The three-man booth of Jim Ross, Jerry Lawler and Vince on Raw was a pretty underrated announce team when Raw eventually became Raw is War in 1997. One might remember Vince always sat in the middle seat between Ross and Lawler and Lawler was ruthless on commentary. It also blurred a lot of lines when wrestlers would make Vince feel uncomfortable for taking subtle shots at him being the owner of the WWF.
It goes to show you when you don't have only one but THREE companies who are hot in their own way making wrestling must see anytime it was on TV. The ratings will show that as well judging from the next couple of years.

Lawler was a cartoon character. ROSS was the ruthless one.

I honestly miss the new generation era, especially when vkm was an announcer. Times were simpler back then and it's important because it motivated the company to make changes so they could make their way back to the top and ultimately defeat their competition. Opinions are my own. Have a good day reader.
