I am actually a distant relative of Johnny Appleseed (who's name is actually Jonathan [John] Chapman) on my grandma's side
Jacob, you're in a way like the modern day Johnny Appleseed, by travelling the country and helping people discover these strange and interesting places.
Omg you stopped in Lima my home town I'm a fan I was super Geekd to see this next time you come back free kewpee on me
Lincoln Hwy runs thru my town (Elkhart county area) if you haven't drove past me yet, there is a train museum downtown Elkhart (you was so close when you went to the super heroes museum). It will be interesting to see what you find in my local area!.. stay safe!
Dear Carpetbagger ,
Awesome! We had a dryer that played 'how dry I am' . Thanks for stopping by our area!❤
VERY nice to see coverage of electro
I love the smaller museum. We also have one here that is very old and is free . That one looked awesome. The Kewpie doll actually started out as a cartoon character based on baby cupids by Rose O'Neill in 1909 .She sold paper dolls of them to make extra money. In 1912 Germany started to make bisque dolls of them. What an interesting place to be laid to rest. I did not know that was the kind of apples he planted .Great video Keep Safe ❤Keep Well❤
What a FABULOUS museum 😍. Thanks so much Jacob. Safe travels aa always my friend ✌️❤️🙂🤗
Kewpee is the restaurant that inspired Dave Thomas to create Wendy's. Definitely a little know but important relic of early fast food history.
Seriously!! JACOB!! You find the most amazing places to go !! My ,..clogs are off to you!! BTW ,..Your simply the best! 🎶 ,..better then all the rest ,..music 🎼
Life long Lima resident here. We have 3 Kewpee locations. Reason why it reminds of you Wendys is because Dave Thomas was a part owner of Kewpee. Kewpee was originally in hotels exclusively. Also Kewpee is where Wendy's square patty on a round bun and never frozen beef comes from. The patties are made every day by the butcher. They also have malts and and chili the exact same way that Wendy's makes it. The two split and Dave Thomas started Wendy's which is nowhere near as good. If you think those lines are long, you have seen nothing. If you go during lunch time you will be waiting AT LEAST an hour if not longer, but its always worth it. I am just said you passed through once again without visiting the Temple Of Tolerance. You need to make a trip there.
The legendary Johnny Apple seed; featured in many children’s books
I live in Lima Ohio. And Kewpee is good! The fish is also good.
I'm from Fort Wayne, Indiana. Thanks for visiting my city! Love watching your videos! Comeback in the fall. We have a Johnny Appleseed festival every year on the grounds where you visited his grave.
Mansfield museum with Elektro ... once again proving my point that small towns have the coolest things. You can keep your NYs, your LAs, your Miami's, I'm going to the Mansfield's of the world
The Mansfield museum was wonderful 👍
Been following you for years Jacob, I’m so glad that things are going well in your personal life and you continue to bring enjoyment to many of us following along with your adventures. We appreciate you Carpetbagger! 🙂
I love seeing items from yesteryear! Thanks for the tour!
There is a Kewpees in Racine, WI that has got an older diner feel to it and a Kewpee doll display that operates still but you have to make it before 4pm. also Racine has alot of different museums around the area.
