Coming back to this knowing it's a joke is a whole new experience. Also knowing rabiosexual was originally intended to be a way for neurodivergent people who were treated as a feral creature their whole lives to reclaim and cope with being treated as a rabid animal makes this a little sad.

Anyone infected with rabies (intentionally or not) who didn't immediately seek treatment would bypass the narrow window of time and then they're a goner. The sight of water or drops and noise trigger unrest and cramps. The mood of the patient fluctuates between aggression and depression. The rarer paralytic form of rabies mainly affects the nerves of the spinal cord and the peripheral nerves. Already at this stage, increasing paralysis occurs.
Coma (paralysis stage):
In the last stage of rabies, the patient suffers from progressive symptoms of paralysis. The patient eventually falls into a coma and usually dies of respiratory paralysis. Once rabies breaks out, it ends fatally.

As someone who actually got bitten by a rabid animal and had to get the shots this ticks me off. (Never showed symptoms, started treatment within 2-3 days of being bitten.)
The first treatment was a round of NINE shots! One at the site of the bite (One of the most painful things I've endured), one in each arm, and 3 in each buttcheek.
I had to keep going to follow up appointments for 3 additional shots given at different times.

Guys, unpopular opinion here, I don’t think we should feed babies. Not unless they come out and say it. And if they grow up into adults who still don’t want to eat then so be it.
Kids are too young to understand what eating food does to you, and I don’t mean that in a “they’ll make you fat and die” what I mean is they don’t understand what they’re setting themselves up for in the future (breastfed is pretty traumatic for children too, but that’s for another day.) if a child is too young to consent to sex or medical transplant they’re too young to consent to food.

It feels like the original rabies meme is making fun of a lot of disabled and neurodivergent communities (like the autistic and Deaf communities) that are treated with derision for being proud, and wanting to preserve, something that the rest of society sees as self-evidently bad.
