Well those have wierd looking pattern😃and okay,i have to say, when i got 3 months ago my first 1/10 trx4, its on hallway, and everytime i walk by it,i just love the scent that comes from it 😂😂im pretty sure it comes from the tires, or just the new plastic scent🙈
This doesn’t hurt the Wolverine lore, in any way.. you put a tire with sub-par forward drive and everywhere you gave Wolverine a little terrain to work with, and he gives 9+ scores. You can’t magically make grip, but The Wolverine can scratch, claw and bite it’s way up and through the rocks.
Seems like the lugs is harder than the tire itself an just hops bc of how soft the tire is…wonder if the tire was the same stiffness would it hop still bc the little holes in the tread looks like it’d snag on objects that pokes out…wonder if a stiff insert would help the hop out…I like them I’d get a set
The insert is barely an insert-- soft, barely fills the carcass. Squeezed in the hand, the compound feels kinda somewhere between "cheap Amazon tire" and "off-brand RTR tire." They just didn't make this tire very well.
Pretty much, aside from maybe the Rock Lizard (from the AX10) which landed a 92.8. Most everything else has been 97+. I think in a box I have some clone MOABs... which are probably terrible.
These are the most Egyptian hieroglyphic tires I have ever seen! 🤓
Wagwan Canyoneros 👊
The HPI Rock Grabber would make an interesting rearview- they were popular for MOA crawlers about 15 years back.
Howdy👊
Honestly did better than I thought they would
Imagine how good they were when they were fresh
Doooo beeee doooo 👍🏻
Am I the only who sees a Rorschach test in the profile of that tire 🤔🤪

i bet they leave a cool tread pattern in the dirt
It sounded like you were driving through a gravel.

They are tied up in 56th place with Redcat MT-9s
Sounds about right.
Yo
Either fakes or badly oxidized is my guess.
Another tire who disappeared for a reason ....moving on.
Just watched a vid here on YT from 12 years ago and they dont seem much improved compared to this test.
These tires look like both the compound and the insert are too firm. I wonder how they would do with no insert at all, lol

They gotta be fake.
Is this the first that have aged poorly?
