I love the trips to bizarre wax museums Jacob. That Movieland museum has some of the most bizarre, dated works that just don't look quite right. Great stuff!
The Falls are beautiful, one of the great natural wonders of the world and one I've been privileged to see. The wax museum was interesting, but honestly the Jim Carrey figure looks like he's attempting to swallow your soul.😂😂😂

well, if this wax museum keeps not renovating it's exhibits, then in a few years the 'outdated' figures will suddenly be retro. so what is a time capsule to 00s culture will be a throwback style thing.

Everything in the was museum is a fever dream version of what it's supposed to be. Everything was off just a bit. If Leo or Brad Pitt looked like that, they'd have no career! Hi Jacob. Love your content. I've seen so many cool places through the videos. I left NF a couple of years ago but loved Clifton Hill. It has changed so much over the years. I used to work on the hill as a teenager. So much fun.
Jacob, there are a few channels here on RUclips that have the ENTIRE Tales From the Crypt collection! One channel is Moenvision. Glamsters Crypt is a channel that had them as well, but they got struck by CBS for airing the “Monsters” TV series, which is bs if you ask me❤

It's always fun to see you in my neck of the woods! I'd love to see you go through a few more Niagara Falls places. Maybe a trip to the top of the Skylon Tower is in order? How about a ride through Ghost Blasters? Oh, and I don't think you've been through Nightmares yet!
He did ghost blasters in a previous video but I agree with him doing more falls things like journey behind the falls, Niagara fury, Hershey museum etc. I live here too and keep missing Jacob when he comes as I walk the parkway/Clifton Hill literally everyday. All the best!

The largest tourist trap in the world! I love the place, my wife hates it! We don’t love to far from there, it’s always fun.
If you think the Movieland Wax Museum has changed lately, you should have been there in the late 60's, when Laurel and Hardy were out front in an old Model T, inside were scenes from "Thunderball," "Vertigo," and the Chamber of Horrors had The Hunchback of Notre Dame, the Phantom of the Opera, etc.! The Louis Tussaud Wax Museum was across the street further down Clifton Hill, closer to the falls.😭

Its been so long since i lived and worked there. Nice to see a video of how much its changed. That super hero dark ride i remembered used to be Beetlejuices dark ride. Loved the arcade. The wax museum has been updated for sure but that talking pharoh is still very much the same. I heard him all day when i was working on clifton hill lol

The only thing I could think of when you showed us “Brad Pitt” was wondering if Defunctland ever used a picture of that one in his early stuff when he used bad Brad Pitt wax figures as stand ins for himself

I prefer wax figures over the fiberglass/plastic ones. The only thing better than these off-looking, out-of-date figures are the ones in those old historic events wax museums that are kind of unintentionally creepy looking. Even better (funnier) are those that had name tags so you knew who they were. Loved the night view of the lit up buildings and falls! Love the tourist trappy attractions!
That maple syrup bottle shaped like a tower, it’s actually the skyline tower overlooking the falls. It’s a restaurant as well. I always love seeing your videos from here in Ontario, Canada. I’m going to Cliffton Hill next month with family.
And I remember the Phone Booth film starring Colin Ferro and Kefer Sutherland. I really enjoyed that film.
On a side note. M. Night Shyamalan was bringing back Tales From the Crypt in 2017. But at last minute the deal fell through because Warner/HBO wouldn’t allow him to use the Crypt Keeper. But, that didn’t make sense because, Warner/HBO haven’t done a thing with it.
Always wondered why none of these wax museums featured an omnimover ride. True, you might not get the chance to look at them too upclose, but at the same time, it could be quite a ride.

When I went there in the early 80's all they had was a gift shop that sold mugs and shot glasses, lol.

I'll be heading over there in June for Niagara ComiCon where gonna meet celebs, wrestling legends, and of course take in all the cool attractions in the span of the best weekend ever! I also love how the hill has changed over the years (IE memories of old attractions like Adventure-Dome 360 Cinema, Marvel Superhero City, MGM Studio Plaza, WWE Niagara, FX Ride Theatre, Falls Tower, Criminals hall of fame, Alien Encounter, Rock stars wax museum, Screamers House of Horrors, Brick City, and Ripley's moving theater 4D).
I remember going to that place for a weekend

I know you’ve been there so please let me know because those are the things that I have on my bucket list that I would love to go and visit but I don’t wanna have to go through the process of trying to get a passport since I might not be using it all that often so anyways, if you could let me know I’d really appreciate it. I grew up here. It was so much better in the 80s. So many fantastic museums have gone away on Clifton Hill. :(

Crazy that the same guy that directed Hancock was responsible for Breaking Bad. not casting any judgment, but I think it’s safe to say that the latter was a bit better. Also, I’ve always said Reesee’s Peesees since I was a kid, still say it that way now because it’s more fun. James Rolfe AVGN also says it that way.

Okay, the movie Land animatronics used to scare me as a kid when I grew up in Toronto when I went to visit Niagara falls hell when we were driving around or walking down the road or wherever it was originally it scared me. I never wanted to go in as an adult. It's somewhat still scares me but at least I know it's not real. That's what they want you to think. Maybe they are !
Some of the Wax figures were not a good likeness imo. I’m glad the Carpetbagger mentioned who they are.
