Colombian Here: 1. These criminals target both foreigners and locals the same. Anybody thats gives them "papaya" (which means to get caught slacking) won't hesitate to take the opportunity to snatch something from you. You probably won't even know how it happened. 2. DO NOT HANG OUT in the club or at the bar with people that you DONT KNOW. This is a rule for everyone that lives in Colombia. People meet other people through their social circle and slowly increase that circle in order to meet new people. You can meet new people one night but make sure you do it with close friends. NEVER DO IT ALONE. 3. DO NOT ORDER COCKTAILS!! drink beer or take shots at the bar (of course you need to see the bartender serving your drink). You may order bottles at the table but make sure is legit, brand new and the cap is always on the bottle while you're not drinking. 4. Make sure you're at home before 3am. Don't wait until they are kicking you out of the club. Be the last one to arrive and the first one to leave. 5. DON'T TALK ABOUT MONEY. Colombians don't care and don't want to hear about it. There are a lot of Colombians that make over 300k a year and you won't be able to tell. If the wrong people notice you're bragging about your salary or how succesful you are, they will take advantage of you. Modesty is king!! And finally, Don't pay for lust and addiction, IT WILL RUIN YOU...
The don’t talk about money and showing it is so true. In Bogota you are stupid if you flaunt shit in a bar or the street, rarely you see anyone with designer stuff period. Dressing like you do in the US to flex will get you robbed, and some people need to know this when coming here or many other 3rdWC’s
@@HuntsDown I agree. It's not fare to say he was a passport bro, when maybe he just prefers columbian girls over all other races. His family is from the East, the chances of him being with someone else from the East is high, meaning he will already be trying to find someone 'over seas'. This was the wrong video to apply this to tbh
exactly. These are NOT the traditional women that they keep preaching about. Your traditional woman will not be on Tinder and won't hook up with you on the 2nd date. That's common sense.
@@lysistrata3119Exactly! She didnt look trad to me, at all. I live in Eastern Europe, and trust me, most of the girls that continously ("somehow, oopsie, it just happens, love finds a way" lol) end up with Americans, are not considered traditional here. Any truly (not just perfomative) traditional and smart woman will think twice before getting with a Western guy, because she will consider how the cultural differences (there is alot of them) will affect their future family. Men get their ego in their way and cant see a big % of these relationships are just her way of having a better life. An average guy in the states is an average guy here too, just with a bigger wallet.
My moms gave me 3 rules for foreign travel: 1) Never get blackout drunk 2) Never do drugs 3) Never go home with an unvetted woman. Served me well for many years.
In Nigeria, we have some books about Nigerian American men coming home to marry. Obviously the woman is going with expectations, whether it's a girl from a city like Lagos or she's from a very rural village. Then they get to the US and are shocked that she "shine her eyes" 😂😂😂. Of course her new world view will affect the way she was before, they want a village girl they can count on to even suffer for nothing because that's life for most Nigerians, but when a person discovers they have options, they will definitely explore and it's always funny to see how those relationships turn out. People really think poor women from villages in developing countries are wired different like aliens or another species 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
Oh, the petty in me can’t help but laugh when a man gets himself a village girl from a poor country, thinking she’ll be his submissive sex slave all his life, only for her to get that green card and leave his ass.
My friend volunteered for a suicide hotline in the Philippines, and he told me about an elderly Australian thinking about ending it all, cuz his Filipino girlfriend took all his savings and ran out. His family back home didn’t want to help him, nobody in the embassy could do anything, and he was about to get kicked out of the model he was staying in. Bad people exist everywhere- men or women.
True, but when you try to date a woman half your age and gorgeous, I hope you do understand that the chances that she's there for your.. personality are very limited.
Yep, that was a great quote. Colombian women are some of the hottest in the world. Why would they be interested in an average looking or slightly below average looking guy?
South American here, my honest thought about this is the following: its funny. Passport Bros come to Latin America thinking is a huge whorehouse, think is a rich man making it rain on fucking Medellin of all places and end up being dead. How dumb you need to be for this to happen to you? My brothers, Latin women are more friendly and talkative, if you act as a normal person you can find someone nice, as everywhere else. But if you're making it rain in a club, at a dangerous place and a 10 is hitting on you, my dude, if you're at home would a 10 hit on you? Is the same over here. Use your head and be normal
I said the same sht bro and got cussed out. I'm literally said once nxggaz end up offed then maybe they'll see what I'm talking bout. Now look at where we are......
Exactly. I think this should be the natural response globally to Passport Bros, who think they can just come and disrespect and take advantage of local women. If they dont get love at home, they won't get it elsewhere.
