Everyday I'm hitting RUclips to listen to Cornette specifically..... it's amazing how many fans he actually has and I truly believe his audience is that close to 200k jump up and down in ratings for AEW from the week he stopped watching and then started again a couple weeks later is 100% due to him. It's too bad that too many people's feelings have already been hurt and he'll never work with AEW officially......but they do owe Cornette a kick back since he creates something like 20% of their audience without even being involved

Jim Cornette should absolutely be in the hall of fame and so should Vince Russo *ducks for cover*. Cornette is a proper wrestling man through and through. The cool thing is that it seems like MJF is using Jim's criticisms in his promos now. He's specifically quoting Jim's most used insult phrases that Jim says about AEW. Doesn't surprise me that MJF listens to a legendary heel who could be the all-time greatest at heel promos, who also sings MJF's praises all the time.
AEW spiked my interest in wrestling again for the first time since 2003. MJF is the one who kept my interest. He is a star who turns me into a legit mark again. Cornette said 20 or 30 years ago people were happy the good guy won a crummy match and upset if the heel won a great match and that we lost something. Isn't it a great thing now that people can appreciate a good match that the heel won and want a little more from creative than just a lazy DQ finish? I feel like he is contradicting himself and just holding on to the old traditions blindly.
