Dude progetto 46 after the "buff" doesnt need 4 slots, not that before the "buff" needed it anyway... Before WG rewarked italian mediums my progetto was lacking a bit of view range, now I'm rocking 460-470 meters, becouse they buffed reload of the gun when they removed gun rummer from it. So you get all dpm, view range and gun handling you need. unless you want to have "ferrari" progetto and put turbo on it, progetto is THE BEST tier 8 medium tank... It's even better then 274a. So idk what you talkingabout...

@@Ulyssess1990 dude what he meant is when progetto 46 was "nerfed" and it cant use the rammer anymore... its reload speed is as if it is using one. So its like having 4 equipment slots. 😊

@@Desolator-ny7cb Yes, reload speed on Progetto was buffed to compensate for lack of ability to mount gun rammer. So yeah, basically Progetto comes with a rummer as "standard" - with 3 additional equipment slots... (tbh. it is kinda BS policy not to nerf premium tanks. It only breaks the game even more as time passes).

This holds more 107mm ammo than the kv-4. Yeah seems legit, also has the same rof as the kv-4 with the same damage and penetration.

Wow, I hadn't even noticed that. I noticed everything else about the gun was the same as the KV-4's, but getting more shells than the much larger tank (KV-4 is more than twice as big) is just stupid.

@@overlord4404 Most of the tanks in WoT are interwar or WW2 tanks anyway with some postwar tanks in higher tiers (like Pattons, Bulldog, Sheridan, T-62, T-10), and many of those are very historically inaccurate due to balance (and probably development) issues.
@@overlord4404 well, TDs means in WoT anything with a big gun or without a turret. Irl the T110E4 and T110E3 were a heavy tank concept, like the T95. Another example is the Strv 103B, which is in real life a main battle tank. So it doesn't really matter if something was in real life a tank destroyer or not, since they're vague about what makes a TD a TD. Also the Object 268, the Taran (turreted Russian TD), the FV4005 and some other tanks were postwar TD concepts, since in the early cold war massive tank onslaughts were expected in Europe.

Note: for me the SU-130PM was the most blatant example. They can't handle other nations to have popular/good/unique tanks.

@@DanielGomez-bn4yc yea and they don't even have a turret-TD line (since the 268 5 is China only). It was just that the Skorpion was one of the most popular Prem-Tanks, so they needed a Russian version. I would still prefer the Skorpion though.

@@reeda7681 Well, T44 (and some classic tanks) with 190 mm of pen nowdays are completely absolete. Simply, since the wg guys added tanks like the VK 100.01p, the maubrecher or the TS-5, the classic tanks with low penetration values are becoming unusable (Fully Upgraded T-44 = 190mm of pen 🤮, T 43 = 160mm, and more).
The only way is using premium ammo, those rounds are the only ones who work.

T-44-100 excels at a very different playstyle though.
It's more of a mid to long range sniper that can flank and assassinate late game.
Unless top tier, then it can do whatever the hell it wants.
Point is, this is more toward the 430U than toward the 140 in terms of playstyle I think.
@@Mystro84 I think its gameplay on heavy flank will be more similar to 277 since its also pretty unreliable while sidescraping but has an very powerful turret. Dunno why they gave it 390 m view range, it just doesnt fit does it xd

I mean, we have the polish Listard, why not have a better russian version of it? Bcz we all know soviets always had superior technology, no russian bias at all
And ofc its prem, bcz if you dont pay u get shit like T44 with 190 pen and 250 alpha with 190 turret armor. But if u pay, u get 320 alpha, 227 base pen, 289 pen (the top 107 on the KV-4 basically, but with better dpm), better dpm and good enough turret armor to take 340 heat. Well... you’re pretty much right, but the t44 is a good tank, I like my t44.
...but not compared to premium tanks... I feel like this game is like capitalism, we always need new things to be better, always faster, stronger etc, so old things become obsolete very fast. And premium tanks are those things...

