These Italian tanks show how the Foch B would perform if it had armor.
The foch B isn't even close to these tanks wtf are you talking about. That's like saying this shows how the Progetto 46 would perform if it had armor. Both tanks are different in almost every single way
@@itsgingervitis69 Yea it's damage is better but it's armor is shit it has 6 shots and deals 2400, it's comparable except the turret, but if the foch had same armor it would basically be the same thing with a little less alpha and full clip damage, Foch has 2400 and Italian has 2650 i think, but the foch does 2400 in 10 seconds so it would be even worse than these tanks now, but Foch is shit so yea they had to make a better one.

If Foch had that kind of armor it would basically be identical except the turret, I like how people jump to conclusions without thinking.

Agree. my TS-5 set-up has reload of 6.4s, can side scrape which you can hide its lower plate to a degree. It would be interesting to see a duel between the two of under the hands a equally good tankers.

With so many tanks with strong turrets that do best when hull down there's going to be a shortage of good places to go hull down.
Once we have all bought hull down monsters WG will remove all the hull down spots. Then the whole scamming cycle starts again with a different meta.
ANd wit HE nerfed into the grave, their is nothing to dig them out anymore. Matches are going to end up being stalemates

When its sidescraping, i found that you can shoot it in the top of the engine pretty reliably
when its hull down facing you you can shoot below the tracks like t95

It really has become shocking witnessing just how unbalanced and broken this game has become over the last 3-4 years.
I left this game 5 years ago and back then, it was already well broken once tier 10 medium was introduced.

Although the game is not perfect, this review does not show it is broken. It shows game play of a *NEW* tank that few people know the weak points of. This tank will not become the new meta. Six months from now it will not even feature in the top damage dealers because it actually has massive weak points. If you are above it, shoot the top of the turret. If you are below it, shoot the lower lower plate or up above the tracks. If you are in front of it, track and flank. SPG's will deal damage if they hit the turret or rear. QB is showing of the best of the best match ups which normally happens with new premium tanks. You get to be top tier for about a week and then it is normal MM for you. Tier X firing premium rounds, which everybody does, will eat this "assault" TD alive. Watch and see.

I think WG completely messed up the classes. Instead of making these "TD"s as heavy tanks and those so called Italian heavy tanks converted to TDs
Maybe but it's not new, look at T110E4's line. Not every TD should camp at the back of the map it's ok to have variety but not OP pls
I started playing World of Tanks on 09/03/2012 and yesterday I finally uninstalled the game, albeit with a heavy heart. After watching your video on the new Italian TDs, I wanted to see if they were really as OP as the stats were making it out to be. So, I hopped in one of my old time favorites, the E 75, and was immediately pummeled into dust without being able to do anything about it. I've really slowed down on playing the game lately because I was getting a lot less enjoyment from it than in years past (what used to be fun is now just frustrating). Even after taking a several month break, this game just isn't fun to me anymore. Cudos if you still enjoy it, but as someone who remembers the hay days of this game (around 2014-2018 imo) it really breaks my heart to say goodbye to a game I've put thousands of hours into. I'll keep watching WOT content because I love the content you and other WOT content creators make and I still have hope one day the ship will be righted and the game will be fun again. ❤️
Same here. Played exclusively for over 5 years. Stopped last October because didn't like the way it was going. Played loads of other "fun" games. Tried tanks last week just to see. Nah, wasn't fun.. Maybe I just outgrew it.
@@auquitaine9201 Got into the Dark souls games (finished 1,2 almost finished 3, maybe will buy Elden Ring), also Battletech. I keep trying "Hell let loose" but it's hard to get into. I replayed CoH campaign and it is still a blast. Played some Destiny 2, Total Warhammer 3 & Red dead 2. Total price of these games was less than I put into Wot in my first 3 years. Depends on what game genre you like I suppose. WoT just made me forget that there are other great ones out there. I used to play WoT like it was a job...

