry. It is really light, but has a very neutral almost grayish tone. Also, you could always add the custom cover drops to it if its a little light.
The it cosmetics CC+ cream (regular formula) is amazing on oily skin! I use it as a daily foundation and it doesnt make me breakout.
Great to see you loving my favorite Korean brands - both Missha and Dr.Jart :) I love their products but they sell it more expensive in the States so I end up stocking up on my "necessities" whenever I visit Korea.
Also a little tip when using cushion foundations (anything in cushion in general) the sponges do soak up products but if you keep pouncing on your face even if you think you have put all the product you initially got on the sponge on your face, you will still see something coming out. Those sponges are designed that way (at least as far as I know) so you actually don't need to keep putting the sponge back to the cushion.
I used my tarte airbuki brush with the hourglass foundation and it worked really well!
Hourglass works great with the Artist Brush too!! I know it's not cheaper but still looks fab!
I wear shade 220 in revlon colorstay. It is one of my favorite foundations
The e6 brush from morphe is good with the hourglass stick foundation! My fav foundation ever
I can't find anything pale enough for me. I wish we could all hang out and help each other find shades that work!
Allison Lewis I'm the same. I highly recommend the Manic Panic Dreamtone foundation in virgin (white). I found mine at Amazon. I mix it my foundations and I love it. Some people say it causes break outs but my skin is really sensitive and I haven't had a problem. It completely changed my foundation game.
Allison Lewis Shu Umera do great foundations for those of us with off-white skintones
Allison Lewis I have the same problem. There is a pale youtuber that I watch and love. Her user name is ThaaTaylaa and she does super pale foundation and foundation Friday every friday
Tana Brown yes! Taylor is amazing for pale princesses! I adore her even though I'm darker complexion!
Allison Lewis I'm the same. Most foundations are too dark. L'Oréal pro matte is the perfect shade for my ghost skin lol
I'm loving the IT Cosmetics CC cream too! Right now I'm trying out the Smashbox BB and Tarte's Rainforest of the Sea. I think we're pretty similar in skintone, and I wear the shade 200 nude in the Revlon Colorstay. When you finish your IT CC Illuminator, if you want that same touch of glow, mix something like Becca's Shimmering Skin Perfector with the regular CC. That's what I did today, and I really liked it.
I also love the IT cosmetics CC+ cream and just recently bought their tsv on QVC. It had a brand new foundation, confidence in a compact. OMG, I love it even more than the CC cream.
You NEED to try the Garner BB Cream, it's amazing gives you a natural glow and a medium ish coverage! Love you x
Yeah. Been waiting for this one. Glued to the screen.
I just discovered the L'Oréal lift and blur less than a month ago but it's amazing on me. I have textured skin from severe acne in my teen years and this just works so well for me. So many foundations draw attention to my uneven texture and this just makes the best out of a crappy skin situation. Nothing will ever make my skin smooth outside so laser treatments or something. I loved it so much I ran out and bought more because it was half price at my Rite Aid.
The hourglass brush applies all foundation beautifully. It was expensive but 100% worth it!
I also used to wear 150 in revlon colorstay because of the greyish undertone you mentioned, I now wear 180 and I think it's perfect! You might like it also!
NYX makes white foundation mixer that makes foundations lighter when you mix it. It works GREAT!
The hourglass foundation is leaps and bounds ahead of the ABH one, especially for dry skin
I'm sure I've said it before, but I love my L'Oréal Pro Matte and Pro Glow (especially when I mix the 2 together!). I really need to channel Jessica's decluttering skills for my eyeshadows... WAY TOO MANY!
Also the L'Oréal pro glow in Creamy Natural would probably work well for you. It oxidizes on me to be a little darker than my skin tone, but if I blend it on my neck it just makes me look tan.
I really like the e.l.f foundation but my favorite is the it cosmetics cc+! I know it has those glitters in it but it really works with my extremely dry skin the best.