Quickbaby makes a point about sluggish gun handling but excellent everthing else - they become extremely OP tanks once you get a decent crew. Did you even watch the video? The Defender and IS3A, 430 all have shitty gun handling but are somehow some of the best tanks for their tier? You don't know shit about the game obviously. If you want good gun handling, go play the Leopard or Progetto and get raped by anything with your shit armor.

I ran into one of these last night, without thinking about it too hard I was able to pen it in the upper plate using standard ammo in my Obj 252. Like most other tanks we will usually figure out how to take them out.
the end quetions of QB should add soviet at the end, something like this:
why every soviet tank needs to have more alpha than other premiums
why every soviet tank needs to be faster than any other tank
why every soviet tank needs to have better armor than any other tank
in other words... the maps are getting more suited for the soviet tanks, while other nations have good tanks they just cant fight as the same lvl with the russian tanks

Not only russian premium tanks are superior, on the last two years new premium tanks (VIII to below) have been superior in a lot of aspects (alpha, standart penetration and some times view range). Premium tanks are ruining most of the games.

A couple years late, but another good piece of equipment imo is the additional grousers instead of the turbo. That helps it get up to speed on rough terrain.
a small tip for those who might find it helpful, check your service record in game and sort by tier, now for each tank use this formula:- (games played in tank) ÷ (high calibers in that tank) this will tell you how many games on average you need to get a high caliber in that tank. use this to figure out which one of your tier 9/10 tanks do you play the best for this mission. for me its the T30, I have twice as many High Calibers in it than in the E4 on average

All too often, the one's trying to give those directions don't actually know what they are doing, and if you listen to them you just end up paying for their muppetry. Of course, if I saw that it was QB giving the direction, I might be inclined to listen...

Ehh, I often can't hit the broad side of a barn in my isu-152. I'd like to know what kind of voodoo magic people are using to make that gun accurate.
There's a thing called sigma. Standard diviation. Your maximum dispersion (the value WG tells you) can be a kilometer at 100 m but if your sigma is good enough you will still hit 99% of your shots.
Just makes me sad how blatant WG is milking their loyal P2W unicorns.
Last game nice played QB (EBR did well too) !! Well when a flank is in major, if they push hard, is good !!

I am using the NEW Exp EQ Mobility with a Turbo Directive which frees a slot up in place of the Vstabs. Don't have field mods yet but that could also change everything!

You can get a little bit more performance boost if you put vents in the 1st slot.

Gj QB!! I appreciated especially the equipment part (10:20,13:00), i will go for, in order, turbo, bond vents and vert stab (i tend to minimize the problems then hardly push on advantages).
Ohhh...and as usual holy words about "altius citius fortius" world of tanks (29:00). We know there are probably some "strategical economic" reason for WG but when will enough be enough?

Something QB didn't mention is that there is a huge weak point on the mantlet. Just above the gun there is a round, flat part that is 200mm (flat) so when the tank is using it's gun depression just shoot that round part

I'd rather have a T-44-100 (hope we get it in the advent calendar this year). Not going to burnout on the marathon for a slow tank with a derpy gun. I like fast, accurate, glass cannons for my style of play.
QB, please look again, because heat doesn't have normalization you need about 330 heat pen to have 50/50 chance of going through its upper plate when this tank is using all of its gun depression . I think it will be very op.

Great, another op af soviet tank. This is literally a tier 9 tank, it even has better pen than a t54 and, arguably, better or same armor. It's just a tier 9 taken down to tier 8.
QB is making it look better than it really is.
You get nice pen, but trash accuracy and gun handling equal to tier 5 derp gun with 1k silver per shell.
You get really good armour but only in you are in a perfect hulldown position, which doesn't happen often and wide hull with "shoulders" makes side-scraping almost impossible (enemies will see your hull way before you will able to point your gun at them).
Mobility is simply bad. This tank struggles to go above 40 km/h, unless you are driving on hard terrain. T54 prot has both better armour and mobility.
If you pay attention, QB does nothing special in those battles that wouldn't be possible in CS-52 or Lansen. If fact, he would probably perform better in them than in 274a because of better mobility, gun depression and significantly better gun performance.
The hull isn't nearly as good
Its not that good as it seems....the gun handling is not good and mobility is not even close to t54...
It's not even close to t54 in any other aspect except maybe armor
I tried Improved Rotation Mechanism, Vertical Stabilizer and Improved Aiming. Performed like a dream :)
Just a hint to the free to players... ise quicky's equipment but dont use the food if u want the credits, instead use speed limitation. This way you keep your 3 equipment slots but have ingame the option to boost your speed a little bit
I think if you put ventilatcion whit rotation mecanism and turbo you have a good build