So, armor-wise, it's essentially a 268 v4 with a turret and without the cupola.
XD, it's a good T110E4 with less alpha but can kill the T110E4 with the full clip.
Except tier 9-10 will eat it alive

It is not an E4 at all. The E4 exists because like the JGE100, it can pen just about anything that it looks at. This tank has shit pen and has to spam premium to pen most tanks and has shit accuracy so it cannot even pen same tiered heavy tanks. If this thing sees a T9-10 jap heavy it cannot pen it lmfao!
I received this tank as a gift for watching the WOT Twitch show last weekend. So far after some upgrades, I like it, it's fun to play, and right now I have been winning games with it. Thanks, QB, for the video, Mike, in the USA
The clip is actually much better in many situations than normal reloading tank, because if u get stunned or ammoracked ur reload stays 6 seconds always until the clip is emptied, but with normal tank ur reload would be horrendous
We need a Skoda T56 for every quarter report, how else are we going to keep the sales rising
Actually, THAT IS part of the heavy Juggeraut meta, it is just classified as a TD.
I guess they were trying to redeem themselves with the release of the Rinoceronte, but instead of buffing, they made another line with a Juggernaut armor and pretty much everything he needed to be good.
the tech tree counterpart is just as good and maybe even better, all of the italien TDs from Tier 7 on are really strong

I was playing a game on the live NA servers yesterday and saw a vipera on our team. Basically if you go hull down you’re invincible otherwise people will go through that hull.
Saw 3 or 4 today too
the hull has 220mm thick armor (not counting the angled boost)
No...only to tier 8 regular rounds...

I've had quite a few people tell me they watch over the years and are hard of hearing. I seriously think if you could prove to WG you have a registered disability they should be able to give you sound detection for free.

Thank you for this video. I am actually severely hearing impaired, that arty detection is very useful for me on some tanks.
Just a note, those shells the 50tp penetrated only worked because he shot into the front of the track. Angle a little more and the spaced armour that the track is will just absorb the shell with zero damage. People tend to shoot the visible part of the drive wheel when they can, even though because of the way the penetration mechanic works, shooting into the flat front is far better.

I always wonder what the reviews would look like without all the bond equipment, just standard stuff, and a 100% crew with no skills or just one maybe two, not a full skill crew.
The only important thing is that he test all tanks with the same equipment quality.
@@hanswurst6712 I have to disagree. Not that I am going to get one as I put wot on hold a year and a half ago. But when I stopped play most of the people I knew did not have any bond equipment (or maybe a single piece) or nine skill crews. So seeing what a tank can do with those attributes probably does not mesh with how your standard wot player will find its performance.
I agree. Most people don't have bond equipment. I would much rather see it being played without bond eq or if need be with both.
@@TheMoulie Upgrades and crew matters alot so stuff should absolutely be tested with the best equipment. while i dont actually play WoT i do play Warships. im gonna us the HMS Belfast(the t7 version) as an example. I remember playing it with a new commander so no skills or anything and i though the CC had overreacted with how op it was. then i got the commander to 10 points and could get concealment expert and my opinion did a 180 in the first game i played with the 10 point commander. So yeah stuff should get tested with the best gear and crew available

When you test with all the bells and whistles, many of which your average player will not have access to, then, yes, you are showing the vehicle at its best but how many people will be able to emulate that? By all means show the pinnacle that it can reach but don't delude people with just that view. Also show it without all the jazz, just standard 100% and maybe bia plus 50% on the next skill with standard shop equipment. Give people a more realistic view as well.

From my experience, this thing gets hit hard by SPG's (Usually around 250-500), It's roof can be penetrated with good HEAT rounds (As an example, its easy to counter this thing in medium range combat with the new CC-67 (300mm of HEAT pen.) But the accuracy really let's you down on multiple occasions, so i think I.A (Preferably Bounty) Is a must equipment for this tank. But it's laughable how hard you can outplay the rest of the tier 8 hull down tanks with this thing, as well as deal with higher tier opponents. Just find a ridge, stop and aim for enemy's weak spot (Cause they probably have one) and look at them aiming at you trying to figure out how they pen you. Then just keep baiting them to stay in the position they previously were. If there's a good player against you, use your burst damage as the advantage, they will A. Take it and most likely die, or B. they will run and still take a lot, while having little (close to 0) chance of penning you, usually giving you just more room to play with & ending up doing huge damage games because of the room you can achieve. The lower plate is also an absolute joke, yes it's weak, but so tiny that if you're close to enemies, they probably won't have enough gun depression to shoot you or they will just miss the shot because of the little size of the weak spot. The "under flaps" of the sides are a good weak spot, but you have no reason to show them while peeking (Usually...) You can also have "Passive impact" with this thing, just by being able to hold a ridge or a flank against multiple opponents because they cant pen you and if they're going to try to push you, they pay a lot for it or maybe even end up dying.
122 for example can just overmatch the roof

