You should try the Tarte tape shape. That is the only concealer I own and LOVE it!

Michelle Keller The NYX HD is dry for under my eyes but i use it in other places. but i'm old and have dry under eyes.
I have been putting the date on products so I know how long I have had them.

me too. I have some of those sticker dots (you can find them with the school supplies/ stationary aisle) and I write down at least the year I open them. Except with mascara, I just use one tube at a time right now, and I throw them out after 3-4 months after opening.
Shape tape is worth every bit of hype.. you need it in your life!!
Rosie Bess...I totally agree. I've gotten rid of all my other concealers after getting the Shape Tape.
You kept a lot more than you usually do but still got rid of way more than most people would. I LOVE your declutters. They're my favorite part of your channel and I find them so cathartic!
The Shape Tape is truly worth the hype. I can easily get rid of any other under eye concealer I have.

Erin T. I blend mine out with a dense brush, elf and real techniques have some great ones, sometimes after using a brush, I'll go in and pat it with my fingers because the warmth of my fingers really help the product blend into my skin while keeping the coverage. (:

I dust the pink/rose Besame powder under my eyes on no-makeup days. It's a verrrrrry sheer version of a salmon/pink corrector when you have dark circles.

Please explain to me why on earth I love watching your declutters so much?!? I mean I watch all your videos, but when I see you've posted a declutter I get Christmas Eve excited!
it's just so satisfying sometimes to see someone else clean out their collections, plus it's nice to see someone who enjoys some of the same products we do. It's also kind of inspiring. I know after one of her declutters, I feel in the mood to clean out a little, and it usually works a little, enough to get rid of up to half of my products.
Ah, I love your declutter videos! It helped me a lot through the last year when I declutteres my whole life. My makeup stash now fits in one not so big drawer and I am glad, still don't use all of them. Previously I had at least 10 times more which makes non sense. And thank you for admitting that everything creases on you, finally someone. Everything creases on me as well, I do the exact same thing as you! After finishing the rest of my makeup I pat the freshly creased concealer under my eyes in with my clean fingers and then set it, works way better for me than baking. Baking make me look sick, old and wrinkly, I highly doubt that it is useful or necessary for everyday wear for all of us, it look way better on photos and on camera than in person. When I don't have dark circles (which is rare unfortunatel) the best trick for me to even skip undereye concealer and only put a tiny little layer of foundation with my beauty blender after covering the rest of my face. In this case also, it can crease and I tap, but I encourage everyone to try these as I am sure not everyone need everyday high coverage under the eyes. Thanks for you work Jessica! from one dry-skinned girl to another, the best concealer i've ever tried is the cover fx cream concealer! i've never really liked concealer bc i felt like it always clung to the dryness around any spots i may have, but the cover fx just makes my skin look so flawless and luminous! game changer for me

I like the fitme a lot, I'm a similar skin tone to you and I'd recommend 10Light which has a pink undertone or 15fair which has a neutral to yellow undertone

fit me concealer by maybelline is amazing!! #10 light is a perfect shade for me. it covers my dark circles but also any acne or redness. it's perfection!

the YSL isn't a concealer at all its a brightening pen and isn't designed for coverage at all x
the nyx gotcha covered concealer and the Tarte maracuja have the same exact formula btw. I felt like they were similar, so I looked them both up, and I believe the only difference is that the nyx has a different oil rather than the maracuja by Tarte.

I pay a ridiculous 30 dollars for the nars radiant creamy concealer because it's THAT amazing. It does crease very slightly if I forget to set it. But it looks so naturally, brightens up the undereyes really well and conceals imperfections without looking cakey. When it does crease a quick pat pat does the job! Soooo good. I got my mom hooked too :)

yes!! i have some pretty bad honrmonal/cystic acne on my chin and it has great coverage so you only need a little bit to spot conceal!