Yup. They have this savior complex that they are better than us because they come from a first world country and their money is multiplied by 7, but don't realize that they are just being bad people. Like no, the good housewife women that are virgind and have never dated anyone in their lifes aren't going to be crawling all over you because you are American, the only things that are going to be crawling on you are the roaches on your face after you get drugged by a 27 year old sex worker that will most likely sell your organs. Don't be stupid. What's worse are the news media skipping over those facts just to say my country is dangerous. Just don't be a dumbass looking for cheap sex and you'll be fine.
Hello, Colombian here, from Bogotá First and foremost, feel free to visit any city in Colombia. Enjoy the landscapes, the food, the music, the weather-enjoy everything! You are all welcome here, and we will do our best to make you feel at home. We have a saying, and probably in this video, a lot of Colombians have been saying it: “Don’t give papaya.” That means be cautious and don’t be naive. Enjoy everything, but stay aware of your surroundings, especially in crowded places, no matter the city. I know there are a lot of male tourists who have suffered from the criminality and security problems we have in our cities. That sucks, and we locals suffer from that problem as well. Please be aware that Medellín is now very gentrified, and that also comes with criminals trying to "make a living" off other people’s belongings. A lot of expats (migrants, no matter how much they hate being called that-they are just that) and digital nomads, brag about how much money they make or how rich they are (keep in mind that they’re so rich they can’t afford a decent apartment in any U.S. city), basically “giving papaya” as I mentioned before. Please be safe and don’t brag about money. There are plenty of people who make a lot of money with completely legal businesses like emeralds, coffee, etc., so we don’t care too much about your money… well, criminals might 😉. Also, there’s the other side of the coin. A good example is what happened to Valentina Trespalacios, who was m*rder*d by a U.S. citizen named John Poulos here in Bogotá. He k*ll*d her and left her body in a travel bag in a pile of trash; or how many U.S. citizens have been arrested because they come to make nasty stuff with minors, it would be great if the media also showed that part of the story. I’m not trying to say U.S. citizens are bad; I’m just pointing out a case where things were the other way around. Criminal behavior can come from anywhere. Sorry for my English, it's not my first language, and thanks for the video.
How can one even enjoy themself when they have to constantly look over their shoulder all the time. Idk man these countries don’t seem so fun to visit considering that. Like it’s vibes but shit is always lurking beneath. I hope you don’t take offense because I’m from a country who is always in the top 3 murder capitals of the world
I love how hard he checked Aba. Women are not material items with ROI. And any man that treats them that way, should not be surprised when he is treated like a commodity as well. If that's your mind set... you get what you get.
Just because its a get away trip doesn’t mean violence isnt gonna be there alot of people ignore blatant signs and lose rational thinking when they travel
If you go to a good hotel out of the US especially a resort in Mexico or the DR, they’ll tell you not to go to these areas for these reasons unless you have a solid guide or something like that
Who the F uses dating apps when visiting another countries? It is the perfect time to socialize with people in a new place. Either way, it is sickening how people are capable of doing such heinous crimes. It is a SICKNESS!
The cultural barrier part is spot on. Went to visit family and partake in the carinival in trinidad earlier this year. And despite me having the lingo down pact, and even the dialect as well as knowing some of the cultural customs, my cousins who live there told me just how bad i stick out like a sore thumb. Something as simple as your choice of hair cut, how much you weigh, and whether or not you wear socks and sandals or just plain old your hygiene. Small things that we think nothing of, are easily noticed among people who don't have access to the financial means you do. Being well groomed means you have some money. Weighing 10-20 lbs more means you are well fed, and have a good flow of money. no socks but wearing sandals, and how clean those socks are also indicate wealth or in some instances, fashion influences. So in a impoverished nation.....you might think you blend in.....but you are blaringly obvious.
Absolutely this. Same when I go home to Africa to visit. I’m thinking I’m dressed like everyone else, haven’t uttered a word and you get stares everywhere you go. My family out there said that they can tell by the smallest details like your posture and the glow of your skin. We take so much of our luxury for granted in the West. I suppose need & living in survival mode makes you hypersensitive to any sort of perception of wealth which makes sense & is quite sad when you think about it.
My Dad was a marine, and he always taught me that strange(unacquainted) women that aggressively pursue you and try to get you to come to their place are AT BEST trying to rob you. Never trust a pretty face in an unfamiliar place. The poom poom is never free, you don’t get access unless you commit to it, pay for it, or you are much higher status.
My dad was told by a security guard outside a store we frequented, that he just went to Thailand and "you can get girls.... with no hair.... wink wink" (INFRONT of his daughters....). My dad immediately went into the store and said what the man had told him. We found out he was a pedophile from India and was telling men in our city (vancouver bc) that he could get away with stuff with minors in Thailand. I honestly couldn't believe he was telling people this openly....
