you will find that this type of repair work is slow. To do it right takes time. If it was easy everybody would be doing it and it would be cheap to get it done. You are doing great and every body does it a little different depending on what the condition is that they are working on and how good they want the repair. Well, ...it might be much easier to trim the rust out equally on both sides and put a nice trim strip around the holes....Now you'll never have to worry about the engine overheating....Happy Thanksgiving, .........and if there's anything else I can help with just let me know....Don't be shy.....lol....(You're doing great work, by the way )...........
you will most likely find alot of rust behind those square plates also you needed to drill those spot welds you welded up to do the panel but not for the body mount .
