This was helpful, nice to know that i can use a cable thats not the original just to move it around, but im struggling to get the battery from out the corner.
This cable has no fuse, it goes directly to starter and alternator. That ignition package inside B+ terminal is protection against short circuit in case of car crash. You can drive, but not for long. Or at least add some megaval fuse with case holder for 400A.
Do you need to fix the airbags before changing the cable? Won’t the new cable blow again if the airbags are still deployed from accident with airbag light on ?
Like how he said in the video it’s best to replace the part with original, u can get crank no start, loss of power, engine/transmission malfunction, list goes on… dealer will charge you a fortune
thank you the only one that actually explained my situation

Even with a new one replaced it's overheating and idk where it's likely to cause a short or touching bare metal
no one is going to mention how dangerous it is to not disconnect the negative first. I was worried..
Yo right lmaooo
What is the name of the cable that you replaced?
How did you get the airbag sensor off ?

Legit, remove that ground, it’s literal seconds, so many other issues you could be creating by leaving that on…