I was shocked until I heard Vancouver, then it made sense. Criminals getting away with literally everything and literally every drug being legal does that to people
No joke, do not go to the asian fish markets in Vancouver. On the wrong days you will see things involving humans and machetes that you don't want to witness, the turf wars were crazy even before every drug became legal
As a Colombian living close to Cartagena, I know there are two sides to the coin: The power of the USD is so strong that some people come here and literally buy women, including underage girls, for the weekend, as well as the cheapest high-quality drugs in the world. Yes, it can be a dangerous place, but the drug and sex markets exist because of the demand-it’s not the other way around. To Americans: take care of your mental health, focus on finding relationships in your own country, work hard, develop interesting skills, learn how to communicate with real people in real places, and stop thinking drugs and hores will cure your sugar induced depression.
Very wise words. I'm curious to know what you think about the people who come to your country to engage in the drug and sex tourism industries. Be honest if you can. As an American, I'm always pleased to get other nationality's perspectives.
Be real, the local men there can’t stand that a guy who works in McDonald’s here can catch a flight land in Colombia and can buy their women, the crimes are motivated by money sure but jealousy just as well
@@unyieldingrage1389have you seen flight prices lol? I’m not saying it’s impossible for a guy working at McDonald’s to buy a plane ticket to Colombia. But I AM saying the average McDonald’s worker is not thinking about traveling. Ask me how I know, because I worked there before lol.
I survived a scopolamine intoxication attempt in Medellín recently. I went to South America a few months back, starting in Nicaragua and ending my trip in Colombia. I went out with a woman in Medellín, in a public bar in Poblado, on a calm evening during the week (we didn't go to the big party area there). I had three beers which I emptied before going to the restroom two times. However, I must have slipped watching my drink because an hour after, my heart started racing uncontrollably. I called off the date and went back home alone, where I developed dizzyness, redness and temperatures without being able to sweat - typical signs of anticholinergic syndrome. I went to the ER and got it confirmed. Luckily, I wasn't unconscious and nothing got stolen, I could leave the hospital a few hours later. Moral of the story: don't do dating apps in foreign countries, even if you're thirsting for some. Watch your beverages. That being said, not everyone is to be mistrusted. I had a wonderful time after meeting a Colombian when doing a day tour some time later. Meet organically.
That stuff is made from devil's trumpet, it grows pretty much everywhere in Columbia and is very easy to make into a very dangerous drug, glad you knew what you were feeling and got it taken care of, scary stuff

My family is from Colombia. My mother lost her parents at the age of 2 when an Event called, "La Violencia (The Violence)" happened from 1948 to 1958. It was a civil war that destroyed and changed the direction of our family forever. The ranch hands graped my grandmother then they ended both of my grandparents by beheading and then told my mother and her siblings to never return or suffer the same fate. I will not put myself in a situation where I give anyone the chance to repeat the past with me. I have a love hate relationship with Colombia.

I live in Colombia and also lived in Florida and New York. USA has equally dangerous places maybe even more depending on area. I have citizenship for both so I’ve traveled a bit on both and no doubt I might consider USA just as dangerous
That’s what I’m saying like you get warnings about the places you go to… and you are going to a country where people are flirting with you to get away… there is a reason for that.
As a "Colombian-American" (I don't like the term so I put the quotation marks) I've been warned about this type of thing since 2018 (I just turned 17 years old at that time) going there semi frequently. I hear things happen: from girls leading guys to do unspeakable things, to seeing someone kidnap someone else in the blink of an eye. Do your best to stay safe. You could look like a dumb and for whatever reason they will still choose to target you so your judgement is your best friend. I love Colombia from the scenery, the history, the climate, etc. Stay safe y'all. PS. be careful of various powders that can be thrown in your face and you're immediately inebriated, I remember seeing a documentary on that on Caracol International (A Spanish news channel) back in 2015ish. I was 14 when I saw that.
The reason why I don't like the term, simply put, it just comes with certain "expectations" because I look like one thing visually, when I grew up in a different culture. I just tell people I'm Colombian, that's just where my blood comes from. Nothing more nothing less.
@@Eze-j3p Same way specific individuals say "ex-pat" rather than just immigrant. Columbian American to people most likely sounds like, oh you immigrated to the country from the States and therefore must be rich.
If you're in your mid 30's and older and you tried again and again to find a suitable partner in the states and failed. Then go overseas. Don't let anyone shame you into doing otherwise. But if you're going there just for sex and nefarious activities then you get what you get.
