One of the nicest dudes I ever hung out with was a sociopath, he knew he had issues and did his best to be a person in spite of them. And when he messed up, he'd own up to it. Small (but informative) update here: The Korean media don't buy Johnny's lousy apology. Not only did they reveal citizens don't buy it but they also reported his fake apology in Japan and how he mocked the people after he left the country. So you can be certain the prosecution are aware that Johnny is a big liar who'll say anything to get out trouble.

As a korean, I just wanna point something out about the judicial system in Korea. The prison sentences don’t stack up here like the States. Instead, they pick the worst charge from the list of crimes committed and base the sentencing off that only. Also the sentences are usually light for first time offenders of the crime being charged, so don’t think he’ll receive anything more than a probation or 3 years at best. Now with that in mind, deep fake crime has gotten a lot of attention recently, so if the court wants to make an example outta him, then he is utterly screwed.
