Great video and detailed expanation on all aspects. Actually was searching for q video of someone to reviewing these exact shoes after i just purchased them with Nike’s sale a few days ago. Can’t wait to try them on and put them to heavy use
Favorite Metcon of All Time??!! Wow. That’s a big co-sign coming from you Joel. I love the Metcon’s for lifting and short runs but not so much for workouts involving a lot of distance running. When I saw these had React tech I got excited and to hear that you give them such high praise has me convinced to purchase them. Thank you sir for all that you do. You are appreciated. Happy holidays
I sold all my nikes and only wear epic reacts and been using vans for leg day. Now that they have these ima have to buy a couple color ways for leg day! They look so much better in person/video than pics. Nice review
Great review! I would like to know if the size of these would be the same as any other Nike sneakers that i have so that i can order them without hesitation? for example AF1s or Jordan 1s (i have many Nike shoes all the same size i don't really know if the sizing of training shoes is the same)
i’m thinking of returning mine, i’m wondering if i’d prefer the look of the others i were looking at .. but first, gonna do a gym session in them to see how i feel
Hi there like the video good job i have a few questions... What are they like for sqauts ie dose the hill lift off the ground, secondly what are they like for deadlifts are they grounded enough for the feet not to pop off the ground, 3rd with the inner side tbat leather look stuff dose that appaer to wear of time ie crack flack that kinda thing, thank you for your time hope you have time to stop by
@asmanyreviewsaspossible I'm returning the metcon UT, the straps are absurdely too short, I have thick feet but it's like they didn't even try. With the upper sock of the react, do you have to squeeze your foot in there, does the shoe lose the hug like fit over time, I'm just afraid of stretching it out and ruining the fit of the shoe
I agree these shoes are great if you can get past the actual look. Also love the laceless system. The laces were one of the worst parts of the metcon 5
do u think this shoe has good lateral support? bcos i almost broke my ankle with the ultraboosts. im looking for a shoe now that provides good lateral support as i play floorball extensively and need the lateral support. what do u think?
What do you think about these for Desdlifts/Squats vs the Metcon 3s or 4s? I have held onto my 3s because of the stable hard sole. I'm just looking for something new.
Anyone have any advice for heel slippage with these? I can tighten the shoe to the max and I can still remove the shoe at full tightness. Anyone can offer help?
I don’t do CrossFit but I do powerlifting and a little strongman training. I’m pretty convinced these will be a good training shoe. I made the mistake of buying in to the hype with the no bull shoes and I hate them. Gonna pull the trigger on these
Bought a pair after your review. Really happy with them until the left lacing system came completely unglued from the inside of the shoe. Unfixable. Heard of anyone else with this issue?
Shoes feel like a great fit, almost on the tight side, yet my heels start to get real irritated while doing cardio rubbing on that metcon heel stop, do I just need to break them in more? This is only my 4th workout in them and I haven’t worn them around the house just at the gym
I just bought these on sale at a Nike factory store. Let me say that it is the most comfiest metcon ever (I own quite a few) but the laces.... Here’s my biggest gripe: Once you pull in the laces there’s is no way “reset” them to the original position and you’ll always excess flopping around. Doubly so when you pull on the laces . Shame Nike couldn’t find a way to tuck them better without resorting to clunky methods. Especially for the price point for these shoes.
Has anyone had any problems with the lacing system? Can u get them tight, do they stay tight? Any durability issues with the lacing system breaking? If so is it easy to replace
I would vote no. The traction on the sole is not great, and the laces do not really tighten, so its challenging to get a truly snug fit. I was slipping doing burpees, which I know is not a leteral move, but i did not like the slipping.
As Many Reviews As Possible thank you for that, I was going to buy the nano 9s but might look at these now. I actually like the look of these and don’t really love any of the nano 9 color ways
BiG Joel please help me with the size for someone normal use 43 size of metcon4 wich size will be for metcon react? Im a little bit worried because no laces 😉 Thanks in advance 💪
John Dela Cruz anytime you’re wearing ANY brand, you’re a billboard. Why even bother wearing reputable brands anyways? There’s a reason people wear Rolex over timex. And yes, I’m Asian and it matters to me.
@@AMRAP The logo or name of the brand guarantees consumer the quality they normally get from that brand. For most non-asians that's all that it represents and not something to flaunt about. Besides, as if nike has no cheap shoes that a big NIKE on your shoes screams luxury.
Finally, been waiting for this video to pull the trigger
Thanks a lot Joel

Always on point with your reviews, Joel. Thank you.
As for the shoe, ill leave it for now, until a better design arises

Are you going to do the Inov8 f lite g 300 soon? Very excited for that one. Great review.

I watched this video in the Nike Outlet and decided to buy them, they were $55.00 !
i’m thinking of returning mine, i’m wondering if i’d prefer the look of the others i were looking at .. but first, gonna do a gym session in them to see how i feel

Could u put an orthotic insole in these shoes, or would that not work due to the drop in midsole
@asmanyreviewsaspossible

The look ain't bad they remind me of some kobe ads
do u think this shoe has good lateral support? bcos i almost broke my ankle with the ultraboosts. im looking for a shoe now that provides good lateral support as i play floorball extensively and need the lateral support. what do u think?
I've been really trying to hit my calves hard...would a less flexible shoe work for calf work (donkey press, edge of leg press, seated raises)?
What Crossfit shoe would you recommend for a D width high arch foot?
Do you think you could wear the shoe outside of training like school I hate carrying extra shoes to change into after morning workouts
500lb deadlift raw! Amazing. Giving me hope I too can reach that level
808kea808 thank you! You will! Just keep at it!
As Many Reviews As Possible what’s your max?
808kea808 565 on a stiff bar
I love the react midfoam, but the sole and the shoelaces are dissapointing. The tread is too flat and has no grip, I was slipping doing burpees.
Hello. Would you still recommend this as the best training shoe for running and lightweight wods in 2022? Thanks:)
Thanks for covering squats in the review.
Bb