Have you noticed how the majority of them aren’t attractive or “cool”? There is a reason why they aren’t successful in America! When you are good looking and have rizz, you can get women no matter where you go. $ex tourism isn’t new and unlike Americans, most people around the world have travelled and slept with the local women but unlike Americans who think it’s cool to tell the world about it, others keep it on the low. Everyone outside of the US know that it’s not a flex to say that you slept with women from the DR, the Philippines, Thailand or Columbia. It’s basically the same as admitting that you pay for escorts smh 🤦🏽♀️
This, folks are trying hard to shame fellas for exersizing their options. Not everyone is going for sex. Some folks want decent women with traditional values.
@ Sorry to say but all the countries that they travel to aren’t known for their “traditional women”. Also I don’t think that Americans really understands the meaning of the word traditional tbh
I know what you're trying to say and you're partially correct. The fact also is that most people in the US have devastatingly horrendous mental health. Most countries have a far higher proportion of normal, well-adjusted people and part of this includes being more genuinely friendly and interested in other people than Americans. But the people who are dealing with these issues because they are facing these issues because they are engaging in sex tourism and not just going to places to experience new cultures and make genuine connections. They are literally searching for the maladjusted people abroad, because they themselves are and they probably have not experience many people who are not .

Colombian here, living in Provenza (the most touristic place you’ll find in Colombia) in Medellin. I will bet all my money that about 90% of the foreigners that have been killed have been either involved with drugs or prostitution (which is still very sad, but not surprising) I see pretty frequently that Foreigners will blindly accept any pretty woman’s offer to “go back to their place” even if they don’t know them, just because they find them hot, oh boy, you will get robbed. 1. Don’t go alone to places you don’t know with strangers omg. Stay with your friends. 2. Don’t accept drinks from strangers or get into drugs just because it’s “easier” for you to access them here. 3. Most Americans get a bad rep for being into UNDERAGE girls that sadly are in prostitution, so please, I beg you, just don’t engage in prostitution. It’s not only dangerous but we as locals will consider you as a piece of trash and most of us have zero tolerance for the sex tourist. My country is beautiful and fun, but there are lots of people out here that sadly are poor, and are truly struggling to get by, so don’t be stupid, don’t brag about the money you make or designer stuff or dumb stuff like that, we truly don’t care about that kind of stuff and we will think you are a jerk, or worse, will get you robbed. You’ll meet people that are filthy rich here and you wouldn’t even know it. Be humble. Other than that, you’ll be fine. I did lots of dumb partying in the past and have never gotten anything stolen or something “scary” happen to me. Just don’t do stupid stuff, some foreigners have tried to offer me money or things to sleep with them or date them and I have found it disgusting.
You spoke the truth! Americans have really bad reputation everywhere they go! This summer, I had to explain to american idiots that's they put their life in danger when they go hiking during HEATWAVE when my government issued a warning for extreme weather conditions. An american died due to heatwave and the idiots were saying that my country is sangerous because... we don't have the right to carry guns!!! That level of stupidity!
I always hated that content creators pushed the whole passport bro agenda.... especially when none of them lead by example. They tell you to get your passport but none of them marry women from other countries. And most men just financially, socially and time wise, can't date outside the country... its not surprising more and more men are getting caught in the trap.
It's a stupid idea too. These women want you for money and a green card. Once you give it to them, the whole "submissive wife" facade will disappear. These dudes just get duped by women wherever they go.
Because it was never about relationships, the whole thing was about sexual tourism and not finding your soulmate, basically, flex your first world currency and passport to third world women and use them for sex, in some cases, they even lead them on promising a way out of their country to keep using them.
My older brother is a Passport Bro. Happened after his fiancee cheated on him, he just said he wasn't going to bother dating in the US anymore. Today he's living in Thailand and their entire life together is funded by his military pension. He gets it deposited into a US bank and every so often they transfer funds out to a Thai bank account. They don't work, she tries to be an influencer but has near zero personality, and it's blatantly obvious to anybody who sees them together for more than 10 minutes that she looks at him as a meal ticket. I even asked him once why he doesn't move back to the US. It wasn't because of her family (she only has a couple of siblings and only one still lives in Thailand anyway) or friends, it's solely because he thinks it's because of the lifestyle he can afford in Thailand vs the US. In the States, his pension would barely be enough if they live in a small apartment together and he works (how many hours would depend on what part of the country they're in). In Thailand, he doesn't have to work and just gets 7 times the average monthly salary given to him tax free. He knows why she's with him, that she's a gold digger that's latched herself onto him. She gets to have a (relatively) rich husband that spoils her endlessly, he gets to have a girl that cooks and cleans and sucks his dick pretty much on demand. That's the reality. Sure, you can have the girl of your dreams... if you can manage to bring in an American salary while not living in the USA. If you choose to leave behind your family, the country you've spent most of your life in, the culture you've grown up around, it can happen. Try to take her back to the US and it'll probably fall apart, whether it's due to her own culture shock or homesickness or she becomes "radicalized" or it really just clicks that the level of "success" you have isn't going to be enough to keep her loyal. Maybe you could find love and I'm just being a pessimist. Who knows? I've seen it firsthand though... realistically, the best you can probably get is that you're uprooting your life for a relationship that amounts to two people using one another; and at worst, well this video is a good indicator of what that is.
