Welcome to WoT Scout's life. You often got TKd, while having something bonkers like 5k+ spotting, because the idiot TD on your team thought that if you didn't suiscout, that you are not spotting anything... And that those enemies outside of their maximum view range are magically spotting themselves...

@@nenadpopov3601 Skorp G on my team died and he bitched at me in my FV4202 for not going into the forward bush to spot. I showed him exactly what would happen if i went into the bush he told me to go into, which was obviously insta death. He then said, "why did you go into that bush. There could have been other bushes."

Nope. Still arty players, EBRs impact arty and base campers and that is a good thing, far too easy to hard core camp base these days like and EBRs counter that.
@@tajj7 Problem is, EBR does not only counter base camping.. it denies passive scouting at all and it has very low skill cap compared to other scouts. Its so forgiving.. half of shots that hits you gets absorbed by wheels / gun => no dmg.. and the speed and turn rate gets you out of almost every bad situation...

@@DRFTNJA idk dude, i can atleast hit 100 and reliably do dmg, but a hit on ebr is a miracle and even if i hit it 80% its a critical dmg to the wheels

You have no idea how much I'm struggling with the tier 8, so to think the hell I still have to go through to get the tier X can be 10x times worse just gives me goosebumps.

To be fair, I think these maps were relatively nice for light tanks. On most maps being any lighttank is just putting yourself at a huge disadvantage.
Im new to wot. Im really struggling in them corridor maps. It is like a walled street with no where to go.

Those 'folks' need to be less shit, the EBR wasn't even that strong, people happily abuse 430Us, 279es, Type 5s when it was OP, Bobject is still OP, Progettos for days being far too strong and then lose their shit over the EBR, when 95% of the playerbase do shit in an EBR but then complain its OP, even though they can't get it to work and any half decent player with decent aim can deal with EBRs no issue.
@@tajj7 It's not that the wheelies are OP. It is the fact they make a clusterF*ck out of everything. Basically Suiscouting with a great chance of survival. I suppose if your camping in the back then yes (any half decent player with half decent aim) can take out an EBR with no issue. For the rest of us in the mix of the field its not so easy and besides they just keep on going if you hit them.
@@tajj7 Dude, the EBR wrecks games. They can get to spots faster than any other lights and freeze entire flanks. Their hit box / speed / turn ability makes them impossible to hit for tanks on the move just trying to get to their first spot which basically freezes entire flanks especially if you have 2 or 3 arty in the game. Listen to what Q says.. "if you get to this spot there is nothing the enemy team can do".
@@speedmanxx LOL I don't base camp, they are easy to deal with, just aim properly, any tier 9/10 med or heavy with decent gun handling is able to do it. If we adjust the game for everyones lack of skills in every area what is left of the game? Very little, the game should punish lack of skills and offer counters to certain tanks, EBRs do that, against TDs and arty, or derpy tanks, they provide a counter, to heavies and meds with good guns they are little real threat.
From that position on Malinovka, I've done 8k spotting at T7...

You know it won't be a good match when you have the north spawn and sbdy uses that position who knows how to use it well... It is extremely difficult to counter without doing a suicide move.
Suggestion for light tanks on malinovka. Don’t do the scouting run in the big field (but still do the play that quackybaby did) Rush up to the hill and catch the enemy heavies and mediums off guard. There are bushes on both sides that you can hide in (they are near the map borders). This will most likely make the heavies stop, which gives your heavies control of the hill
This also works with a Batchat 25t

These "vehicles" in this game are an insult to all that gaming stands for. They are science fiction (they corner faster than a F1 car) and they are block shots like a Tier 7 heavy.
When i find myself in MM where Formula 1 vehicles are over reppresented i commit suicide in protest. Yes and i do it proudly cause i came here to play a game which i pay for not to have my intelligence insulted.

