The shrunken head at 21:15 use to be at the Ripley’s museum in Buena Park, CA. They’ve since closed in 2009 but I can say that it was the best Ripley’s museum I’ve ever visited.
I loved the Ripley's Believe it or Not Museums, I remembered watching the Ripley's Believe it or Not TV show and the show is what got me interested in the mysterious/unique/bizarre things. And also, Niagara Falls; Slowly I Turned (If You Get the Reference, I couldn't resist XD)
Finally one of my Most Favorite Museums I Have Always Loved the Ripley's Believe it or Not Museums they're the Craziest of them All Never know what madness you'll find inside. There was Lots of Weirdness It did Not Disappoint. Great Entertainment my Friend Jacob I Love this Video. I have Collected All of the Oddity plush's from Ripleys.
I'm ashamed to say I've never been to a Ripley's. I think there's only one now in the UK in Blackpool. These videos have inspired me to finally visit. After all its only about an hours drive from where I live 🚗
just found out they are adding a ripleys selfie studio to replace the moving theatre in niagara falls. From what I can tell it's the first one. It is on ripleys site.
Greetings from Buffalo ! Clifton Hill Ripley's Believe it or Not it's the only one I've ever been to always wanted to see this me and my son who's 5 years old absolutely love your channel he always gets excited when he sees the possum popping up in your car in your intros have a good day brotha!
I love that Jacob says "there is our man Wadlow makes me feel like part of a crew, the Carpetbagger crew.Haha.I am so mad I haven't Been to my hometown Ripleys in years because of the pandemic.I consider Ocean City,Maryland my hometown one because I'm from Baltimore but th one here shut down after not to long but I've been going to th Ocean City one for over 30 years.
There used to be a Ripley's Believe It Or Not in Chicago at 1500 North Wells Street in Old Town. It opened in the late '60s. It's now since closed and no longer exists sadly. I've been to the one in Wisconsin Dells. I have a tin that has one of the old comic strip that I got at the gift shop. The one where you enter from where you leave the spooky area. The Chamber Of Horrors section at the one in Texas.
I visited the Niagra Falls area when I was 13. That was in the 70s. One of the places we visited was Ripley's, only a 5th of what I saw was there back then, including the Fallen Building facade. Most of the Exhibits are rotated between all the Museums as you pointed out with the Possum. Now I know where those oddities that the Old Ciruses had seems to end up at one of the Ripley Museums! I've visited one of the Ripley's museums once a decade!
A translation of the graffiti on the piece of the Berlin Wall. "General your tank is a strong vehicle, it breaks down a forest and _____ one hundred people. But it has a flaw, it needs a driver."
Oh my gosh that place Ripley's of Niagara Falls that place is so crazy. You used to freak me out when I was a kid. Never wanted to go in it. My mom and my sister did well. My dad and my sister did they had a good time? I didn't then again I was a kid back then Maybe he has an adult. I may go back up there. Who knows
Nice to see they have changed inventory there. Another great Video Jacob. Although not as Great as the Gatlinburg Ripley's- Still a Ripley's. Safe Travels
Awesome video! I love Ripley’s. Fiji mermaid is cool. I like the tiny art displays that you look through the microscope. I also like the sideshow figures there as well. Well, thanks for sharing! Have a great day!
Oh i remember going to this one on a trip to canada with my family a few years ago! My older sister and I got my mom (biology teacher) a 2-headed turtle plushie
Actually stopped the video at 4:40 out of curiosity, and the artifact is a protection against insect bites, which seems to make good sense. But you are right, no additional information needed on that one. Never saw the shadow sculptures before. These are nice, an amazing art! Very nice episode, as always. Thank you Jacob!
Here's an unsolicited tip I cut and pasted from the internet: The LED light flickering in the video becomes apparent because the frames per second (FPS) recording of the camera is not aligned with the frequency of electricity. Adjusting the shutter speed: At 60 Hz so you will need a frame rate of 30p with a shutter speed divisible by 60 - 1/60, 1/120, etc. At 50 Hz, you need 25 FPS at a shutter speed like 1/50 or 1/100. I think the US and Canada are both 60 Hz.
I 💜 this place. I have lived near here my whole life, and I'll always come back; sorry I missed you when you came here Jacob thanks for considering Ontario🤘, for bonus points... look up the song by The lumineers - sleep on the floor. I think you'll relate just now. Let's see if you really read all your comments 👻
I remember watching both of the Ripley's Believe it or Not TV shows. I liked the original show better than the remake. Jack Palance was a much better host than Dean Cain. Jack's deep and gravely voice added to the creepy and strange vibe the show had. I also loved him in City Slickers.
1:53 I assume the 3 of them are broken or something. If the 3 animatronics in the lobby broke then it’s a bit sad. A lot of people liked seeing them move by looking through the window they are next to. Also the guy climbing the pole outside was gone. I think it was gone since 2020.
Old bestie/ex Jeremy London is there too right now! He's with his girlfriend Lisa. Looked beautiful there! He's at Niagara Falls on Canada's side! Well I'm sure he's visiting other places too. But saw Niagara Falls today on his Twitter.

That was a Chinese MONEY sword, not monkey! 🤣
Came here to say the same thing.
It's M-O-N-E-Y sword not 'monkey sword', Jacob 4:40. Those 'washer looking things' it's made out of are Chinese COINS!
That one made me really crack up 😂 gotta love em.
The shadow sculptures are really beautiful.
31:05 "Black like a doll's eyes!" 😂 That lion made from tyres was cool and loved the shadow sculptures 😄 Thanks Jacob and best wishes ☀️
Yes, 🦈 I always like 👍 the QUINT impersonation from “JAWS” also! Love when Jacob does the shark eyes, like a doll’s eyes… 😆.
@@ShelleeGraham me too 😂 every time there's a shark display in Jacob's videos I'm just waiting on him saying it! 🦈

Fear the Camel!
I guess that is going to be a running gag that will bump up from time to time. Love it.
Still my favorite is the museum of failure. Camel bite 🤣🤣🤣
Chinese money sword, not monkey sword.
Bagpipers have frequently used goatskin for the bag (along sith sheepskin). It's obviously a play on words. These days many stick with synthetic.
