Hey Jacob! I was the pirate in the video. I was in such shock when you came to my work I'm surprised I kept it cool. Thanks for shining a light in omaha!
Best day of work ever for you! I'm jealous. 😁
So awesome! Love the power of connection like this:) keep on rocking on, Mr. Sparrow!
@@atypicalmom I had no idea I was like "woah woah I know that hat anywhere!"
@@natepadilla6326 looks like a really fun job, hope the lawyer tip jar gets filled up 😆
@@atypicalmom yeah it filled up real fast that day (yesterday actually) he came in the morning and by that time we Easley had $20 in the bucket
I laughed so hard when you initially flew through the car wash. It's like you were running from someone 😆🤣😂
Me too, I laughed out loud 🤣 😂
Was like, wow that was a speedy carwash.
@@j0hn33y I said the same thing, that sure was a quick and short car wash.
I never knew you could do that.....
Yes me too!!!!! So funny
🌞I was like wow thats a fast car wash, but then you say u didn't put it in neutral, hilarious 😆. This is right up there with the Camel bite lol. Thanks for sharing
And the oppupied Vegas hotel room
Good chatting with you and thanks again for stopping at Fort Cody! Have a great road trip!
I thought you flew through that wash. 😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
For the Koolaid part, they should’ve added like a tarp, just a ‘broken down’ wall, or something to have kids run through shouting “OH YEAAAAAH!”
I love seeing Jacob in his big colorful crocs!
Thanks for sharing the Kool Aid museum. I never knew it was invented in Nebraska. Raspberry was my favorite flavor as a kid. Also liked the car wash with the pirates, and the fort too.
I remember the song "Kool Aid's here, bringing you fun, Kool Aid's got thirst on the run"
That was a pretty quick car wash 😂🤣
Probably a good thing there wasn't another car in front. You don't need a rear end car wash collision on a trip.
Thanks for sharing your travels with us. In my current season of life it's hard to travel so I live vicariously through you!
Jacob, Don't ever talk about the people that put you down or call you names or whatever negative things that you've mentioned. Everyone that means something loves you and your channel. Its proven here.
Throughly enjoyed the vlog Jacob, fastest car wash in America 🤣😂🤣, Thankyou
It looks like you had a fun day. Thanks for taking me along.
That car wash looked like a lot of fun!
That first run was hilarious!
About the marbles and jacks -- marbles were still hanging on by a thread in Europe in the mid to late 1950s but apparently not in the U.S. Jacks, however, were still played in at least some of the schoolyards of New England. It was a girls' game, but in about 1960 my grandmother taught me how to play using the (European?) rules she had learned in the early 1900s: ball could never hit the ground, and all jacks had to be picked up by, and continuously held in, the same hand you used to throw and catch that ball. That made the game hard enough that I dared to show off one recess period. The girls hated me for being better at jacks than they were, and the guys grudgingly admitted the challenge level elevated it above the level of a "gurrul" game and didn't mock me for it. Although perhaps it was just as well it was the last day of school, and my family moved to another town that summer or I might have find myself bully target come September. Ah, the bad old days of strict playground gender roles. (Although I bet they still exist.)
I really am enjoying this travel with you. I do hope you are missing all the bad weather coming through.
What a great carwash . Never had much Kool -aid as a kid my Mom preferred to give us fruit juice which I'm sure some of it contained as much sugar. Interesting lunches in both places . That Archway museum was awesome .Would never had suspected it there . Keep Safe ❤Keep Well❤
Holy crap did you take me back to my childhood today! Dog N Suds was one of the first places I was allowed to ride my bike to, at nine or ten years old. And Kool Aid? All summer long, gallons of it. If you find a Dog N Suds out there, I cannot recommend the chilli cheese dogs highly enough.
There's two in Indiana
The car wash part was so funny haha, it happens
"We're going through" *Proceeds to hit the gas* I'M SOBBING RN LOL
The motto on Brooking's grave is a translation of that on the tomb of Christopher Wren in St. Paul's cathedral in London: Si monumentum requiris, circumspice.”
Marbles and jacks were simple games but so much fun.