@@psychozulu it is not remotely possible to turn 360 degrees into that tight circle even if it has 6 wheels, it should fling the vehicle as soon as it tries to cut sharp corners like that. Now I am not saying the game must have 100% realistic physics but, the limitation of the game should not provide this much advantage to one type of vehicle.
True that. In reality wheeled vehicles are very prone to flip as their center of gravity is very high and the wheelbase is quite narrow.
I was leaning into starting to play again, so I started to watch QB's videos. But then I saw the EBR replay and remembered why I stopped playing. The tank is still so annoying.
But that tank is in the tech tree.
You can drive them to bully people instead of crying about being bullied by it.

yeah ebr with a good skill and a player who knows where to spot will change the tides.. i experienced it alot. from 8-1 then we lose at the end

@Alaric Galbraith I mean yes it is a good idea but whenn they dont focus fire, get picked apart for peeking and those 7 or 8 that hold the flank allow the rest of team to collapse on them only to get shredded its sad, also i havent called anything retarded.
Last night researched ruski light X. T-54 ltw with all skills,consumables and items was awesome great .
This is what i hate about the game. You need to have the best crew, premium consumable, bonned equipmen an so on in order to compeate.
Thats just in ranked mainly. Thats why I dont play it. You dont need all this stuff to be successfull in random battles.
and matchamaking today i raged so fking much i played my panther i got tier 9 s they bullyed me i could do shit i know panther is good tank but when u are free2play its everyting hard..

that spotting from D5 on malinovka was disgusting.. those guys had literally no idea there was a spotter right in front of them O_O
Reminds me a bit of how I used to play my VK2801 at tier 6, although it was funny seeing how long you could hold your nerve sitting in a bush with a net on whilst tanks get closer and closer. Still holds by far my highest XP in one battle at over 2,800 before any multipliers..
CVS is basically the differentiator between lights and mediums now. Meds have better armor, better gun, better vision and sometimes just as good camo. BC-25t in the past has always been regarded as the best light in the game, as a medium. Now lights (other than wheelies) have reasons to exist, to abuse the camo and vision. Sure mediums can have CVS as well, but most will not do the trade off.
I like all the new equipment for light tanks. Mediums can have the same view range (base value). I felt like on most maps medium sitting in bushes were doing scouting the same as light would do, but medium were also shooting faster/better and had more hp and armor.
Spam around at high speed in EBR is the pro tip. Well I would but I put Santa in my T67.

QB is so good at playing. Wish i can play like this. I can't even win a match so sad
bushes in h2-h3 are situational but even stronger with the commanders vision system. I've used them for more than a year depending on the team line up and nobody expects them, if you don't spot anyone you can do a fast flank since the other side is completely open and it leads to massive games
(high camo lights only, don't try it if enemy team has unspotted wheelies or a couple of other lights that can equip the CVS)
ebr's are not real light's. they should be removed, they ruin the game for real light take users and everyone else.

Exactly right. Remember when they nerfed light tanks because they were controlling the game so much and heavies couldn't push. Decreased speed and vision. Then this things come along.

Sheridan is best for maximising that derp lunacy. The wz132-1 is a more rounded tank and the pz waggon is more of a high mobility sniper, with the manticore a pure ninja sniper
No really sure that an incredibly skilled player using a completely broken 'tank' is really much of an achievement.

EBRs are quite outrageous. They shouldn't have entered the game aswell.
7:42 - fucking love this position. Although I'd never risk driving there so early in the game.
I feel like the comander's vision system is a good addition to lights who finally get some love, I also use the radio on ebr so I don't need to risk my hp so much to keep tanks spotted and in my opinion camo net is a must for tracked lights, you outspot anything if still ( counters the commander's vision system other lights may have)
From now on and all future videos: Down a shot every time QB says "decent distances"

well these are the games he shows us - I don't expect him to have only played these two battles but MUCH more in all possible constellations to be fair.
Manti + CVS, Bond Optics & Exhaust + Food + Santa + Camo directive = 511m VR and 50% camo.
I am a complete potato but I am gunning (spotting?) for my 2nd MoE, something I could never dream of doing in my other Tier 10s.
Me and a couple friends were talking about how the commanders vision system could be nerfed to make it not as op and we came up with the idea that it should work like binocs and only activate after sitting still for a certain amount of time

