It's "Frederiksborg Castle" and not "Frederiksberg Castle" - that is a different thing :)

Next time you're in Denmark I recommend you checking out the chalk cliffs of Møn. There's a nice museum there telling the story about the cliffs and showcasing some of the fossils that has been found there. Nearby is the beautiful park "Liselund" with it's own cute little story.

I know that Denmark is a very small country, compared to the us. But saying you have seen Denmark outside Copenhagen is more or less the same as saying you have seen all of the us, by visiting Georgia. Don't get me wrong, i'm super happy you like my country so much. Just remember there are so much more to it than just a fairytale. This is after all also the land of the hardened northmen (vikings)

That was a part of Northern Sjælland! Next time go west! Roskilde, with the cathedral and the viking ship museum, Lejre. with the open air museum , which covers the period from the Mesolithic to the early middle ages! And yeah ... LOADS of AFCs (Another F*cking Castle/Church) dotted around! And visit Korsør! It's a little town just before the Great Belt Bridge, which was here the ferries departed before the bridge was completed in 1998. The even have a maritime museum as well And further down south there are Vordingborg, with the Castle museum. And even further (Before you drive into the Femarn Belt you have the islands of Lolland and Falster (No! Lolland is NOT that fun! It's MUST be another viking "joke" (Like Iceland and Greenland!). At Nykøbing Falster (Yeah we have THREE towns called Nykøbing (Falster, Sjælland, and Mors) ^^ ) they have a superstition museum (Obscurum). It's not that big, but kind of spooky! Just on the other side at Lolland there is the medieval open air museum. which covers (Surprise, surprise) the medieval period! For some natural beauty go east to Møens Klint! Chalk formations with LOADS of fossils in the cliffs (But DON'T try to dig them out! you can risk the cliff collapsing on you! The fossils are on the beach washed out by erosion!)! If you're felling bold (And of course have the time!), then continue to Fyn! Just on the other side of the the Great Belt Bridge is the town of Nyborg (Yeah, it translate to New Castle ...), and old town which also used to be a court town in the early medieval period! Don't skip out on H. C. Andersen's place of birth in Odense (There is a fairly new museum there!). Further west you get to Middelfart (Yeah! It's getting old! it has NOTHING to do with smelly gasses!). It's the gateway to Jylland ... And SO much more to see and explore! Get to it! ^^

I highly recommend visiting some of Denmark's impressive castles, none of which are in Copenhagen. Frederiksborg Castle is my favourite.

In Helaingør you just park at the Marina, it’s a 3 minute Wall to the castle from there.

You should try the south of Fyn. It is called Det sydfynske øhav. if you come back. Especially Ærø. It is very fairy tale-like.

Hm, you did not visit our Kings castle? Be there by 11:30 am cause the royal guard shift looks like it a “tourist teater” by it happens every day at noon, the march though the city along with the royal guards music corps from the Rosenborg castle to Amalienborg castle, and they are soldiers in the danish army but it mostly conscripts, but with armed rifles, who protect the king and his family 24/7 At Rosenborg castle you go to the vault in the basment and see the crown jewels, that the royal family does use at gallas.

In the casemates of Kronborg, there is stature of Ogier the Dane/Holger Danske a legendary paladin Legends say he is sleeping, and will wake up if Denmark is in trouble/invadet You should go see Roskilde cathedral, it is the burial Church of the royal Family, there 37 known royal graves + 3 more suppouse to be buried there too

In the chapel of Fredrikborg castle, there a lot of Escutcheons, but one is missing “Herman Görings”, they are made when someone is given the “Order of the Dannebrog” Rumours says that it was stolen or someone took it and throw it in the moat

When you go to Kronborg, I hope you don't miss out on visiting the Cannon Tower and the Casemates too, there's a lot more to see than just the royal apartment and the chapel. It looks like you visited on a sunshiny day, looks good! :)

Yes, DK is very much more than CPH. Try Funen, Jutland and not to forget the island Bornholm. Bornholm is the real gem in DK. Danes, Swedes and Poles know it. Real island vibes. BTW, in Aahus they have a deer park too. Here you can actually walk among the deers and hand-feed them.

the longest domestic flight in denmark is 1 h 15 minutes, which is the seasonal flight between billund airport in jutland and the island of bornholm.....

In front of Kronborg, in an old Drydock from the former Helsingør Shipyard, or actually outside the dock, is a fine Maritime Museum! I have also sailed in a Ferry between islands in Malta and this one was built in Helsingør.