What your brother is doing, many are also doing it here in the USA! Finances and resources are relative (like everything else in life!). And this is the number one topic you have described that NO ONE wants to discuss: how in the fudge does a person who served the USA in the armed forces not have enough of a pension to live comfortably in the USA??!!!?? But our society/nation does make sure billionaires get their tax cuts and private equity keeps ruling the landscape! Is no wonder why young people today do not want to join the military (generally speaking) and the military has been having all types of problems meeting their yearly quotas!
your brother is a loser that dont repect himself enough to be alone instead to be with a golddiger as you said, he chose a poor country to get a woman that obviously only see him as a wallet, he looks like a plane person without personality or character , mediocre, that prefers to live their life souless than have self control and aspire for better . 13:50 I think Preach is right on the money here. Why it irks him so much is that these men are looking to CONTROL people and somewhat OWN them by having money (harder to leave of being mistreated because they utterly depend on that individual) Instead of actually trying to build a relationship through mutual respect and understanding. Honestly doesn’t sit right with me as well.
Exactly. These men go online and complain about western women non-stop because they don't want an equal, they want someone they can have complete control over.
Ain’t nobody trying to control a Colombian with money. It would not happen. People can be controlled without the money. Your statement is American. Many of Americans think that. You guys forget that when a person looks good, they have more control like the woman who got the Asian man killed. When there’s an emotional connection, they can be controlled. You think that simply having money and everyone up in their momma is going to control someone because of lack of Money? You haven’t been to a 3rd world country. Yeah mutual respect my azz. High rates of divorce and women in America still taking men to the cleaners. Women in the IS in general don’t respect men.
Preach is a lame and this video is lame. Passport bros are going to other countries for relationships and power imbalances are inherent in all of them.
My best friend who had a girlfriend went on a month trip overseas with 3 of his friends (1 of them also being in a relationship) who would constantly post about being ‘Passport Bros’, clearly not knowing what it meant. They both came back to Australia and ended up single😂
I was kinda wondering about that lol. These wealthy Americans are basically making themselves the most vulnerable to total strangers in other countries. What did they expect to happen?
Every rich person who travels frequently will look like a bum in other countries, no jewelry, no nice suits, they look as poor as the locals because anything else puts a target on their back
I saw some people say that they will find their love overseas but there is more to it. You have to know your partner. I’m sure they know why these “passportbros” are going there

Not every passport bro is red pilled,a lot of them are just normal dudes that go there for the foreign women which has been a thing for decades before the red pilled movement
The bottom line is to be aware of the dangers in other countries and the scams that target foreigners. This isn’t exclusive to passport bros or whatever at all. People are really hijacking this to be about something it’s not about which is kind of gross.
Talking about people being manipulated and killed in hopes of finding love, and then taking an ad break for some earbuds. Can directly after the add going back just thinking about dead people trying to find love
Not gonna say i saw this coming, but i am not surprised. I knew a woman from brazil and she told me, if I ever go there, to watch my back, and have some people youre gonna spend your time there with. Gotta be careful and safe and a big part of that is definitely being aware of your situation, and surroundings.
Just personally speaking. I have a filipino wife from the Philippines. I guess im technically a passport bro, even though i really don't feel like i meet a lot of typical criteria. My wife is the same age as me, she has a degree, and she comes from a roughly middle class family in the philippines (she has an actual house and her dad worked overseas for 20 years). I also didn't specifically look for a filipino, us meeting was very odd, its a long story but the short of it was i wasn't looking for a foreigner and i wasn't looking for some traditional submissive woman. I happened to be moving to Korea, so i was more open to being with a person from an asian country, especially after talking for a bit. All of this context is to say i have mixed feelings on this issue because if you've ever been to the Philippines, 90% of foreign men there are either old creeps with girls their daughters ages or just straight up sex tourists. That being said, I feel like you can be ethical about it if you don't go with incredibly warped expectations. Also, not viewing women as an equal is probably the biggest issue that i see with these passport bros.