I'm a new subscriber and have been binging on your declutters. Really impressed that you don't keep everything. When I watch makeup collection videos, I always wonder how the creator can possibly use everything they have. You'll actually use what you have and appreciate it more.
I've been using the ELF foundation with the acne stuff in it and it's been wonderful. Finally found my foundation!
I use a beautyblender with the hourglass foundation and i love it!
Tarte buffing brush or ecotools bronzer brush. They are dupes and I feel like it would work amazingly with the hourglass foundation!!!
I'm on the paler side and use the pro glow in 203 it works quite well, one of my favs
Flip the cushion upside down in the loreal cushion! There will still be a lot of saturation at the bottom of the cushion. That's a thing that happens in all cushion foundations. Make sure you flip them over when they start getting dry on the top.
as always ur videos are always soooooo entertaining!!!
I use Almay Smart Shade for my BB/ CC Cream for the summer. I use 200- Light /Medium. It has a SPF 20 in it & it's so light but covers Great & I have rosacea on my cheeks. I love it!!!
I have your skintone and for the colorstay I actually end up using the natural beige with a tiny bit on porcelain mixed in and it's perfect! Also for the pro glow trying using 203 and 201!
I use the It Cosmetics CC Cream and I have really oily skin and it works amazing!!
i love watching your declutter videos
I live for your declutter videos!!!
The flower beauty stick foundation from Walmart is similar to the hourglass , I also love the elf and It cosmetics CCs
Try Sand Beige in the Revlon Colorstay. Also, I love the covergirl clean matte bb cream from the drugstore as well as the garnier bb for combo/oily skin.
sweetie don't feel bad for not getting rid of some much feel happy that u have it to begin with :) I'm currently mixing and old concealer with moisturizer to make foundation and I know it could be worse. love your videos u r my favorite u tuber :) ♡
I use revlon in buff and it's a little on the paler side of the yellow undertone and I tend to use a darker blush to help balance
I mix Buff 150 & Sand Beige 180 in Revlon Colorstay. In the winter I do mostly Buff with a dot of Sand Beige and in the Summer I'm just Sand Beige and 50/50 the rest of the time.
morphe g8, technically its blush brush, but i have used it with the MUF stick foundation forever, tried it with the hourglass foundation and it looks amazing
I love the Revlon color stay. I'm light too. I fortunately picked the ' porcelain 130 I love it for a long wearing. I went back and bought 2 extra just because.
I really enjoy the covergirl bb cream. It's light coverage but I like it because it has spf and it lasts all day. It's more for a natural look. I use it on days that I'm in a rush and don't have time to pat in foundation.
Love these declutter videos
in the Revlon colorstay I'm near your skin tone & I have 220 & it matches perfectly
I also struggle with finding my right shade in the Loreal pro matte and pro glow! No shade is even close to a good match for me. Loved the video!
I got so excited when I saw the Missha BB cream. I had that a few years ago and run out of it. I forgot about it even existing until this video. I am going to buy it again!!! Yay!! I am going to also get the Elf foundation. I would have never really even tied it but with so many youtuber's talking about it I have got to give it a try and see what the hype is about. Jessica I love your videos a lot.. I rarely ever comment but I watch every single video you put on here. I just wish in your delutter videos you would show your face. I like it when we can see your smile. Sit behind your vanity or something with your products in front of you so we can see them and you too. Pretty please!!
i wanted so bad the milani conceal and perfect foundation but the lightest shade is WAYYY too dark for me
justicia marquez Did you try shade 01 or 00? 00 is a new shade and it's suppose to be the lightest one.
Vanessa Thammarath i havent seen that shade yet but now i guess im gonna be on the hunt for it lol, thanks!
justicia marquez I was a dorito with the lightest on. They supposedly have a new shade but it's only one shade lighter so I don't know how much lighter it is
justicia marquez Same! And the undertone was way off so even using my white mixer from Nyx didn't help. It's sitting in my graveyard as we speak, but I'm decluttering my beauty room this week. It's gotta go, sadly 😢😢 Maybe they'll release lighter shades, but I doubt it.
justicia marquez same!!
