    That is one beautiful tractor. I agree with the previous comment about the external 3 point control because I don’t have a quick hitch.

  • @PurpleNovember
    @PurpleNovember 8 месяцев назад +1

    So true about getting it setup correctly from the beginning!
    The second 3-point lift controls come in handy if you use the 3-point for lifting with a boom or other implements, but not everyone does that. It’s also nice sometimes for moving trailers around depending on the trailer and situation (leveling stands on a travel trailer for one example).
    If the tilt for the 3-point is a threaded rod it’s easier having 3-point lift controls within arms reach when adjusting tilt. That comes back to correct setup from the beginning.

    Very nice machine with all the options done. Really like the loader ssqa hydro connect/disconnect. Hopefully you will make a tidy profit on this one. The rear external 3pt hitch raise & lower is. MUST HAVE in my world on cat 2 & cat 3 tractors and implements along with the PTO bump button. This will sell quickly as does all your equipment. 🔥🔥👍👍

    I have L6060 and I think the loader is the same number as yours. It's a really nice tractor. We are also looking at purchasing the M6-111 for our next one, move a lot of snow in northern Michigan.

    I think the external three point hitch controls would be really useful to a novice or when you don't have the quick attach.
    Disclaimer: I just do IT work and have never run a tractor. I like the videos!

    • @PurpleNovember
      @PurpleNovember 8 месяцев назад +2

      You are correct! The external controls are very useful if there is no quick hitch, novice or expert.

    The m5111 is my dream tractor for my ranch, small and big enough. Looking forward to seeing your thoughts on it.

    Congratulations on M5-111, smarter investment than the tracked one.
    I’m still in full support of tracked tractors. They’re very useful but tie up a lot of money.
    I could definitely use a full size utility with a hydro. Construction equipment uses hydrostatic drive well over 300hp in different applications but there’s plenty of cooling and the cost is just part of the game. An usable efficient hydrostatic drive on a full size utility tractor would probably add a good 40-60k or more. That’s almost doubling the price on some of these and the rest of the tractor would need to be made strong enough to be used for the type of work requiring a hydrostatic drive.

      The quad track does make me wonder how much harder the power steering has to work to turn the front tracks due to increased ground contact & associated friction/drag.

    • @PurpleNovember
      @PurpleNovember 8 месяцев назад +1

      @@InsanePacoTaco That’s a great question! The ones I was around never really showed anything to make me think it was an issue but that’s not really saying much. The ones I used had the same steering feel as rubber tire, but that’s not saying much either. I wouldn’t think it wouldn’t make much difference in most situations. The force of the tractor to the ground doesn’t change if the surface area is larger or smaller, but the shear strength of whatever the tractor is sitting on can change along with the coefficient of friction. But the ground contact is further away from the center of the rotation so the friction of increased ground contact may make a difference because of leverage.
      Good question for sure!

    Nice tractor. I wish I would have known . I bought a 2023 caseih 75c at the end of August. Oh well. Sweet tractor, especially with all the goodies you put on it. Love your channel. Keep up the good work.

    • @gregsteiger7829
      @gregsteiger7829 8 месяцев назад +2

      I do have a couple of pet peeves. 1) I don't like that you have to have a rod to poke in a hole to open the hood. Thanks from Europe I guess. 2) I don't like how the 2 hydraulic remotes are positioned on the back. I'll get used to it.

    • @PurpleNovember
      @PurpleNovember 8 месяцев назад

      @@gregsteiger7829 I know what you mean about the hood and the rear hydraulics. Maybe the rear hydraulics won’t be as bad after you get some time on the tractor. They seem like nice tractors.
      The rear hydraulic couplers can be moved. I’ve done ones similar to the 75c. It’s just a matter of fabricating a new bracket for the couplers and running hoses. The hard part is finding someone who will do it and make it look factory. Sometimes the dealers will do it and sometimes they won’t. It can be pricey though.
      I’m hoping a Case dealer opens closer to us soon. The closest one is a three hour drive but supposedly they are opening a second location i in n our area.

      They have the rear glass available almost $1500 for the rear 3 windows. The main is $400-$500 iirc. The defrost is unfortunately built right into the glass like the automotive world.
