I lived in Lima from 1991-1994 while I attended college at The University of Findlay. After graduation, I moved to Cincinnati, and still currently reside there, but I travel back to Lima several times a year just to get a Kewpee burger. I'm addicted. When I was asked to describe Kewpee burgers by my friends, I always used Wendy burgers as a comparison because they were the closest example I could think of (and this was before I found out that Kewpee inspired Dave Thomas to create the Wendy's franchise). I LOVE Kewpee hamburgers, and Lima Land has a true hidden gem. If you find yourself in the area, definitely check it out!

I've eaten at Kewpee many times and think they are the best tasting of any burger places. They ground their own beef every morning and the beef is gotten from Keystone Meats, not all that far from Kewpee east. There are actually 3 Kewpee locations in Lima.
Great video Cashew with the history lesson. Kewpee has very good burgers. I have never been to the downtown location, only the east location. My girls don't like it there, they find the dolls to be creepy. You got to talk to Scott about his choice of clothing when he's in your videos, lol. There are so many great places to eat in Lima, makes me miss working over there.
I like the art deco architecture of the one downtown. Scott and Tracy make such a cute couple.🙋♂️🙋♀️ I still say Chris 👕 has a uncanny resemblance to a Kewpie doll.🤗

Kewpee burgers are ground fresh daily. The fries are deep fried in beef tallow. Can't get a better burger, fries and malt. My son has worked there the last 14 years. t
