Wargaming´s strategy, at least their main,
is bringing our wallets even more pain,
they are sure having a pretty good streak,
putting out premiums nearly every week.
The russian ones we need the most,
that are stealthy as an invisible ghost,
that are faster than a ray of light,
that can dominate in every fight.
Hope they will buff this too,
we just need a better ISU,
give it armor, give it a cup holder,
dont forget about the autoloader.
Make it fast, like the French,
give it some kind of special wrench,
that repairs the tracks in the blink of an eye,
upgrade the engine, so it also can fly.
Give it something like infinite pen,
Replace the crew with immortal men,
make the commander Stalin himself,
for every battle endless wealth.
Put it on a 279e hull,
so it can be played by the dullest of dull,
give the gold rounds a bit of a crack,
if you hit somebody - ammorack.
I Hope this will not be their last,
we desperately need more and fast,
and the germans - they surely are fine,
will they be buffed? Of course NEIN!

I literally predicted this as soon as the BL-10 was taken from the ISU-152.
I had quit over the Obj 263 line rework being announced a month after I got the 263 and started enjoying it.
I'm an arty main, and I quit because they gave me an overpowered vehicle to replace my skill reliant vehicle.
I had also predicted that the BL-10 would get sold back as a premium. Seeing that it happen wasn't surprising but still pissed me off.
In wot blitz Bl 10 is still in Isu 152

BL-10 in wot blitz has 3167 dpm, 12.12 reload, and .334 accuracy. ABSOLUTE MONSTER!

To be fair, this is also a 152mm instead of a 105mm. It'll be 3x overmatching far more often. Not to mention the greater normalization of AP shells.
So effectively, this gun has much better penetration characteristics than the UDES 03. Although the UDES 03 has the accuracy to compensate.

You shouldn’t be allowed to buy premium tanks of a tier you’re not at in the tech tree, it messes up the MM in a big way.

@@theverminator8048 that's the point, it hurts the team that player is on. I rather like this idea, though the fact that it is smart and sensible should be an indication that it will never happen because WG only seems to care about churning out profit, they gave up on a quality product long ago.
Rob H disagree completely. There is no incentive for players to learn the game in the first place. There are just as many "experienced" players with 5-10000 plus battles and 30-45 percent win rate. Why should people learn the game? Far too many treat this like an arcade game and use no strategy whatsoever. Wg needs to reward teamplay a lot more and have a lot more training missions to teach people the game...even a pve mode would help (even if it was only for training) to teach positioning, map awareness, tank types and roles, spotting, camo, angling etc. Blaming bad mm on prem tanks is just the easy button, but its the wrong one. I can barely play this game anymore bc tier x battles are just like tier 2 battles...teams lemming..ignore map, heavies camp bushes..lights hang out with arty and meds camp base with the tds. Its infuriating to get rofl stomped bc your team has no clue how ti play the game (and the majority of my games are tier x...so there is no "premium" tank excuse. People who play this game are on avg just bad at it, and have no desire or motivation to improve bc wg does nothing to make them want to.

If Rhm.-Borsig Waffenträger also have premium version ,sure I will buy it .but this 152k, I'm not interested
If the .43 dispersion works like the .43 dispersion I have on the T-100-LT, you'll be able to snap pixels like nothing.
Jean-chri Delfoege dispersion is half the story though. Your gun handling matters a lot more. If you have good gun handling (I.e. EBR’s) you can snapshot like nothing because your reticle doesn’t bloom as much. Dispersion is overall accuracy though so it has an impact as well. Looking at the stats the gun handling is worse than the normal ISU 152 gun.

You forgot the KV-2 (R), that would have been the previous highest alpha damage premium tank
BUT at least that "project" was carried out 'well'...gameplay-wise it is literally the same as the regular KV-2...the whole thing lacked creativity for sure, but didnt make the game and WG's reputation worse...alike this plan...