Amount of gold, fired at tank, is the reason, why it is in game now. No matter where WG puts test server, RU, EU, NA or on the moon, there will be more and more OP tanks in game, so folks get their credit cards and pay.

Basically it is a TS5 with less fire power but gains in armor when the lower plate is covered
And a Turret
5000dps when you are able to dictate when you fight is not less fire power, but I get what you are coming from.

The 3rd game was the best, in my opinion, there you can see:
1) By going a bit in front and separate a bit from your teammates, you create a focus fire on yourself; and the poor interest of your "friends" in defending you and working as a team for victory (they barely supported him and didn't even shoot the ELC). Lmao, as some people say, "there is no team in WoT, most of the time is a 29 vs 1"
2) I would kill to see where the is-3a, t-44-100 and the defender hit QB; they had a tough time dealing with him, QB even got shot from multiple angles and by more than 3 tanks... I think QB could have survived and slaughter them all with just a bit of support of his team; I believe that the defender pen because he was a bit more higher, so he had a better shot on QB's roof and the T44 was shooting there and maybe the left shoulder of the Vipera.
Let's be honest, that platoon (IS-3A and Defender) was scary back in the day, but vs a platoon of viperas they even seem underpowered HAHAHAHAHA. The IS-3A has no chance vs this td (I know It has the 122 mm gun, but the handling and depression of it is so bad that, rarely it willl hit the roof), and the Defender has armor, but the dispersion is bad, so not always it will hit the LOWER LOWER plate of the Vipera or overmatch the roof. WoT community was angry at the Kran, Chief, 279e, etc. I know those tanks are broken and OP, but at least those had cupolas (small but were there) and the new TD line has almost 0 turret weakspots (just take a look at Daki's video reaching more than 300k blocked)
This might be the end of WoT, AND WE HAVEN'T EVEN SEEN THOSE NEW K-2 AND UDARNITY (I've heard that the K-2 can't even pen itself becuase it has IS-4 armor in tier 8; and If you train a new soviet crew you can see those names in the tanks list). Fortunately I am used to not play this game much, since all of this farming simulator, MM, OP tanks, prem spam and more BS; now with the new line I am more than happy to stay way form it for another month(s). GL to everybody going against these things and happy hunting while possible!👍

I bought the Vipera because I thought it looked ridiculous and would match my Tog 2 and Sentinel tanks very well. In my opinion it is the perfect tank for someone who is not the best at remaining hidden while trying to snipe as its Armour offers some amazing protection. All in all in a game I have very little fun in, this tank is fun to play.
Super tester on the other team dropped into a match with one of these things when I was playing my AMX M4 45. He got 8 kills. Good times.

While I do understand, that "frontally strong tanks" bring up a lot of emotion, I sometimes can't hear the mimimi about those vehicles anymore. When I started playing, it was quite common knowledge, that barely any tank was really OP. Frontally strong vehicles were seen as invitation for teamplay and getting easily rid of them with two players willing to cooperate.
I am still grateful for every single time, when I witness coordinated teamplay to clear a situation that became trendy to be called "OP tank mimimi". Surprisingly I meet way more players on the newer side or with below average winratio, who are willing to share HP, bring up active gameplay and enjoy the challenge.
No doubt, there will be enough situations, where I'll mimimi about this tank myself xD
One goes left and one pushes right whoever survives goes behind it and stays where the turret can't move. Vipera is weak as fuck if you play as a team, but this is world of tanks so people rather die and lose

Played a few battles in this thing. Definitely agree with the build set up. Gun handling is borderline horrible on long range maps. Managed to que in on some tier X matches. Yeah support role all the way. These things were flooding the MM. Great video QB. 👍🏻