I just don’t understand why they give them ok view range when you max it out and why they have such good accuracy on the move it’s so stupid and high pen HE is cancer
QB pls test the commanders Vision system in the training room. Mailand did that and it turned out to be not very effektiv. Its after all only taking 20% off the Bush camorating. The Low noise exhaust system how ever can get an ebr Up to 54% camo, which means you can Close the distance for spotting extremly. That would be my Go to Equipment on the high camo Lights.

the T-100 LT is one of those things a mad cientist designs but when they actually try to make it real it simply cannot work, but this is a game and so everything can be done, at least if it is a Soviet design

Personally I use the same equipment but still have Vent in first slot so your dpm doesnt suffer as bad but still get excellent spotting.
I think the Commander's Vision System is a brilliant addition, at least in terms of historical accuracy. The Germans were starting to use Infrared Vision in WWII and most of the Tier IX and X tanks that actually existed historically had early infrared systems. Why should bushes work against infrared?
@QuickyBaby important! Your opinion on the Commanders Vision System is unfortunatly not quite true. I have watched Mailand testing the equipment and interesting news have come to light. All the CVS does is reducing the base camo value of the bush used by the enemy RELATIVLY not absolutely. Simple calculation: Tank has 10% base camo and uses a bush that provides 50% additional camo: makes 60% camo, a scout that uses CVS will reduce the bush camo by 20% i.e the bush is now 40% and with the base 10% of the tank CVS reduces the overall camo of a tank from 60% to 50% not more! The better the camo of a tank the less effective this module becomes. Also there are 2 types of bushes, bushes with leaves (50%) and bushes without leaves (25%) if a tank uses a bush without leaves the bush value of 25% gets reduces by 20% i.e 5% making it 20% efficient. If the tank using the bush has a lot of camo, say 30% CVS will reduce the overall camo from 55% down to 50%, that is not overtuned! However wg has kinda failed their description of this module. Finaly words: CVS is not OP it is more or less totally useless.

When I face an EBR being an absolute terror the lights on my team are typically hiding in a bush near the TDs.
Best thing about wheeled vehicles is now there is less hate directed towards arty players.
If the maps were two or three times bigger then yes, but at the current map situation EBR's doesn't have place in this game and by removing them WG will give a "breathing space" to the other lights tanks.
My best spotting is in prkorofka 9300 whit the batchat 12t
I have the CVS in my EVEN 90 and I can tell you: it's absolutely disgusting how it can lit up tanks so damn easy. I sometimes use the EVEN 90 as passive scout with binocs and sometimes I use it with Coated Optics. I've got more than 10k spotting both ways in Phororovhka. It's completely broken, I consider the CVS the most game breaking equipment 2.0 WG has put in this game, it accelerates the games even further. It feels completely unfair how I can spot through 8-10 bushes some tanks but at least the draws have become less common.
I play on Xbox and I just had my best game ever in the t100lt last night. Like I mostly play super heavies like the E3 and whatnot but I got the light tank for shits and giggles. I was on malinovka and did 2k damage with 3 kills and over 8500 spotting. It was the most fun I ever had in a light tank

It takes a while, but after they've laid on the bottom of the nearest lake for a while, about half does generally rust away.
This game needed a way to counter bushes. Way too many sneaky tanks that can stay invisible in bushes. However I also think that equipment is too much, or rather too easy.
IMO binocular telescope should have been the anti-bush option, working only when the vehicle using it is standing still, and only working where you aim the gun, or where you look.
Good question is, what's the point playing in any tier9 and 10 light tank when there is EBR ....
Part of the reason I quit playing WoT's is because of EBR's. And I honestly don't miss the game or EBR's, gold rounds ect

