I understand how difficult your journey was. It is heart wrenching, especially the part about not enough food combined with political ideas. Fasting by force is hellish. But fasting and prayer voluntarily gave your friend strength and determination. Since the Supreme Lord in everyone's heart is witness to our actions, and hears our prayers, the voluntary austerity of fasting attracts attention. It's strange to me that special spiritual occasions in Vedic culture are celebrated by fasting. Even birthdays of very great saints, sages, avatars, and other bona-fide holy persons are observed by fasting, sometimes til sunset, sometimes til noon, or sometimes til midnight. Ms Eunhee, your story is extremely astonishing yet heartbreaking at the same time. All you ever wanted is to be treated like a normal and decent human being but in the dictatorship land there is none, therefore, you sought refuge in South Korea and hoping that you will be welcomed with mercy, love and justice by your fellow Southern brothers and sisters. Instead, they denied, scorned and rejected you as an outcast in all sections of society, all because of your nationality and they also presumed that you are affiliated directly with the Kim regime. Nevertheless, you persevered with fortitude and with God's grace, finally managed to adapt and settle in South Korea while continuing your fight for the freedom of your homeland. I salute and applaud you for your grace, serenity, magnanimity and resilience in speaking out the truth. Indeed, God will bless, defend and liberate you and your fellow neighbours who are still in captivity. Your heart is wounded but it will eventually heal through understanding and compassion from those who care. Lastly, I wish you well and may you be blessed in all the days of your life in the Name of Jesus Christ, Our Lord. Amen
