Thank you for being brave enough to give larger people some representation when it comes to the parks. I always feel like it's pointless me going to a park because of my size so it's nice to see I'm not alone in that struggle
This is such a unique idea! And valuable for those who may not be in the right shape for theme parks. Honestly there is nothing more embrassing than being asked to leave a ride because you are too big... Thank you, I live in England so I proably won't visit this park, but if I do, I'm prepared :) 👍
Thanks for doing these type of vids. I just visited Busch gardens last Thursday and learned that they have ,(larger guest seats) on most all rides. Seat size is the same, however they have two straps instead of one and the bar doesn't have to come down as far. Glad they have these options. Not everyone is 200 lbs or less!
Thank you so much for making these!!! Especially because you seem to be the only one online that will tell us your dimensions AND actually sit in the seat :-)
@@ThemeParkExpress Santa Clara's great America. But I've been wanting to visit universal studios, but I'm also on the bigger side so it's embarrassing waiting in line just to find out you don't fit in the restraints. The fact that you are brave enough to video the restraints for bigger people is awesome I commend you on your efforts to provide information and as well to try out the seats so that other people our size won't feel uncomfortable or even if it's worth the tickets to go to these places where we might not even be able to enjoy the rides. Keep up the good work and I hope you reach your weight goals
Thank you so much for this!!! We are the same weight, I’m 3 inches shorter, and a woman’s shape is different so I’ll take all that into account but wow this helps!!! I know now I can ride probably half of them and that is invaluable. You’re a godsend 😊
So many people take this for granted... very much appreciated for doing this video. I'm a Disney passholder... there are zero issues at Disney (at least for me) on all rides, including Flight of Passage but after having to endure the walk of shame on cheetah hunt, I greatly appreciate this video. I am a bigger guy... big chest, big shoulders are mainly the problem. I will say the Busch Gardens employees will do everything they can to get you to fit... Cheetah Hunt is the smallest, hardest to fit for bigger guys.
Another excellent video! Loved the outtakes at the end lol. I would love to see a video on all the rides SeaWorld. At this point I've become spoiled and won't go to a park you haven't covered!
Thank you for making the parks more aware of a form of discrimination that many don’t understand! It’s helpful for their larger patrons. It would be nice for mor3 people tp actually be able to ride these after having paid soooo much to get in!
Thats not how that works Obesity is a health issue, therefore it is not discrimination to say you need to lose weight Adding onto that, its not the theme parks job to cater to fat peoples needs They have to cater to the majority while still maintaining safety
@@getoutim07 im on the taller side and I can't ride falcon's fury with the height maximum of 77" but even though I can't control my height I don't feel like its discrimination, yeah its a bummer but I still had fun that day

Just to clarify, in Montu it was said that when the seatbelts connect, you're good. That's not true. In order to successfully ride any rollercoaster, the magnetic locks on the restraint bars need to be able to be engaged fully. For example that Montu tester seat had another couple inches to go before the locks engaged.
Hey this video here was awesome thank you so much guy, cause I love rollercoasters but I haven't been to an amusement park in a few years and I put on some weight and I'm older now,I'm not 295 but I'm close I'm 270 but thanks cause this gave me an Idea if is even worth going to a amusement park or not this was very helpful.
Great video! I appreciate this. I am pretty close to your weight and build. I am a few inches taller. I really loved the bloopers as well. Great job. I am looking to see if you have one on Silver Dollar City also. 🤟😎🎸
I am 5’11, ~ 265lbs, 42 waist and 49 chest. Bigger in the legs. I fit on Montu, Cheetah Hunt and Shiekra with minor assistance from the attendants doing seatbelt checks. Could be due to my size, me being drunk, or both. I must say Shiekra is a very tight fit and uncomfortable for us big people for obvious reasons.
Bro... thank you so much for this video, it was super helpful. I think I still have a long way till I can fit on those rides but I appreciate you showing everyone.
as a person whose 6'1 275 i can fit on all of the rides in BG BTW the "robust gentleman's" chair locations Sheikra: 3rd and 6th seat on every row Cobras Curse: none(told me there were no ride restrictions) Chetah hunt: none (also told me there were no restrictions) Montu: some where in the middle of the train Kumba: also some where in the middle Falcon's fury: IDK never ridden it yet Scoripon: none at all.
Montu, as well as some others, does have seats with larger belts, you just have to ask an attendant. It's usually the third seat in the second to last row on Montu. Rows 4 & 5 on Sheikra.
im 6’4, 280 lb and just went this weekend and had a lot of uncomfortable rides. the worst by far was cheetah hunt. youd think with hydraulics theyd be able to increase the range of the harness but nope. surprisingly my belly wasnt the issue, but unfortunately i came home to painfully bruised shoulders. i needed help with kumba but thankfully that was just pressure on the stomach and the ride was relatively comfortable. the best ride by far was tigris. those comfort collars have an extremely comfortable range and i was even able to get some of the sorely missed air time that more restrictive restraints have taken from me. montu and shiekra were both closed so didnt get to them but i believe ill at least be able to do shiekra next time. preview weekend for iron gwazi is less than 2 weeks away for my season pass so hopefully that wont be a let down. rode steel vengeance at cedar point relatively easily so im hoping the restraints use the same dimensions. its really annoying that this is still a problem. obviously obesity wont be going away anytime soon and the whole process of trying to squeeze someone into a seat and then releasing the restraints so they can get off and then having to recheck the restraints of that row eats into the time spent on each dispatch, making everyone have to wait longer. its a bit more understandable on rides that have been around for awhile, but newer rides or rides that are being renovated dont really have any excuse other than stubbornness
Falcons fury does have seatbelt extenders I just rode it and had to use one and also Congo river rapids had seatbelt extenders too not sure about the other rides

Yeah, this info is great and all, if the ride operators wouldnt tell you that they cant accommodate your size, which I knew was a lie. I dont know when the next time is that I will ever darken the gates of BG of Tampa Bay because of this. They are trained to help with all situations and obviously I was dealing with staff that dont care to help guests.
Hey just as an FYI on the restraints for Kumba, Kumba was the first of it's kind when it opened up. Since then the manufacturer, B&M, has build many of these roller coaster types and adjusted the way their seats and restraints are designed. So there may be quite the difference between the way the restraints work.