Grizzlies eat salmon, not bass! Elk “ bugle”, not scream! “Platt”- pronounciation of Platte, not “ plate”! Fun video! Lol
I knew someone would mention the "delicious bass"... that is actually a line from Napoleon Dynamite, Jacob uses it frequently. It's a joke. You are right about the elk's "bugle", and Platte pronunciation, however. 😉
cool aid museum is lovely visit , thanks, there are museums about mining in NE at new jersy and PA
I'm not laughing at you, but I'm crying laughing at just how fast the first car wash was. I was like "dang, how does any car get clean?" lmfaooooo
Hey Jacob. There is a Dog N Suds still operating in Richmond, IL. off Rt.12. There used to be a few around here, there might be one still open in Woodstock IL. Groundhog Day Woodstock. Did you know that town was the typewriter manufacturing center of the United States? One time home to Orson Welles too.
Thank you for showing off Omaha and Nebraska! I hope you had lots of fun! I love my state and my town I live in
I've seen ads for something that sounds like Dollygrams, but its stuffed animals and its a service that does everything
Don't drink the Kool-Aid!!
That car wash was fun and the stamp ball was cool 😄 Your food and soda looked scrumptious! 😍 At 17:50 I remember you in a similar chair in a city museum video! I'd love to try it but would be afraid of falling out 😅 it was cool seeing the Sega Genesis. I still have my old Sega Master System and Mega Drive from years ago. Loved Street Fighter and all those cool nostalgic games 🕹️ Thanks Jacob and best wishes ☀️
I am so happy you went to Nebraska, where I live. I would suggest you check out Morrill Hall in Lincoln Nebraska. It's a natural history museum. It's on UNL campus and worth going to! It has mammoths, taxidermy and so much more! The Nebraska History Museum is also really cool! Thank you for visiting my home state! It is super cool to see the places I've been!
Great guys at the car wash. 🤣 Cheers Jacob, safe travels.
That must of taken forever to build the Lincoln Highway with bricks. That King Kong Place looked amazing. Food wise.
Just an FYI, Jacob: they have quite a few Dog N Suds locations in Indiana. I know they for sure have one in Lafayette near I-65
My brother and I use to play with Gardner snakes, my parents would get really mad at us for putting them in the bath tub
Me and my two year old son love watching your videos love from Wisconsin
Every time I see you go into a hotel room I get nervous- will never forget your Vegas hotel room surprise 😂🤣😂🤣🤣🤣
Love these road trips
We enjoyed that very much. Thank you for taking us with you.
We have a special carwash in my hometown too. It's a ocean island theme with a volcano. I have sensory overload disorder so I had a panic attack when I went through the carwash. I had a seizure the first time I went with my mom. I am autistic so it might be too much for my autistic brain to handle. I could desensitize myself but I don't drive. I have an in home assistance who takes care of me. She's my ride. ❤️☺️
I'd swear you and Adam follow each other or something. Adam was at the covered wagon shop and, Archway Museum a few weeks ago. He didn't go on the Lincoln Highway though. This is great journey. Your lucky you don't have to get to San Fransico in a covered wagon.
What a fun car wash 💕 loving this road trip ☺
Those were some impressive figures/mannequins at the Archway museum
That Archway Museum went all out! Loved it. Thank you for sharing. ❤️
Tropical punch is my favorite🥤Kool aid and I use to collect✂️the points on back of the packs trying to get the mugs...💕
Jacob, this was wonderful! Just enjoyed everything. Especially the car wash.
The carwash was neat-o!
The Kool Aid museum was awesome. As a kid, raspberry and lime were the only flavors I drank. Thanks for sharing your excursions.
I was thinking they get you through pretty fast. Lol. Too funny
I’m so happy you FINALLY got to visit this museum! I’ve been pestering you about it since you were on Flickr. ;^P My family all sat down and watched this video together; we all really enjoyed it!
RUNZA!!
Another interesting episode, Thanks Jacob. Wish we had some of those interesting burger joints in Canada.
Damn. Good thing there wasn't a car in front of you!
Thats great you went to this original brick part of Lincoln Highway. I made a recommendation about doing this, but you might have had it on your itinerary. It's pretty cool to see the original roadway. Oh yes, I forgot about the archway museum. It's really cool inside. It is so unexpected. Awesome stops. Keep safe and enjoy!
Dog 'N Suds!!! We had one in the small town next to mine when I was a kid (many moons ago). I still remember it after all these years. Footlong chili dog, fries and root beer. I wish we still had one nearby! Thanks for the memories, Jacob!
cool aid museum is lovely visit , thanks, there are museums about mining in NE at new jersy and PA
Adam the woo went through that archway a while back, but you gave much more detail so thank you, gee, he's in Salt lake city area for a while..and you are heading that way..🤔😁
Enjoyed everything today beautiful museums have a good rest see you tomorrow 😘🌞😘
Hey Jacob the carpet bagger I considered those sandwiches like a giant hot pocket they are so delicious thank you for the amazing videos that you post
Jacob, I would love to find a way to send you a real cornish pasty. It's made up of beef chunks, with potato, swede and onion. There is a gravy of sorts but very little of it along with black pepper. They are phenomenal. If you ever come to the UK please visit the South West!
