- A walk through the Journey Behind the Falls attraction on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls. I walk through some soaking wet caves to get a rare glimpse of what it's like right behind the Horseshoe Falls then head outside to the viewing platform for a stunning up close look at the falls. Unfortunately my external mic failed so the audio from this one comes from the camera's internal mics.

This is my favourite thing to do in Niagara Falls - truly awesome power! Along with walking down along the gorge bottom, this gives you a real impression of the might of all that water from the Greatest Lakes in the world.

The best vantage point to view all 3 Falls is the new attraction called The Tunnel. It is absolutely amazing. You take an elevator down 200 feet below ground level. You then walk 2200 feet through the tunnel to the viewing platform which is adjacent to Horeshoe Falls. Breathtaking. The guided tour of the power plant museum is also worth it.

I grew up in Niagara so never really did the full tourist experience there, and never this. This is pretty impressive. In some ways it's a shame growing up close to the falls, it seems a lot less special than it actually is.
