- We go through a few things that I've learned and how I discern which jackets to get rid of. It’s important to keep your wardrobe slim and reduce things that are duplicates. I talk about some of my other jackets that I enjoy as well

That leather jacket looks great on you! It does stand out - but that is exactly how a person should stand out. It exudes quality. It’s also a grail piece. Obviously you put quite a bit of thought into the decision but don’t let the main reason be that it’s too flashy. That’s my 2 cents anyway!
Very helpful video. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
You should at least keep that leather jacket. I can tell you barely wear it b/c It’s still not broken in and has a “flashy” bright look. However, if you wear it more, it’ll start developing a nice patina and faded in a good way. I hope you reconsider man. I also have a leather jacket that I’m still trying to break in. I sometimes feel conscious about it too since it barely looks worn. Only patience and wear will make leather look it’s best.
Always interesting when men discover the qualities of the Navy Pea Coat. I've been wearing the same one since my Navy service back in 1991. Just had the liner swapped out. About the only other thing I've had repaired are the buttons, which do eventually come away. Thirty two years and still stylish and warm. Cheers Tom 🍺👍
The peacoat that I have from Schott NYC is the warmest one that I could find.
Thanks for watching, and cheers!
Biggest mistake getting rid of that leather jacket it look and fitted really good on you and quality screams that it's expensive leather.
I will never sell that leather jacket. Its so cool. Sadly I can’t afford it. Lol
I'll seriously take that leather jacket
that field jacket, Awesome. know i want one.
Dude I’m shocked you said you’re 35. You should dress younger
Hi Tom,
What size is your Schott jacket? Is it for sale?
Thanks!
Hi, Tom!
Did you end up selling the jacket? If so, where did you sell it, and how much did you sell it for?
I might end up selling my jacket too and want to know the best way to go about it.
Hi @loneruggedkazuki! I actually ended up just donating this leather jacket. I had it for 5 years, and the cost of buying it was so long ago that I didn't want to deal with finding a buyer.
I did sell a Schott 519 motorcycle style jacket before buying the 530. I sold it on eBay, for around $450. Found a buyer pretty fast, and they were satisfied with it. For used items, I expect to get about half of what I paid for it.
Hope this helps!
@@tommilano5431Appreciated! Half the price sounds fair and I would like to take it as a lesson fee. I feel I rushed my purchase and doubt the fit now. I might go visit New York city again sometime, then try and buy a jacket there in the future.
I'm a 60yr young gym rat, athletic fit build standing at 6/2 210lbs only date 30-45yr old gym rat women. I wear Versace suits to Suit Supply down to ZARA... same with watches from Rolex subs, Seiko's, Citizens down to Invictas...AND I will still wear fitted simple European style leather jackets (cafe racer) because it's about attitude and having an edge. To me, Quilted is for OLD FARTS and the other jackets are just SOOOOOO boring looking. Although I applaud your look as it makes YOU look sharp, tidy and clean.... I guess not all humans are the same ..... hahahahaha....
Don’t do it bro 😢
that leather jacket are so yummy
I’m 57. I own a fantastic brown leather cafe racer and it just sits in the closet. I feel it make it makes me look like I’m trying too hard. I need to sell the damn thing.
Leather jackets are tough to wear. I find a field jacket or nicer wool or quilted jacket is a better fit usually.
Thanks for watching.
How can I buy your leather jacket?
