dude, that's not a buff. The improved armour won't do anything, the gun is even MORE inaccurate with only 30 shells total, the agility buff can't be felt, and there are SO many more powerful, adequate, or just plain better choices for tanks. A medium tank can do better than that. Also, the Object 140 is getting an armour buff that will make its hull armour stronger than the IS-4, and that thing is a super agile and accurate medium tank.
The buff to the 140 is just line of sight values aka how much it's worth versus HEAT in game so no it won't be stronger than the IS-4s armour since that's rated at 310mm LOS in game at the moment and the Object 140s is only going to 270 LOS.

Reminds me of my best IS4 game ever when it was tier 9 and I was standing alone against 10 opponents (admittedly mostly 7's and 8's, however I had taken out the tier 9's) and went on to win, with people on my team trying to help in chat and screaming about how OP the IS4 was (which it was at tier 9). Gads I loved it and am loving it again, partly because it's like people have forgotten where to shoot it.

My IS4 had been gathering dust, but in the last week, I've been enjoying doing exactly what I sued to do with it at tier 9 and ram it down people's throats in Randoms and it's definitely much improved..

@@slimrock Can't afford to use the formerly "free-trade" equipment. I rarely used anything but binocs, tool kit, and camo net. Now they cost to remove, and gold is hard to come by. Bonds are as well, and I can't afford the credits to use tier 10s much.
@@Quenstar Do you have any premium tanks from tier 5 to 8? I believe that they have given them away. I have won a lot of them watching give away videos and doing the ingame challenges/campaigns. You really don't need premium if you are willing to have one or more of those to farm credits, than at 1.5 mil get the equipment. You can play T10 if you balance it with premium gold tank play. Believe me the T10s are not all that with butter. Take some of the credits that you have and use them on tanks equipment instead or tiering up. I promise the tanks with equipment are more enjoyable to play than those without. Also why ever put binocs or camo net on an IS-4? Like an elephants painting his toenails to hide in grass.

WOT PC should do what Blitz has done, and that’s to nerf premium ammunition. Nerfing premium ammo in damage means that P2W people would be less effective in battle. They would pay the money to penetrate more shells, but would also pay the price of doing reduced damage. For example, in blitz, a t57 heavy usually outputs 1200dmg in one clip (3 shot instead of 4), but if it spams prammo it would only average around 1020dmg in a clip (340 dmg per heat shell instead of 400).
Played 3 matches today in mine. 3500 damage average and even managed to take down an E-100!!! Didn't win a single match in it though, when you're outnumbered 3 or 5 to 1 some things are just inevitable.
Hadn't played my IS 4 in a long time, took it out for a spin yesterday and immediatly got Union 15 for the Chimera done, the accuracy definitly hurts a little bit but it plays a lot better now, just need to bump up that ammo capacity for carry potential
Still can't believe they removed the f5 command that was really stupid. I can't even really communicate in battle now. Its a lot more complicated than before.
This buff I have waited for. I didn't research this because 2 years ago WG have promised IS-4 will get a buff. Even using stock gun I made 2k avarage and realized there is a top gun. It's flying now. Definitely it is not an OP vehicle.
I've only played two games with the buffed IS4 so far, with the result that one was the best game ever, even though it ended in a draw. The old IS4 was deplorable, always missed everything, always got penned by everything bigger than L-Traktor, so I'm very happy with the new specs.
QB the EU server must be a LOT different to the SEA SERVER. It's about 75% gold rounds over here. I almost fell off my chair when you mentioned gold rounds in pubbies.
Im using the improved configuration "bond version". Very rare to get module damage like engine or ammoracks, pretty awesome module to use. Can recomend it.
The IS4 can't up front brawl when it still has that 30mm engine deck. WG insists on adressing everything other than issue. The IS4 also still has that 30 round ammo load, with worse accuracy. The IS-4 has less effectice armor than some mediums with substantially less ammunition and even poorer gun handling.
QB, can you show up your equipments that used in tank in game? Because new equipments make the game more strategy, so i want to look at your strategies who is a pro player of WoT. Thank you.
Tried to grind the IS-4 recently, it wants me to research the IS-3 first to get the BL-9, combined with the idiotic costs i just gave up and returned to the other game

I know this isn’t really the game to care about realism in, but I don’t like when Wargaming makes up false armor thicknesses and/or speed limits on vehicles. I’m fine with them messing around with other statistics like with gun handling and I guess traverse stuff, but armor is one of those things that should be kept realistic to what the vehicle had IRL. Maybe I’m old fashion, but with them adding a bunch of made up vehicles and also changing fundamental things on real vehicles to make them unrealistic, I went away from this game because it just wasn’t the same anymore. I’m even fine with prototype tanks being in the game that were never built but had blue prints or were started on production, but just completely making up vehicles kind of upset me. I still love QB though for who he is so that’s why I still watch his videos lol.

haven't played my is4 for 5 years --- only had 13 battles and sold it so i could get a different tier 10, i might have to buy it back

This sounds lovely. Sidescraping heavies are my favourite kind, and with these buffs I can now enjoy tier ten sidescraping gameplay like never before!
My fav kind are those hull down ones, Is7 is okay but tanks like T30, T29, T34 are my favorite as long as you're able to hide your hull

The e100 is a super heavy yet it has one of the highest dpm in a heavy its like 3250 dpm. Its crazy
The only thing this tank really needed is a mobility buff, it is too slow to be good
