Good to hear from you, JP. I too am having trouble getting time to work on my car. Lawn mower repairs and maintenance is pressing for now as grass waits for no man. Good luck with the new project . Frank
I'm with you. Get out and enjoy driving. I just bought a '58 Tr3. Next week a friend and I will go & pick it up. I too, do not have great metal working skills. But you give me hope. Cheers!
My TR3 is gonna be so janky and thrown together looking compared to yours when I'm done lol dont even put the engine in it just swap it to an EV thats what im doing with mine, the tub and frame and suspension is done on yours thats the hard part just slap them body brackets and valances together its no biggie, the hardest part is making it an EV but even that shouldnt be too hard theoretically
Hey JP... glad you have a plan B to drive and enjoy while plan A gets sorted. Care Care and fingers crossed plan B starts and runs well.
Thx I definitely need to get something going….

Updates as you progress
So, are you going to be driving a TR3A in a couple of weeks then?
I wish that were the case, but if I can get the motor fired it won’t take a ton to get this one moving.
I think I remember breaking the brakes loose on that one when we picked it up?
Yep that was a fun day

I have ridden in a few and I really like that sound of the Tr3 Motor but who knows, the bolt up EV kits are really coming down in Price