I completely agree. A lot of people who end up marrying someone out of their native country just love traveling and God brought them together. 💙 It’s a night and day difference between globetrotters and the “passport bros”. :)
If you weren't looking for it, then you're not a passport bro. My wife is also from outside the US, and I met her completely by chance. In fact I was swearing off dating for a few years so I could work on myself after getting out of a failed long term relationship 18 months prior, but the chemistry was there and we hit it off.. 3 years later we got married. I don't call myself a passport bro because guys like you and I are not.
Yeah I agree you aren’t a passport bro. Your intentions were good and you fell in love organically and similar to how you would if you were in your home country.
A year ago the parents of a Colombian football player who plays for Liverpool FC (they are one of the 5 richest clubs in the world) got kidnapped. Trust me, if a millionaire football player can't keep his parents safe, you won't be safe there. In fact you're probably going to be unsafe in any poor, crime infested country.
I was having a conversation with this black American man in his late thirties. He is well travelled. He speaks Chinese, French and Spanish. This man, says when he travels out, he says women approach him and buy him drinks. He says he's definitely not going to bars and clubs where he is the "meal ticket"
There's been an uptick here in Rio with drugging tourists. My friend sent me 3 videos this morning of attempts to drug and rob tourists. 2 girls were arrested because there were undercover cops watching them and followed them to the guys apartment. One dude got robbed for everything. The other guy was falling down in the street leaving the bar and had to leave in an ambulance. He was drugged but they couldn't get him in the car fast enough. My friend and his buddy brought 3 girls home and lost all their stuff. There's at least 3 other cases I know of all in the last 3 months. Brothers gotta be careful. It's ugly right now.
This happened to one of my classmates from high school. He’d just finished his degree and went to Colombia to celebrate. His family was super proud. He’d only become a US citizen a few years prior, emigrating from Vietnam, one of the first in his family to get a degree. He went to meet a girl out there, and was drugged, robbed, and murdered. Was in his late 20s. His little sister even went on the news when he didn’t come home to help find him, then when they finally found out he passed, they wouldn’t even release his body to the family. He wasn’t a very nice guy when I knew him but no one deserves that, that’s a sad way to go, and his poor family ugh. I can’t, thats just so horrible
It seems like Aba only has compassion for women. If it was a woman who lost her life in this manner I'm sure he'd be all emotional. For a man oh well it's your fault. It's still a human being who has been brutally deleted
Yeah but 3rd world can come in our country 25 million and be safe is such B.S. if we can't be safe there why our we allowing such people to be safe here.
Normal people are safer in 3rd world countries than in "first world" US. Have you even checked homicide rates? But americans are so brainless , that they should really avoid going out of their homes.
@sardonumspa8113 It doesn’t even have Cambodian in the title what are you on about? It’s just a small mistake,. I’m glad the commenter pointed it out but it’s not that big a deal.
I’m with Preach on this topic. It’s one thing to buy materials in another state or region for a better return on your investment, but to apply that logic to a human, is low down dirty, diabolical work.
I get what they both are saying but I think abba is saying more of like stay in your lane when I lt comes to finding a partner. I can’t really go up to the rich girl who gets treated like a princess and doesn’t pay for anything and wants me to pay for her food and outings. I gotta either find someone who is financially in the same boat or is ok with what I can provide with my income. If the rich girl likes me and is ok with the down grade or I’m ok with her parents paying for things that’s different but it’s alright to look in what you can afford. Even a broke girl can ask for a lot from me and I’ll pass on that too.
It’s superficial. I can’t complain about dating apps then talk about “return on investment” when pursuing relationships. If that’s the case then the accessibility of dating apps makes sense for me to use it.
I moved back to the Caribbean for multiple reasons not just for " traditional women " even though there are gold diggers here , I fell off their radar after I told them I actually have no intention of going back or the desire of opening a bank account .
Hell yeah! I'll take the trade off though, but I learned the language. Also it doesn't take long to find a wifey type of girl, however you BETTER be ready to be a man!
Thank you! I was thinking the same thing. Dudes who invest that much isn’t seeking prostitution. They are trying to buy companionship. There are more financially hardship women in other countries who would take them up on their offer.
Rule #1 when in colombia: NEVER SAY YOU ARE AMERICAN. if they don't ask don't tell. Rule #2 Never wear anything flashy jewelry, watches, clothing. They have a saying *don't give a thief the opportunity. Rule #3 never be alone even at night. And listen to the locals. I have been to colombia numerous times it's a very beautiful country with beautiful women. Be very careful.
Americans are the easiest tourists to spot anywhere in the world. They don't need to announce it lol. The rest of the list is imperative especially heed the warnings of the locals.
Why in the hell would anyone claim they got a passport to find a traditional woman in another country and then look for one on a dating app when they get there? It doesn't matter what country you find yourself in, you will never find yourself a traditional woman on Tinder.