Benjamin Marquis these aren’t the ones if you wanted a stiff sole.
What shorts are those @ 13:40 and where can I get me some? Thanks

Anyone have any advice for heel slippage with these?
I can tighten the shoe to the max and I can still remove the shoe at full tightness. Anyone can offer help?
my regular shoes size is a 10 but should I go up one or stay
I’ve been using them for a week now. I love them so far. Pr’ed my deadlift in them
Riaz Paynter Are they tight
Rope climbs started rubbing the logo off the top but other than that seems like a great shoe so far
Are these better than the flyknit 2
I don’t do CrossFit but I do powerlifting and a little strongman training. I’m pretty convinced these will be a good training shoe. I made the mistake of buying in to the hype with the no bull shoes and I hate them.
Gonna pull the trigger on these
my feet and ankles scream at me just *looking* at nobulls
Bought a pair after your review. Really happy with them until the left lacing system came completely unglued from the inside of the shoe. Unfixable. Heard of anyone else with this issue?
I got this same issue!!! I'm going to mine replaced today. Might even switch to the metcon 5.
I deadlifted in my Reacts last night and they felt better than Chucks, 5's, 9's, not as good as Lite Trs.
Is it good for football? Artificial grass
the quality of video is amazing. whats the camera?
ALI EMADI I’m using a Sony a7iii with tamron 28-75 f/2.8

Could you do a review on the uesaka barbell and bumpers please
Next year
@@AMRAP heheheee! Ok ill wait
I like the convenience of having no laces. My Metcon 5s laces keeps untying.
Try the so-called Berluti knot. Takes a short time to get use to, but you can say goodbye to untying laces...
So if I where like a 11 in Nike and Jordan shoes I should get like a 10 1/2 for my workout shoes???
Traylon Ingram I just bought a a pair today! I’m a 12, but had to get a 12.5 in these they run small
i’m here to try to understand the laces 👀
I just bought these on sale at a Nike factory store. Let me say that it is the most comfiest metcon ever (I own quite a few) but the laces....

Shame Nike couldn’t find a way to tuck them better without resorting to clunky methods. Especially for the price point for these shoes.
Can you tuck in or stow the "laces", or do they just hang out?
They just hang out
Has anyone had any problems with the lacing system? Can u get them tight, do they stay tight? Any durability issues with the lacing system breaking? If so is it easy to replace
Blake Musick people have had some durability issues with them just pulling off, don’t know how that’s been resolved though
Bruh 😳. Respect on that 500 lb pull
@Mark Rizkallah The pull is actually 525, I just said 500 because it's easier.
@@AMRAP oh snap
would you recommend it for squats and heavy lifting?
I have them and if you don’t have any ankle mobility issues they should be good. They are flat and stable
Isnt this metcon flyknit 4 or something? Did they change it to react model or something?
Yeah it they did
is this a good training shoe for lateral movements? thanks
I would vote no. The traction on the sole is not great, and the laces do not really tighten, so its challenging to get a truly snug fit. I was slipping doing burpees, which I know is not a leteral move, but i did not like the slipping.
Someone know the drop?🤔
Great review
Nano X vs React metcon? Which one is better? Thx
I'm in a serious dilemma, which one should i buy. The lace system looks funny here and I don't know if pulling it hard would affect that.
Joel, feel free to send me your 10.5s!
Does this shoe come with hyperlift soles?
Eugene Goh it does not
these are my first pair of trainers 😶
Any review ? They Are ok for training like lifting and other things ?
perfect review, real quality
Huge fail that there isn’t a way to keep the laces from flopping around all over the place. Excited to see other color ways in this.
Ty Kam they should’ve done it like the SF but honestly it hasn’t even been nearly an issue for me to care
Do you prefer these to the Nano 9?
I prefer these right now.
As Many Reviews As Possible thank you for that, I was going to buy the nano 9s but might look at these now. I actually like the look of these and don’t really love any of the nano 9 color ways
What shirt are you wearing ?
Robert Alessi sharpen the axe use code joel10 for a discount
As Many Reviews As Possible thanks, but sold out in L 😢
This for a more run focused metcon shoe, inov-8 or this?
Cameron Williams inov8 235v3, 230
BiG Joel please help me with the size for someone normal use 43 size of metcon4 wich size will be for metcon react?
Im a little bit worried because no laces 😉
Thanks in advance 💪
Go with size 43, they're tighter to account for no laces.
@@AMRAP Thanks a lot Joel ;)
📝
Is this good for flat feet, sir?
They’re okay. Not terrible but not awful either. I’d size up
As Many Reviews As Possible othorwise do you have any suggestion of nike traning shoes that great support flat feet, please ?
What are the leggings you’re wearing in this video?
Ty Kam ten thousand gear. Use code amrap for 20% off
Are they good bodybuilding/HITT training shoes?
Hafiz Alfarzan yeah I think they would do great for that stuff too.
As Many Reviews As Possible Appreciate the quick response brother. Earned a new subscriber with these reviews. Will order them now! 🤙
Anyone else arches feel tight after a long wod or cleans? Love the show but they do feel a bit narrow
I totally know what you mean, it took a while for it to break in and go away but I think you might be better off going up half a size.
Sold me
atleast credit the beat maker. got damn. hate when people do that. i hear this beat alot
At least, a lot, god damn, Hate, I. Beat by Lakey Inspired.
El elástico se fue ala mierd...
Thats probably the shoes with the largest 'NIKE' on it. You'll be a walking billboard wearing it.
John Dela Cruz so?