Marisa. yes you get almost double the amount of product you get in a typical liquid conceler plus it has amazing coverage so it goes a long way. In my opinion its 100% worth it even with the pricetag!
Marisa...one bottle of shape tape will last a normal person FOREVER. First, it's way bigger than normal concealers so you get more product. And second, you only need the tiniest bit. Idk how these ytube gurus use so much of it. The way they use it, it's just way too much. I literally put one dot under each eye, one dot on my forehead & a tiny dot on my chin, & that all blends out SO FAR. So yes, I believe it will last a long time :)

I obsessed over the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind when it first came out, but I am at the same point with it that you are. I purchased the new CoverGirl concealer and tried it out for the first time today, and now I feel like the Maybelline is letting me down. Ugghhh..... so confusing! Thanks for the declutter, Jessica! It does help when you do these videos- saves time and money!

What's kinda funny, and sad, is that I watch these videos; A because I love you and love how you describe why you liked or didn't like a product and B so I know if the shade fair is going to be too dark for me for a brand. Especially drugstore! I cannot find a concealer for my face. I want a better option than just high-end but I don't think that'll ever happen.
Also, Does the Nyx one provide any coverage? I want to get it for the brightening but I just wanted to know lol. Let us know if you like the Besame! I want to try that brand reallllllllyyyyy bad haha.
Jessica after your BB cream declutter I ordered the misha bb cream. I saw on Amazon the also had a BB boost primer. It is awesome. Definitely has a fragrance but it doesn't seem to last. If you haven't tried it I recommend it. It works well under foundation too. I have dry skin as well. Thanks for the BB recommendation.

Hi Jessica. I found you about 6 months ago and you, out of all these you tubers, have become my favorite. Everyday when I get on here, I'm looking for a new video from you. I'm in my early 40's, so you are younger than me and I have wrinkles that I can't even detect beginning on you. You are so relatable and beautiful. I love how down to earth you are. I trust what you say, and sadly, I can't say that about too many people on here anymore. I have a favor. I bought Bare Minerals "well rested" because you had said you liked it. I don't know how to use it though. I don't wear a full face of foundation, but I need concealer. I know asking you to do a whole video on that product is asking too much, but maybe you could incorporate it with something else? Regardless, big hugs~ Luv u Jessica!!

Sonia kashuk has a really great concealer in a long black tube with a sponge tip (I think). I love it. Its a newer one and not always in store but I think online.

I threw out all of mine except the Tarte shape tape and the maybelline dream lumi. I won't repurchase the maybelline though since I switched to cruelty free

Jessica, as far as the Age Rewind Concealer from Maybelline, I think you need shade 120 LIGHT. That's what I use, I'm fair as well. But I think you still have to use it in conjunction with another concealer to hide the black circles.
Could u try all the new Milani stuff if u haven't already. I heard great things about the concealer and setting spray
Alyssa Smith I love the Milani Retouch and Erase Concealer. :) It has definitely been a go to Concealer of mine recently. :-) And the setting spray is amazing too. It is rare to find a setting spray that not only helps with getting rid of the powdery look, but also helps your makeup last longer, and then is affordable on top of it. 👌🏻 Have you tried any of the Milani blushes?
The Bobbi Brown light bisque concealer is meant to go down first to cover the dark circles. Then, you apply a regular toned concelar on top. I used to use it everyday, but it's pricey.

I agree that Tarts Shape Tape has great coverage, but I would suggest getting a sample first, because it is scented (which bothered my skin) and on some people, like me, it can make your under eyes look drier than usual.

OMG, I LOVE that NYX Gotcha Covered concealer! 😊 And I love how super pale the fairest shade is and how the formula just melts into my skin, despite starting off so thick ☺ I definitely prefer blending it out with my fingers, though, because the warmth of my fingers really makes it blend beautifully 😊 Thanks for another fantastic video! 😁 💖 xox

Julia Gross I find it works great for both! 😊 Setting it is important, because it's such a creamy formula, but it has amazing coverage and feels pleasantly lightweight, so it's ideal for under-eye and blemish concealing ☺ xox
kjjjacobs13 Absolutely! 😊 I have suuuper dry skin and I find that the formula sits really nicely on my skin, so long as my skincare routine is nice and hydrating. It doesn't dry out my skin or look cakey at any point and I LOVE how it handles facial mists 😍 My face always starts to feel dry by about midday, so I use moisturising facial mists a lot (the kind that contain things like glycerin, hyaluronic acid, etc.) and I love that this concealer doesn't budge or fade as a result. If anything, misting just makes it look fresher, lol. Easily my all-time favourite concealer! 😊 xox
