Thank you so much! In my case it was exactly an issue with my M6. I've bought an OBD2 Bluetooth device for 20 quid and Carista software for another 10 quid which was enough to solve it. Everything took me about 5 min. At the garage they wanted 150 quid for sorting it out. Damn. You saved me a lot of money, haven't you.

Thank you! Take note that this fault can back again. In my case there was oxidation of wiring connectors in my trunk compartment. Also this problem shows up when the ISB system measures high voltage and current fluctuations. As an example starting your car without the ignition ON setup phase ending. As an example when you turn on your ignition the fuel pump in fuel tank start to work to rise the pressure and supply fuel line to feed high pressure pump in your engine bay(speaking about diesel engines) this pump is heavy load for battery. It drains reasonable amount of current and when at the same time you start the engine starter requires even more amperes, which makes IBS and Restrain systems to thinking that there is drained battery or initiate false restrain system power interuption fault (like it would be on crash case). So after ignition ON, give to the car a fiew seconds and to your ECU to finish pre-start initiation.

Did you get same fault code ? The wiring can be corroded in connection, or BST sensor can be malfunctioning.
