I love the traditional look of a chore coat but ultimately I ended up picking up the Tellason Coverall Chore coat just because it stands out from the rest of the chore coat line ups. I’ve been loving it, especially as someone with big shoulders, the jacket fits great!

Started typing and realized you’re saying everything I was thinking about. These are a great design. I watch what Japan is doing and go from there. They are the style kings👍I have a WW2 USMC utility jacket like what they wore in combat in the Pacific. Same design as the denim chore coat in HBT. I like them so much better than a regular jean jacket. It’s time we can style without being called Metro. Enjoy it👍

I’m Australian and bought three pointer brand LC King jackets on a whim while on holidays six years ago two solid blue and one blue with fisher stripe top pockets , wear the two solid blue ones in rotation all winter and the other one on weekends for casual use and never seen anyone else wear one.
Love them and can see me getting another six years out of them.

wow this episode came out perfect timing when I was looking up Chore Jackets. You two have impeccable taste, had no idea about Pointer and Hen's teeth, found a good Pointer one online and Hen's teeth is now one of my new fav brands haha. I've also had my eye on the Y2/The Shop Chore coat but that one's definitely out of my price range for now.

I have the LC brown chore coat L recently and it’s ok. It’s lightweight enough but still feels a bit tough. I wanted to a chore coat that can work and be in town & I can roll the sleeves up if it’s gets hot like in summer which I hope I can wear it in. I might get their utility vest in XL to be safe on the sizing because weirdly sometimes a vest would be too tight even though a jacket in the same size & same brand doesn’t. Although I find their customer service to be poor.

@@johnselby7248 Hi John, glad you like our videos. I’m wearing a size small in the Hen’s Teeth jacket. If Hen’s Teeth doesn’t have it, you might want to check with Stefano at Core Shop Italy, they carry Hen’s Teeth. I just spoke to him, I know they have the wool version of that jacket in olive color. Not sure about the denim one. Good luck!

Love the channel but please change the name from Man Cave Club, it sounds so regressive and cringe. I’m not trying to escape women and talk sports. I want to learn about men’s fashion and I don’t need a “safe space” from the women I love. Y’all are so much more sophisticated than the name Man Cave Club. Just a minor complaint. Overall, please keep up the great work!

Not a fan of these at all. Fit is too big, jacket too long, pockets too big. Do not like heavy denim or canvas on a jacket. Prefer a regular jean jacket, any decent color - blue or black Levi's trucker jacket, Made in China is fine, don't pay big money. One jacket that is very underrated is the "gas station" jacket. Used to see the punk rockers wearing them in the 1990's, hard to find now secondhand, I never see anyone wearing them anymore. Very good everyday jacket, like the mid-weight ones that can keep you a bit warm. Bands in the 1990's would get them at thrift stores, put their logo on them and resell them at shows. Very cool idea! Don't like the thin repro types such as the Dickies Eisenhower. Must be the right cut, thickness, fabric and sleeves. At my last job, part of the uniform was Red Kap work shirts and I'd put a stack in my bag and because I hated the company, leave a pile on the city street for free for the regular joe, skater or punk to get a nice free shirt that would hold up and they could also add their own touch, if they wanted 😁

I’m assuming you’re referring to what is called a “mechanic’s jacket” - short, zipper closure and two hand pockets. Yes! I like that style too. Actually, I still wear one at my job! 😬