Showed the Runza part to my spouse, shes from the area and just was overjoyed, glad you enjoyed the Runza!
I haven't been able to go to my home town due to a lot of things. Thank you so much for filming there and showing off our claim to fame, Kool Aid. You should check out Kool Aid days sometime its a lot of fun. Makes me want to go back Hastings real bad, I hopefully can go again sometime in the next year.
Woo just did this museum not too long ago. Looks interesting!
In my opinion the Kool-Aid man is the Koolest mascot ever. OH YEAH!
Awesome video today! I love the Kool-Aid Museum. Hope you didn’t drink it! That was Flavor-Aid though. Sad situation really. Anyway, I love the King Kong restaurant. Glad you found another location! I like the Oregon Trail. Really cool, except for the dead man at the end. Glad it talked about the Mormons! It was sad that they had to migrate because of persecution. But they made a better life for themselves. I also like that circus scene. Those are awesome. Whenever I see one I like to turn it on. So cool to watch! I’ve never heard of that Runza restaurant. They look like hot pockets. Well, thanks for sharing! Have a great day!
The Runza reminds me of a Pasty in the Upper Peninsula Michigan. Hahahaha you mentioned it too!!
Another very fun time !
I've been watching a long time, but each video seems just like the 1st video, fun and exciting being with a great friend.
You make your viewer seemed like we're right there. Thank you.
🤘👻💖
I screamed when you drove through it 😭😭😭😂
That car wash was fun and see the pirate put a comment just below mine. Great trip and stops enroute.
The archway museum is honestly one of the best museums you have shown on your channel.
Another great museum 👌, keep up the good work.
And I got a car wash ad, thanks algorithm
Appreciate your work!
When I was a kid in the 60s they had a Dog n Suds drive in in St. Johns, Michigan. I remember they had a good burgers.
You are amazing. I love your channel. I am binge watching your videos. Thank you so much for making it possible for me to see things I can't visit myself. I am handicapped so I use RUclips and the internet to explore the world.
this is my childhood i loved seeing the kool aid man
Hey Bags… there is an awesome Dog n Suds in Lafayette Indiana . Great old style drive in restaurant .
I enjoy watching your videos man.
Loved the 1970 Kool-Aid TV ads..
I love that you don’t know I’ll pull up from a jumping jack fits your character lol
This museum is so much fun and Educational
Oh my gosh, I live like a mile away from the midpoint of the Lincoln highway! It's fun to see a RUclipsr coming to Nebraska and having fun. No one else does that!
Take care , thanks for sharing.
Another great vlog and that car wash is neat. I want to see the kool-aid museum.
Hahaha I’ve never seen anyone fly thru a carwash like that in my life 😂
Jacob visiting all of my childhood memories in nebraska just makes me smile :)
Hey Jacob, next time you are in NE Ohio, stop by and visit Kent! I recommend Mike's Place, KSU Fashion Museum, historical bridge downtown. Lot of history here! And be sure to visit the KSU May 4 Memorial!
I thought you went through the car🚙 wash🚿 awfully fast ☄️🤣
46:20 have you watched any of the 'dirty room' videos by dan bell ? they are a hoot and a half. God bless ya Jacob.
Cool and clean 🧽
going strong jacob. let's gooo
Jacob revealed he has never done so much as a single jumping jack in his life. Yeah, that checks out.
Some brilliant taxidermy.
that is hilarious lmao, i thought you shot threw that carwash a little fast hahaha😅
About 1 1/2 north of Sidney, NE is Carhenge - a replica of Stonehenge made of cars. Maybe stop by there at some point, Jacob.
Wow super I love these kinds of things Thankyou I love your channel
Great episode Jacob. Solid museum content. It looks like you could maybe find a dog and suds on your way back through Illinois or Indiana if u went off the path a bit.
Runza is not only in Nebraska - there's also a location in Lawrence, Ks. They're great, with cheese.
I enjoyed it
I LOVE that car wash!
GOOD STUFF! You'll have to come back to see more of the cool stuff we have! I used to go to that gas station/car wash all the time when I lived in that part of Omaha! Never saw any pirates there though! YARRRRR!
Come out to Richmond Illinois. They have a Dog N Suds drive in. Great food!