Sonkoly Leon that’s a good point but I was thinking one shell alpha... that one feels almost like an autoloader to me except that you can hit both shells at the same time
they key difference being you can have a situation where you penetrate only one shell, making it more consistent and less “all or nothing” than your usual big alpha tank. although it does have the big alpha effect on people so by that argument it does count

Premium borsig? Enters the “Iron rain”. Pretty glad it’s only on console tho 😂
The camo on the Iron Rain makes it as scary as a WFT E100 imo. Getting hit for 1,500 damage by something you cannot see is as scary as hell even in a tier 10 vehicle.
Its a 40 sec reload which is the only thing I dislike about it

I knew that the day they removed the BL10 from the ISU. They will make a slightly better ISU with the BL10 and go "HerE IS a BeTTeR TieR 8" and expect ppl to suck up and buy it.
But this one is worse
well the problem is when youre running regular isu youre bleeding money and when youre running this tank its making money. if someone like to drive isu 152 and sees this tank and they cant afford this tank at the time imagine how salty they are. this tank is basicly old isu 152 experience without sucking your credit empity
Are you joking, I had to run food, bond GLD and a bond GLD directives on the regular isu just to get good enough gun handling. This one has way worse gun handling. This is a hard pass for me, I'll stick to the scorpion g.

The soviet union designed,experimented and made far more tanks than almost every nation combined together after WW2. There are 100s of vehicles , especially the object series that arent in the game. There are many versions of the T55,T62,T54,T-10 and mbts that can be added into the game that would straight up make the chieftian look cute in terms of unbalanced

Well the apcr has 3 degrees less normalization and because of that it's harder to overmarch-pen (not complete overmatch) and easier to ricochet with it. Also The swedish tds have waaay less alpha and big guns overmatch it completely so i think it's rather well balanced.
The swedish tds focus on pen not alpha. But this new tank has high pen and high alpha....
Swedish TDs also only have 105mm. So they can only 3x overmatch armour plates thinner than 35mm.

The double edged sword that is Siege mode is what really balances the S1. If you fire, get spotted, and arty eats you before you can move: game over.
Otherwise that pen would be flat out broken.
This thing can fire, drop 800+ damage with the same pen, and retreat instantly.
That's just plain broken. It absolutely will result in other players having their experience ruined.
A lucky shot from one of these things is essentially end of battle.

After so many years...now my fav prem tank in the game and maybe even overall. Currently working on three marking it.
Ah, fab to get stuck into a proper tank review. Also, I am happy to see the honkin' BL-10 back at tier VIII. Sadly, I never got a chance to use it on the ISU-152 but I saw my brother use it. It was always funny to see someone get donked for 750 avg. dmg. It will be interesting to see the impact the tank has on the matchmaker.

Thanks for this QB, always appreciate the good videos. Learning to hide and be patient is where I repeatedly fail in WOT. I want to help my suiciding teammate lights live longer, etc. This tank will help develop patience, as aggressive play will result in perforated armor and a trip to the garage. I look forward to it.

The little trade-off on the statistics side of things is very much worth it in my opinion.
I got this from the loot boxes and I love it. If you play it dumb and they catch you out of position, it's a rolling coffin. But shooting that God killer gun is the best feeling ever. But let me have this... I hardly had any premium tanks before this one.

It’s a russian game. WoT isn’t made with NA and EU players in mind. Russians love to buy up russian premiums, so WG gives them what they want. Russians don’t really care about swedish premiums or Chinese light tank buffs.

I luv mine, just kills scouts and mediums, using the 2 new armour buffs, crew is essential, after 4 perks the gun gets better.

ISU always had BL10 in blitz... when maxed out it has 300mm AP pen with around 13 seconds reload time. Although it’s only 640 alpha

almost exactly 7 years ago on the 16th of may 2013 you uploaded the original review of this td. back then it was a unique op gun at tier 8. today it doesn't stand out anymore. sometimes I wish WoT would go back to its good old days.
ISU used to be my favorite and I have done extremely well in it. I think 59% win in it but the Chinese tier viii premium TD is my new favorite now.

@@spooky694 Artillery will always be a neverending debate with players. WG has already said to the community that they will NOT remove them because they have to be apart of the game otherwise, you destroy a part of the game's strategy. That is just something you have to live with. I used to get angry with arty, but all it takes is some map awareness and some of that "W key" to not get hit directly (if you do it right).
And now we know when it's coming back, in the Christmas loot boxes of course.

