just so everyone knows, PRL just released a new V2 catless downpipe less then a week ago! PRL IS NOW AVAILABLE IN CATLESS AGAIN !! Also, keep up the fire videos tony, you’ll always be the best Si on RUclips.
Also check out power-stop brakes the evolution 23 I think they are called they are drilled and slotted rotors with carbon ceramic brake pads the front are like $139. And the rears are like $129. I have them on my car for about 6 months now and they stop so much better then the stock brakes and no dust or noise. Just a thought
Bro thank you much for making a video telling these new civic guys about how these turbo engines work. These guys are quick to throw a blow off valve is it will totally mess up your fuel trim.
really good talk man i have an EX with a ktuner and my prl cobra race intake is coming in this afternoon and i’ll finally be able to run my pherable 1.5 tune with it 🥴
Highly recommend the HKS Hi Flow - Pops and burbles and has a deep tone. I love it with the burned tips that I have. The other mods I have done are black rims, blacked out side markers, and Acuity upgrades to the shifter. Love it. 11:48 the face? hee hee
Got mine a about 2 weeks ago and I can second this comment I'm on stock dp and fp I also just did the acuity shifter cable bushings and I can say I love the shifter more now with just that. I don't think I'll do the full short shifter just the rocker spring and base bushings should do for me
Stumbled across your channel and honestly this is great content! I have a 6 speed Hatchback sport and it’s a great platform to modify. Keep up the uploads man 💯
Add a KTuner/Hondata next step should be a BBK IMHO. Easy to go fast/quick this gen. Stock brakes simply don't cut it once you're able to tune. My fave thing since KTuner v2 I've done without question. DIY Genesis BBK/GoodRidge SS lines.
Unfortunately for CARB you’d have to look up what exact part would effect the state you’re in. Catback exhausts in general will be fine. Anything after that will effect CARB
If I get Hondata, PRL: short Ram intake, front pipe and Intercooler (using stock piping) how much HP on 87 octane tune vs 91 octane tune? They say the intake adds 15 HP but there’s no way even if pared with a tune.
I know I'm going to get flamed by blind followers, but I added a TurboSmart bov and nothing detrimental has happened to my car in the last 15k miles it's been installed.
Hey thanks for the video as always great content. You should definitely use a gal of e85 per fill up if all you can get is 91. I have a 2019 si coupe with ktuner and the same tune from phearable (cant spell) and my knock was all over as well but I am in New York and use 93. So on a forum this guy was like use a gal and a half of e85 per fill up and since then knock control is at .49 I am having this weird thing from 3rd to4th the knock sometimes goes up to like .70 but then every gear after that it slowly goes back down to .49 within 10-15 mins of driving. What is your knock like?
My car is weird lol. I’ve been roughly .60-.70 after a pull or 2 but when I drive Normal. (I drive a lot on highway) it goes back down to .49 My last race it was about .84 😐
@@TdaKid yea wierd I’m having the same issue too and I drive to work and home taking the high way but it just started all of a sudden this week other past months have been at .49 and only putting 91 only no E85 when I do pulls on streets just goes to .59 and goes crazy like .54 and then after couple min driving goes to .53 then down all of a sudden
Thank you for mentioning base model and sport hatches too I’m looking into getting hatch and wanted to know if I could get these mods on a hatch that’s not an si
How much quicker did the downpipe make your car? I have prl intake/intercooler/tune currently and getting a prl catted downpipe installed Monday and I'm super excited
I was thinking to get a PRL intake with Hondata tuner. I actually don't want the exhaust. I also want the community to recommend and tell me what to do lol
hey bro, what clutch you looking at? I am fbo without upgraded turbo inlet pipe and bigger turbo. I also am holding off installing my prl flex fuel until i upgrade clutch. I’m located in Bay Area.

Also, I know it's not a "bolt on", but peeps should be aware of the weak clutch on these, based on the mods they're doing. Might wanna upgrade that puppy before upgrading the turbo!...from what I hear. ;-)
For the phereable tune, since I don't have 93 oct out here in Los Angeles, I read that you can mix a gallon of e85 and 91 oct. Would I need a flex fuel kit for this?
I have a 17 with full bolt ons and I have a flex fuel kit that I haven't installed yet until I get my new act clutch installed . What's a fair price for clutch install ? I was quoted about 1000$ . Does that seem about right ? Let me know if anyone has any input on the subject . Thanks
Thanks for all the awesome info! I also live communist California , what exhaust and down pipe are legal to run here ? Well Will pass smog in 2026 ? When I have to get a smog certificate. Thanks.
