As a Dane it's funny to hear you say, a quick 9h flight. Since the longest domestic flight in Denmark is probably no more than 2h tops & many other countries can be reached in 3-4h. For a future visit, you might wanna go to Louisiana Museum, or take a trip to Århus & see the old town + visit Aros Museum. All the best from Denmark ❤
I love non-stop routes and the new non-stop from Atlanta to Copenhagen on SAS makes traveling to Denmark so easy! I’m used to longer flights so 9 hours doesn’t feel that bad 😄 Thank you for your suggestions! I can’t wait to return to Denmark to explore more places
the longest domestic flight in denmark is 1 h 15 minutes, which is the seasonal flight between billund airport in jutland and the island of bornholm.....
In front of Kronborg, in an old Drydock from the former Helsingør Shipyard, or actually outside the dock, is a fine Maritime Museum! I have also sailed in a Ferry between islands in Malta and this one was built in Helsingør.
As a Dane I can confirm that it can be pretty windy outside the cities esp. this time of year. Maybe you should check opening hours online before going to the castles. I am glad you managed to find a little sun light. Denmark is 56 degrees north so kinda dark now with short days and long nights.
Yes, DK is very much more than CPH. Try Funen, Jutland and not to forget the island Bornholm. Bornholm is the real gem in DK. Danes, Swedes and Poles know it. Real island vibes. BTW, in Aahus they have a deer park too. Here you can actually walk among the deers and hand-feed them.
The Garten is rather - newly built and has been made as a similar garden from the time. It is about human control over the surroundings. King Christian 4th had an Office with a secret elevator making him able to sit inside without the people waiting outside being aware of how he entered.
Nice video - Glad to hear you had a good experience.