Hey, Quackybaby I know you are not going to be able to see this comment, but what I want to say is that thanks for all your awesome Wot videos it really helped me a lot in the Battlefield and you also helped me in my tough times in my life once again thanks for your awesome vids see you in the battlefield.
Damn those last 3 spots in the first game were straight through completely solid bushes. At hundreds of yards in some cases. Ridiculous. You shouldn't have a mechanic that directly counters someone trying to play skillfully.
Never noticed CVS (on T49) make any difference at all. Still a jinxed bullet-magnet.
Instead of trying to nerf the view range (yet somehow failing, mainly affecting those who skimp on equipment and food) they should just make it loose 0.8 degree turning radius for every 1% speed it gains. It would still get to position quick with good camo yet driving in front of the enemy team spotted would send you back to garage as it should be.
But wheelies have such a shitty VR thay they need to drive in front of the tanks to spot them.
When I use that bush on Malinovka in my type 64, I always get rushed by a TD or a medium.....I think TDs on the other side like to sit in that bush too
I was thinking maybe WG should add a mechanic that increases your XP for spotting if u spot over a certain amount, say 4-5k. That way people who are actually scouting and making a difference will get better XP, like QB with his 12k spotting yet only 1377 XP, it's good XP but should be more.
I say over a certain amount because people sometimes get spotting even though the enemies could have been spotted by a lot of other people, just that person got it first. They didnt really help the team in spotting but still get xp for it. What do u think?
How about some epic medals for spotting? Like high caliber but for spotting/assist. Assist on 6 kills and you get a spotting top gun and so on.

Dear Quickybaby. i love the videos. You have been doing a great job for a long time. i have a question. is there somewhere that a player can ask a question to the WoT devs?. I've been playing for a long time and there are things that happen in the game that drive me CRAZY. Id like to know if there is a rational explanation to some of these issues or if the game is broke and not worth getting frustrated about. any advice is appreciated.

Wheeled is not a Light tank. It's a class of its own...
The EBR in the second game saved you, he gave them the reason they were spotted and ran away. You perma-spotted and they did not notice you.

Light tanks should know if there being actively spotted and a timer that would let you know when your no longer spotted. (Before I stick my nose out again. Counting to ten Mississippi doesn’t work all the time.)

Dominating in a normal light isn't easy. Dominating in an EBR is just easy.
After all the "nerfs" still a gamebreaking unneded tank.
To kill those "active scouts" that love flying around the map do this. Lock on with target lock and let your gun follow him. When he starts turning that's when you shoot and you'll hit him as he's going away or coming towards you. Either way your computer will have your gun centered on his vehicle when he lines up straight with you and you'll hit him. Also, even though premium ammo isn't needed on most lite tanks, it has a faster velocity and you'll be less likely to miss or only bounce off his armor at longer ranges. You're welcome.
And the gun dispersion?
@@SeraphinoII If you're chasing him then it's not advisable unless you're fairly close, as dispersion would cause mostly misses. But, if you're stationary and have decent turret traverse with 3.8 dispersion or better then you're good for medium to long ranges. At closer ranges you might have to turn your tank to help your gun track him. At longer ranges your gun doesn't have to travel as fast or as far to keep up as it does at closer ranges. I've killed them at the outside edge of a 900 meter signal range like this, but I've also missed and gave away my location at 50 meters because I didn't turn my tank to follow him. Each tank will react differently given it's limitations and only by trying it will you know if it works for that particular tank. It works good for most light and medium tanks, but not so well for most heavies and TD's. Good luck and hope this helps.

Can you please play some tier X tanks that aren't very good? Something like the WZ-132-1, the Obj 268, or Amx 30B. I feel like I am constantly washed down by all of these videos about the EBR, 277, Chieftain, 140, 907, etc. I would like to see you dominating in tanks that aren't very good because I honestly think that it's more fun to dunk on kids in 279's and 907's with garbage tanks.

There are a few bulldogs in-game. Old bulldog had 10x150 auto loader.
Just wondering how much concealment percentage I will need to stay in that place of second place without getting spotted.
I want to see all light tanks have enhanced auto aim in side wot.