Ive used dating apps and had lots of success, but you have to properly vet. Found a great girl who knows English and she was basically my translator and tour guide when I visited. Without her I wouldve been freaking out because I dont speak fluent Spanish
The difference is, for one dude, most woman on tinder in the USA will skip him, while that same dude will get many matches in other countries. Sometimes passport bros wanna feel normal and desired, not the bottom of the dating barrel.
@@Mr.YasQueenAnd they never ask themselves why? They know what they attract so if its a sudden uptick & way out of their league it means there is something else going on. Why are we acting like these guys go to find wives? Majority go to find easy s3x, illegal s3x, drugs, etc.
been to colombia few times pereira, medellin, cali and bogota... my tips and advice... 1. don't carry lots of cash.. don't wear expensive clothes, jewelry, or smart wear technology stuff (airpods, iwatch etc) 2. don't wear sandal or flip flop... you give away the tourist vibe right away 3. bring and use a very old old cellphone when walking outside... bring paper copy of your ID/passport... never bring real one with you out on street.. leave your current newest cellphone and important docs in hotel safe/lock box 4. avoid following girls or interacting with random girls coming mingle with you at street/bar/restaurant/club (what preach said) 5. do your research and know where are the hood areas are at 6. never travel alone.. avoid dark alley or place where less people are at 7. do not use bank ATM at night.. there are some banks where they have a night security guard watching the ATM but you never know if you being watched or followed once you leave the eyes of the guard 8. always take car service/taxi when leaving from fancy restaurant or place...
Yeah, the whole passport bros movement is just a cover up for sex tourism, that's what it really is. I mostly see Black American men doing this passport bro content
"There is a reason why these people want to rob you" yeah, the reason is the justification of crime by poverty. As long as people justify it, there is no much hope. I grew up in extreme poverty, here in Brazil, and that is something, but never did any crime. Never found justifiable, thankfully.
@@Aaron-kj8dv Rouge is a reddish color, Khmer Rouge was name given to communist in Cambodia. Hi preach and abba, I'm Hmong, and we are not Cambodian. Hmong people have origins similar to the Chinese but our people migrated centuries ago to settle in places like Laos and Thailand. We do not belong to any single country, and our language is distinct from Chinese, Thai, or Laotian. Many Hmong people still reside in Laos and Thailand today. We are also recognized as "South East Asians" and fought alongside the Americans in the Vietnam War. After the war, many Hmong people came to America to escape the conflicts/aftermath.
We only hear about the dating app cases because there is a paper trail via the app, but the same danger is there if you meet people in-person. Preach gave an example of an in-person danger at 3:18. I will go further to say that meeting in-person, with zero vetting, is more dangerous.
If you're an average dude in the US you're equally average in the eyes of Colombian women. So even if you manage to bring one to the US she'll quickly realize there are better dudes to hang around. The trick is to become not average in the place you were born by working on yourself.
not really most Columbian guys don't workout, so an average guy who guys to them a few times a week, and has an average job in the USA def gets a couple of pts in Columbia
No, the trick is to not bring them to the better country and keep the power in your hands. the overwhelming majority of people are average, and will never not be average because *biology* You can't outwork or outspend you *biological* limitations. Go, smash, breed, and always be ready to leave that country if you feel the heat around the corner.
Nah I could debate this especially since I'm an ugly dude, my experience have been interesting to say the least. It doesn't make sense to bring them back to america, the reason I'm personally traveling is to find a new place to call home. As for women they'll simply be around lol no need to make them a priority especially if your financially stable
Or humble yourself and realize your average place and worth and lower your standards. Settle down with someone that’s not out of your league instead of trying to compete in a rat race for better options with other men all doing the same thing. Doing that can lead to addictive patterns of wanting more and wanting better, leading to not being a good or faithful partner. It also leads to constant dissatisfaction and unhappiness.
What’s crazy to me as someone who has been doing Men’s Advocacy work in Divorce/Family Court for 14 years it’s always shocked me how RP spaces such as Passport Bros all of a sudden seems to not be able to look at divorce statistics of marrying abroad. When advocating this solution for the exact stats today use to promote the lifestyle hi all of a sudden they go silent about the way higher divorce stats of marrying abroad. Those numbers become exponentially higher when adding in an age gap relationship/marriage. 💁🏼♀️
This has been going on for a long time. Apps have simply made it easier to find their targets. I do not believe people will ever learn their lesson. Be careful. No matter how safe you feel, just be careful.
tbh, I bet these guys are such obvious marks too. I could make a fake Tinder and find them easy. I bet it's all "I like Colombian women because they're so traditional" and that would be a dead giveaway of someone who's coming in blind because Colombian women are NOT traditional
ok... as an American that went abroad and got married: DO NOT GO TO DATE. DO NOT GO TO HOOKUP. find someone before you go, spend time getting to know them first. make sure they are legit and they aren't targeting you, because once you step outside of your country, you are limited on your options when shit goes sideways. i met my wife before i left the US, spent a year getting to know her first and made sure she was the one I wanted to be with. be smart about it so you don't end up a victim because you didn't want to think things through and just wanted to go overseas and think it's easy to get a good one right off the bat.
