    Great video! Just want to point out that the Metcon line is not designed for running. They are cross-trainers designed for lateral and medial support. They are not designed to have the natural forward motion of a running shoe.
    The overall intent of the shoe is stability for weight lifting/gym activites.

    Thank you for the review! Is there a high level comparison between these and the inov8 f lite g 300? I’ve been looking for a new pair of trainers that have a more wide or “natural” shaped toe box. I’ve loved the design of the metcons but they’ve felt too narrow in the toe. I like the nano but I’m considering changing it up. Thanks!

    I don't know if you hoop but I love my metcon 6, solid lock down, pretty good traction, and the fact that it has a drop in midsole. I dropped my kobe 9 insoles in them, they work but I'm still to scared to heel strike. I debating if I should try to hoop hard in them. Super off topic but do I risk my knees and possible shin splints 😂.

    shouldn't you put the strap up and tie over it (not very tight). then for a work set pull the strap to the bottom position to really tighten the laces and put it back to loosen up the shoe during rest? kind of like how you would use wrist wraps, super tight for a set and then off right after

    • @judeyyudkin3183
      @judeyyudkin3183 3 года назад +1

      I have wide feet and a very high arch which also lends to needing a wider shoe. Nanos have always fit great and so have my metcons. I just tried on the metcon 7 and they have a slightly tighter toe box and the rest of the shoe is very snug. I couldn’t even use my orthotics, which I have never had a problem using with all my athletic shoes. I think if they stretch a little they will be fine. It really depends on how wide your foot is. I would give them a try. But definitely not a good shoe if you need to use orthotics.