I had an interesting encounter with this tank while playing in the char futur. I was able to put full mag in him but took 2 from him. Worth the trade? It hurts in the end

This looks like it's encouraging people to fire gold when driving it as its accuracy means you cant target weak spots and encourages people to fire gold against it as higher pen will go straight through it's armour, doesn't sound like fun for anyone.
Similar to what was mentioned about the Chrysler K, where it's armour needed gold, but so did it's gun (poor base pen).
thankfully 264 apcr isnt all that great for a premium round and it drops off pretty hard, 264 apcr pretty much just puts it on par with other TDs at that point, maybe even worse

I finally have a use for Cobra Commander
The line just got released and I've started from Tier VII and boy is that thing OP AF when MM is favorable ! The whole line feels broken. Intraclip reload time might suck, but the short reload really allows you to trick people into coming at you when they think you're dry and you still have two shells left to finish them off.

Just got this tank and 6 secs is way to long since it's an autoloader. But it does has decent armor . Definitely need a good crew , field mods , and bounty equipment to have decent matches it ... and oh yea TURBO is a must .. it's extremely slow.

Once weakspots were eliminated on say 277 or Defender it went nuts. I loved my IS-3 and KV-13 but I never felt dirty playing them they had downsides...then things got silly. I loved my Centurions but you had to know how to play them. The whole game went just destabilised.
This kind of tank is the tank I can say have identity crisis kind of tank, like it is a TD, but it play and really can play as heavy, even better than heavy sometime, it's fun but sometimes it's weird, just like playing the sheridan, yes I'm a light, but it's very good for damaging.
Yeah, I got trapped with the Skoda t56. It can't get in past armor AT ALL

She’s solid besides that lower plate 22mm .. I smashed another ones face in hitting that
I respect TS 5 but..that cupola on top is easy to penetrate with viperas standard round...gun depression and rotating cupola are the dealbraker in TS 5/Vipera dilema. When on hull down Vipera can bounce even tier 10 standard rounds..i agree with QB this tank is a beast, but like every other tier 8 premium you can encounter tiers 9 and 10s and then you play very carefully and you must pick targets, not just go into the front line..i manage to deal 4500 dmg in tier 10 machup just by being carefull and picking lower tier tanks.

with all the strong frontal tanks i’m actually really missing arty being in the game. makes games so stale when the game play is just tanks unable to pen each other and sitting infront if one another :/
This tank has a awkward traverse speed and turret, so you have to try and get its side. If you get it’s butt, it’s dead.
"They never nerf premium tanks anymore". They nerf it but they don't tell you.
They effectively nerf every other premium tank by releasing ever more premium/reward op tank tanks.

met them in a E75 TS and a LOWE and you really dont have much of a chance especially if its hull down, if you can flank its ok but thats about it....
Sure adding more hull down tanks so that tier 6 and 7 tank has a hard to penetrate even with the HE ....

Whatever magic this tank once had seems to have worn off. I had one on rental and pretty much everything at Tier 8 penned me from the front. My guess is that, having sold enough of these, there are stealth nerfs, or simply that everyone has learned the weak points. Not fun.
STILL Depends on WHO is Driving it... And the Team you Get, if you end up the Sole Survivor, even in this you'll STILL be an Accident looking for a Place to Happen... lol
I WANTED to try the Tier 8 on the Test Server, but being what it is all you could do was Drive the Minotauro if you wanted to Drive an Italian TD... And GOD, ALL the 4005's I saw on the Test Server... lol
Looking Forward to the Reviews on the Rest of the Line, but I have my Minotauro and Vipera already so... Still gonna Play the Line, I have ALL of the Rest of the Italians in my Garage EXCEPT the 45T... But I will eventually...

I’ll say it again like last weeks stream, I really think the TD line should have been auto reloaders, and not autoloaders. But alas I guess WG thinks we need a foch B with a turret and good armour.

I feel like WG is overcompensating for making the RInoceronte line so bad, instead of balancing both the heavy and TD lines in the the Italians tech trees. they just gave us an overpowered TD line.
It's only the Rino bad, the rest of the line is very good.
Rino is kind of bad, but the tier 9 is very good