Remember its a Russian tank so aid hidden bonuses like +accuarcy, +dmg, +armor, +to accuarcy on shots on the move, + to bounce, and then boost it even more with yelling "Russia" each time u shot.
You should put the vents on that in the first line instead of rammer. Vents gets a buff from the mobility slot (and all slot types) where the rammer doesnt
He used bounty equipment which doesn't get that buff.
I am actually glad that shot on the M44 missed as that was me in the T20, that game got me a campaign mission done from shooting and killing the arty, so personally I was happy about that :)
Why i feel this medium tank have more armor than the tier 9/10 italian heavy?
Should have compared it to the type 59. For starters, the 274's standard rounds are better than the type 59's gold rounds.
the gun mantlet just above the turret its round shape, but flat at front, and it is a weakspot with 200 mm of armor, well only for tier8.
Object 274A is a Pornotank, look at the casting number on the back of the turret.
how do you get the bushes to disappear when you zoom in? and how did you shoot through your teammate at 13:32? i need to be able to do that too
Talking about russian tanks: if the shell goes right into the center of the aiming circle (and QBs shells really went right there), the gun handling and soft stats dont mean anything. If I was in the same situation in my Leo PTA I would miss at least third of my shots.
I always use improved aiming instead of vertical stabilizer what’s your opinion on using that equipment ?

I've already played a couple games in it and for me, I feel like the acceleration is a bit off for some reason. It could just be me but it feels like it was a slow acceleration compared to some tech tree and premium tier VIIIs

Question. Do you read the reload as number of second per shot Or number of shots per minute? I ask this because the reload time is Longer then the other tanks being compared, therefore it doesn't make sense for the the faster shot rate.. Hummm?????

Hey Quicky, could u suggest me which tank to buy with bonds ? I am a free to play player would love to have a tier 8 premium tank, but dont know which of them is worth it, by the way love your content :)
depends on what your preferred playstyle/class is. Bought the STG Guard and the Patriot with bonds. The Guard focuses (in my opinion) on a rather defensive playstyle, due to his low-profile nature and his high-alpha and good penetration characteristics. However, its DPM is atrocious, so dont get involved in duels. Its turret armor is alright, but its hull armor is absolutely abysmal, which increases my point further as to why this tank plays more like a mobile Tank Destroyer. Howver i can make it and I have fairly good games in it, but you need patience in it. Its not for agressive plays, in that case I would rather recommend the Patriot. If you are unsure what tank to choose, watch the Tank-Reviews from QuickyBaby, he has done a Tank Review on any of the tanks available in the bond shop I guess.

In the tank comparison, why does the the T-44-100 have the worst effective tank traverse on soft terrain (17), when it has the best tank traverse (51) and the best terrain resistance on soft terrain (1.50)?
You missed the round bit above the gun, its flat and only 200mm thick so even if you are hull down at closer ranges people can just pen that.
On Module setup: Turbo is not the best choice in regards to the kind of ok power2weight and listed top speed and the bad ground resistances, even on hard worse than other tanks on medium. this is one of the typical tanks where grousers does wonders, supporting the top speed and also the rotation rates on the hull. grousers make this tank more mobile than a turbo ever will be able to do

Feel like this tank is a tier 8 t34 85m , bit better fighting capability, armor layout without a big mobility downside compare to most other mediums

Feels like a mix of a T-54 and a 110, something that we should not see in a tier VIII medium... This is like bringing the Obj430 from tier X to tier IX, this will not make things better.
