Definitely a beautiful truck. One issue I have is all that polish, but air tanks reflecting in boxes are not. Attention to details.
we have a price point to be at on this truck, we felt it was more important for most buyers to have a fresh engine, tires, brakes, drums, ect. 99% of the time when dismounting the air tanks on this vintage of a truck you have to replace all of the tank straps. time and parts equal higher prices so we felt the trade off of not doing the tanks that are behind the 9'' blanks and under the cab of the truck was just one piece of the way to keep to our price point on this project. new carpet instead of fiberglass painted floors, flipped stock mirrors instead of over a grand for custom mirrors, diamond plate deck plate instead of stainless, ect.
This truck is gorgeous. You guys should build a completely blacked out day cab next.

Awesome job on this 379EH, for me to Shell out that kinda money, the interior color has to change and I don't know why people think it's cool to shave the roof of it's lights and horns, to each his own but retro bullet lights with glass watermelon lenses and big faced round 37" Grover horns on the roof would have looked nice but that's just me, overall you guys did one heck of a job getting this to where it's at and if nobody has ever ripped into a semi to re do, they could appreciate all the tedious hard work it takes from start to finish, great job guys.
yeah everyone has the styles they like for sure. we try to do some different stuff on each build to change it up a bit. This one already had the cab shaved when we got it so we ran with this look. The last truck we did had 13 cab lights on it. different strokes for different folks lol thanks for checking out the video

I like this truck if it had a pusher axle it would be perfect. I haul grain for a living the only thing the lights on bottom corners of bumper wouldn't last long because i haul out of the field sometimes and the corn stalks would knock them off. Other then that awesome truck.
we farm also hauling out of the field, we usually just run down the stalks with the tractor and auger cart where we park the trucks in the field at to protect lights. but lights can always be changed if thats a real concern, as far as pusher goes we can add one easily with this truck their is plenty of room.

It not haven a flat top roof throughs me off other then that i love it. But i need a sleeper for what i do.
we can always add a sleeper no worries. we can even add the flat top roof from talladega fiberglass for ya

Crazy how this was two years ago and only 79k. Now a days people would post something like this for 180+
Beautiful truck but most companies won’t lease on with 20 year old equipment!! Many have a 5 to 8 year cut off . Can’t go into California that’s for sure . Way to nice for a rock hauler. Make a nice unit to pull tank on a dedicated run .
we know tons of cattle haulers that go into cali with pre 2000 trucks, just got to watch what your doing. most people we sell to do not lease on to companies they own their own equipment and have their own loads. we are not interested in building emissions trucks
nice truck but needs aftermarket dropped mirror brackets or flip the stock ones
The stock mirror brackets are flipped on this truck. We used 12 gauge customs brackets on the last 2 trucks we built decided to go this way on this one.
Good Stuff Guys, did a 98 three yrs ago, looked about like it, cat power and viper red tho, put it on the internet at Thanksgiving and the 1st guy to come look at it bought it, Drove 600 miles, could not believe it, one minute i had my dream build and the next minute it was gone! Dont price them if you aint serious bout selling them. * Got a question tho* Thought about taking breather blanks and puttting the bullet lights in them also, was afraid to drill them for bending them? Did you drill them or could you water jet the holes?? Keep up the good work !!

I need to get a price on dual revolution red to white as a backup light as you have on your trailers are they expensive and do I need a special plug
the 4" round lights are $39.99 on www.mcdonaldchromeshop.com you need to either tap into your reverse light wire to have them activate when you put in reverse or run an individual wire back to change it with the flip of a switch on your dash.
@@McDonaldChromeShop I also have oval lights in my trailer I drive a trout River live bottom asphalt trailer would I'd be able to get lights for that also I like to see if you could do a video on RUclips but the proper way to install dual revolution lights
Love truck. But the red interior needs changed to black or grey
we could of changed interior but you really start adding up time and even more price when you start changing out all the interior and we needed to stop someplace. Since the motor work and all the other work got the price to where its at we couldnt justify going anymore on interior. But i do agree i would rather see a grey interior or go to fiberglass painted interior, we could do that for the new owner but like i said we needed to stop someplace so this was it. thanks for checking out the video and the truck