Got this in a Christmas box yesterday, it hits like a truck. No it hits like a Train! People sit out in front of me and wow what a hit!
Why tf is every body so salty man, I have played the game for 6 years and this is just another tank we will just have to deal with, just think about getting behind it in a light tank haha
I sent the following ticket to Wargaming:
- It is absurd and unacceptable to nerf the ISU 152 by decreasing its penetration and then launching a premium tank - ISU 152 K - with the penetration that the player had in his original tank. I am embarrassed to ask what is evident: Do you realize that you treat the player like a sucker? It is evidently an irrational conduct, and harmful to the game; revolting, which will drive players away, who will then look for another game ... This can be done in a less covert, more honest and clear way, as follows: after the modification, the next time the player clicks on the tank in your garage, would show a message: "Your tank has been nerfed. Now, to be able to get your penetration back, just buy your similar premium that we just launched." If the player complains, you can say: "That's right, we treat you like a sucker. Do you know all those hours you spent to get this tank, to improve it, to learn to play with it, to train your crew? That money you spend to speed up your training? Its over. If it was getting harder to play with ISU 152 due to the appearance of new tanks, mostly premiums, it’s over now: we’ve turned your tank into a butt and it’s not worth playing with. To recover, just spend more money on this new ISU 152K tank. Be a fool and do it because it's worth it ". I hope you understand that this type of conduct is not part of the game. Want to nerf a tank? that is for the next to be acquired, those in the garage must remain unchanged... I really hope that this attitude will change. I appreciate the attention.

Nice! Hats off to them to put out a premium tank that will draw interest, and get people like me that have a core of the best premium tier 8s, to want this one as well. Though I absolutely love playing tds aggressively, loved the isu 152, and that 750 alpha is just so devastating, especially late game, if you don't bleed too much health, it can be a carrying machine! I like your perspective here QB! I do agree!

The iron rain on console is a 3 shot autoloading borsig with a 1,450dmg clip/mag. But I’m not sure this counts as huge alpha dmg as a tier 8 tank

The accuracy on this tank is pretty good when fully aimed, even compares to STRV on long range.
ISU was (and still is) my most played tank in the game. IDK how I managed to do it but I have 12k games in it.
It made no sense for me to go to tier 9/10, until they removed the BL-10 from it.
New day, new Russian premium tank. Also continuing the time honoured tradition of re-releasing removed OP tanks as premiums.
imagine thinking the ISU is OP and imagine thinking this is a better version of the tech tree tank

Any tank that has big alpha damage can be played in close combat. When you pack such a punch you can trade your HP to get a shot out and still have an OK battle.
Best way for me to play this is as a sniper… albeit a little difficult at times, I can take huge chunks of health from enemy tanks I then move on to another tank with high health and leave the lower health tank for my team mates to get because they have a higher ROF. In other words focus on high health tanks take 1/3-1/2 their hit points let your team mates mop up
i dont normally argue with your videos but for once i think you have this all wrong QB, WG are clearly after a cash grab with this tank, take a tank away then give us it back worse than what it was ? i simply dont agree with these tactics, what we need are more maps, and yes i understand berlin is coming but like pretty much 90% of all other maps its likely to be filled with corridors which force you down a route to brawl with people, im also a light tank player and had quite alot of fun fulfilling that role, but now im forced to work my way up the EBR line because why wouldnt you ? they are simply better in everyway, now if i dont do my job as a light i get shouted at by the team, how am i supposed to deal with a 90-95kph wheeled vehicle that can auto-aim and snap HE shells into me while i have to try and physically aim at him ? its utter bullshit to be honest, wargaming need to quit adding new vehicles and think about some tanks that need love from the very first implemented tech trees

You mentioned the problem in your bulk premium tank review a few months back - since Skorpion and Defender there was an apparent paradigm shift in WG regarding premiums. Now you can pull your credit card, wait a few weeks for premium offers and buy yourself into the game. Why would you even level low tiers - or high tiers for that matter? Tier 8 is the sweet spot where the fun is and all game mechanics are accessible. Back when you had just T34 , Lowe and IS-6 there was so much to explore. Now... want a Maus, hard-hitting TD, autoloader, autoreloader or a wheelie? Just do it! Every playstyle at your Visa's reach. The only thing not in the game yet is tier 8 premium arty. I'd love to see how many people actually would buy this sort of thing lol

I finally just finished my 600th battle in the ISU-152k and I have to say it works best in the cities if you have a heavy supporting you
In console there is a auto loading borsig called the iron rain 4 shot auto loader
it is just like the t-28 with f-30. In the beginning the f30 gun was available when WoT was first released.
Speaking of a premium borsig there were plans to mount a 15cm on a Skorpion.
There was also the SU 152P, basically the SU 130PM with a 152mm.
Could this be this years well deserved reward? After T6 and T7 it would make sense to go for T8, and like the T-50-2 and the Super Hellcat it's representing a former Version of Vehicle that was regarded as very powerful
Add the improved aiming , takes it to .37 dispersion. Then factor in that everyone will shoot premium ammo because you want to get the best bang for your buck and not have ricochets, I can see why you'd want this in your garage.