Most men don't want to wait and most want access to pretty women. You're advice is good but you have to understand its about sec and access to cheap, beautiful women
Appreciate you bros for shedding some light on this. A little about the Hmong folks - we are a mountainous ethnic group originally from China. During the Vietnam War, many Hmong men and boys were recruited by the CIA to help with the war effort and after the Americans pulled out, my Hmong people were hunted and executed for helping. Many from my parents' and grandparents' generation were allowed to obtain legal passage to the United States and a few other counties to escape persecution. And here we are now. One popular Hmong person you may have heard of is Olympic Gold medalist, Sunisa Lee.
That shit applies to any country, men gotta be real careful in foreign streets. Know a guy that pulled a chick in some club, took her back to his hotel room for drinks and some, brother woke up 3 days later -used his fingerprint to get into his banking apps and drained them dry, all belongings taken, and all he wanted was some fun.

I'm an American with a Colombian wife and we lived in Medellin for 2 years until June. Its a safe place as long as you move accordingly. But too many gringos want to come down and party with women and think with the wrong head and get in trouble. Scopolomine is easy to sneak in a drink and if you are taking a girl back to your place, its one text away from having guys with guns or knives come over and rob you. They do not have their own country or land. We never knew where our home was because we were taken from Africa and it’s impossible to trace back our village or country that we come from the same as these people who don’t have a home to call their own, but this is just my personal opinion and my dealings with them. I definitely don’t like them in there. Culture in their views on Americans in black Americans. Definitely interesting group of people I say send them back.

Hello, Colombian here, from Bogotá
First and foremost, feel free to visit any city in Colombia.

It is sad and disgusting
Desperation it's finest
Yeah this makes me sad people are actually like this
Simple. Just don't do it.
Thank you for sharing
Absolutely this. Same when I go home to Africa to visit. I’m thinking I’m dressed like everyone else, haven’t uttered a word and you get stares everywhere you go. My family out there said that they can tell by the smallest details like your posture and the glow of your skin. We take so much of our luxury for granted in the West. I suppose need & living in survival mode makes you hypersensitive to any sort of perception of wealth which makes sense & is quite sad when you think about it.
Shit people could have learned that from CIA videos 🤣
@@DTreatz What CIA video?

My dumbass for a sec thought you meant bald women. 😂
No joke, do not go to the asian fish markets in Vancouver. On the wrong days you will see things involving humans and machetes that you don't want to witness, the turf wars were crazy even before every drug became legal
As someone who lives near Vancouver this doesn't suprise me at all sadly
As a Colombian living close to Cartagena, I know there are two sides to the coin:
The power of the USD is so strong that some people come here and literally buy women, including underage girls, for the weekend, as well as the cheapest high-quality drugs in the world.

He was hurt and instead of growing up he literally choose the easy way becoming a horrible person without hope or dignity.

U never been married huh

Not to mention pedos.
I completely agree.
A lot of people who end up marrying someone out of their native country just love traveling and God brought them together. 💙
It’s a night and day difference between globetrotters and the “passport bros”.

Hmong (Muh-Oooh-Nng) people are a southeast asian ethnic group. They are a diaspora coming/moving from many asian countries like China, Vietnam, Thailand, and Laos. The most famous member from the community recently is Sunisa Lee who won the Olympics.
So basically they don’t have a country of their own. They are like the mountain people. I’ve dated Vietnamese girls and I’m a black African-American and I remember when I dated Hmong girl, the other Asian women that I dated told me do not date this woman they are mountain people they are savages. They do not have their own country or land. I did not listen to them me and this woman dated and had children and she is the worst type of woman I’ve ever been around in my life her family try to make me pay them $5000 to date her which was crazy, and I am from Minnesota to be honest the Hmong people are very racist very stereotypical, but in a way I kind of feel sorry for them because they are like black Americans to me.
If a relationship is dependent on your paycheck and you buy their love that person is an object. You buy objects.

People need to be more careful when you go to a different country. Any country. Even first world countries. Always do your research and don’t be drunk outside. Never . Go with a group.
Sex and money is the core of all the relationships and dynamics at heart.
