I adore having this as my home park, and one time i was there on a weekday and rode Montu about 13 times in a row and passed out-and I'd do it again. I adore that yellow and blue thing
@6:30 fun fact about Cobra's Curse and the smell. There used to be a walk-through exhibit that replicated the tomb of King Tut where the queue is now. They created an artificial smell to help sell the illusion you're in a previously undisturbed tomb of a dead guy and after some decades it's just permanently seeped into the walls. I get nostalgic walking through that queue from the smell alone.
@@FaceRippedOffI was there Friday…unfortunately it was running and I made myself do it. Drop is great but fuck hanging there facing the ground. That’s the bad part
I grew up at this park visiting every weekend or skipping school to sneak over on days when it felt like you were the only person there. We would ride Montu back to back 10x in a row! Gwazi wasn't Iron Gwazi yet but still a ton of fun! Kumba wasn't nearly as rough as it is now (or maybe I'm just old 😅) and there was an awesome water ride called tidal wave that you could stand on the bridge under the drop and get absolutely drenched!! It's such a beautiful park with all the gardens and animal exhibits. Now that I've seen your review, I've got to get back and ride Iron Gwazi!!
You absolutely need to go and ride Iron Gwazi. One of the best coasters in the world. Love hearing these stories of everyone's experiences with the park growing up. Makes me so happy!
On Kumba there’s a spot where if you’re sitting on the right most seat in the row as you go into a right turn right at ground level (14:10 mark) if you hold your arm out to your right towards the ground static electricity comes up from the ground. You feel it, you hear it. Next time you’re in town try it. I’ve felt it, my kid felt it. It’s a thing. Cheers!
I am SO glad I clicked on this video. This is my local park and I fuckn LOVE how chill you are showing off all the coasters. It's hard to come by coaster vids like this. Instantly subbed.. you're gonna make it for sure.
Grew up not too far, went almost every weekend growing up. Some fun coasters honestly, but you have to go on a slow day, or its gonna be packed. Montu front row is still the best experience.
Florida man here, me and friends go here like 4-5 times a year and we have never ridden this much rides in 1 day purley cause we manage to schedule on busy days, cool to see somone on the front lines posting on this and glad you had a fun time there shits hella fun! This was my home park for over a decade until I moved out to the west coast, and Montu still remains as my favorite inverted coaster I’ve ever been on - I remember going to Howl O’ Scream and skipping all the scare zones specifically to ride Montu seven or eight times, feeling that loop over and over again. Definitely reliving it now through your video so thanks so much for your awesome content as your chill vibes and awesome music intro and personality are Grate™️ 😅
Luckily got to ride it 3 years ago! So being able to experience that seperate from childhood memories and as an adult to appreciate all the inversions and the engineering prowess that it had when it originally came out. I moved across the country like... 14 years ago so sadly can't go to the parks as often as I'd like 😅 but it makes the trips far more special now. Super excited to go to Magic Mountain here next spring (for the first time, yes I've been sleeping on that for this long) so watching your video on that park was awesome too! @@FaceRippedOff
This is my local park💗 Your reaction to Iron Gwazi was EXACTLY MINE TOO. I didn’t even know what to say after my first ride but I was instantly obsessed. Ive also felt how it warms up later in the day, you’re literally getting ripped out of your seat and can barely hold on and it’s amazing🎢
Florida resident here, have seen the parks grow. Iron gwazi is insane, it has no mid course brake run so you do that initial drop and just madness ensues afterwards. Montu is old but still absolutely holds up, those inversions are a rush. Possibly the best inverted coaster ever. I also had the same thoughts with cheetah hunt, it's not too intense but really gorgeous ride
Montu is great to ride once per day, it's also one of the older rides in the park so it doesn't have as long of a line if any, which makes it easy to ride multiple times back to back and get a mad headache. I've done this, it was fun but never again lol.
Kumba and Montu truly are two of the best rides around. Montu makes you feel like a soaring and graceful bird while kumba has you feeling like a fucking stallion barreling through a valley.
What a different walk through and in a good way. I didn't know what to really expect with that intro, I am a old metalhead/punk, but you're the guy I want to go to a park with.
Wow, this video randomly popped in my feed and I'm so glad I clicked on it. This was so chill and you seem like a guy who would be so much fun to be friends with. I've lived in Florida near the Tampa area literally all my life. (I'm 27 now.) And only had ever been to Busch Gardens a handful of times when I was a pre-teen, since my mom had gotten us an annual pass. I was always too scared to really ride anything though at that age. I've since (mostly.) gotten over that fear. This video was so fun and has made me realize I've been missing out on some amazing shit just a short drive away from me. I will be finding time to make a trip to the park ASAP thanks to this video. You're awesome dude, please keep making content.
super glad youtube recommended me this video. bgt is my home park, and even though i really like the concept of roller coasters, i still havent gotten my confidence up to get on most of them. loved your commentary on the park.
@@bogusWasHere you should try some of the coasters! Start with cobras curse, then do cheetah hunt, then SheiKra or kumba, then you can do any coaster in the world tbh. Personally, I think gwazi is super forgiving because it’s so smooth and flowy. It’s intense but it’s so so fun! Go at your own pace and just know that you’re gonna be safe. Coasters are safer than walking down the street!
@@bogusWasHere BGT has a lot of great smaller stuff to start with. Phoenix rising can get u used to hanging your feet like Montu. Kumba has the positive gs. Sheikra has the big drop. Cheetah hunt has the airtime.
@@FaceRippedOff thanks for the tips. ive only ever been on scorpion, which was enough for me to get over a fear of inversions, and phoenix rising, which, like u said, got me used to dangling feet. cobra's curse is definitely up next for me, and cheetah hunt looks awesome, i just need to get over how tall it looks. iron gwazi is absolutely the ultimate goal, just because i feel like an asshole having one of the best coasters in the world in my backyard, and an annual pass, and i've just never ridden it.
@@bogusWasHere do cobras curse next and then cheetah hunt and then sheikra to help with the heights. Cheetah hunts stays low to the ground for the most of it. Sheikra is big but it’s very graceful. It’ll be scary but you got it! My girlfriend is afraid of the height aspect of coasters but she always comes off loving it! And if you do it and you hated it, then you know it’s not for you.
Love that intro! Sick review thanks man, going today with a sister who is a bit apprehensive about coasters. This is a big help for working our way up and knowing where to stop lol. Also love the BTS reference!!! 😂
If you ever go back to BGT when Falcon's Fury is open you have to ride it. It's so much fun. I could marathon that ride all day. There could be something wrong with me, but it feels less intense dropping while facing down. I love it.
Montu is just insane. I sitll remember every second of that coaster after not having been to the park since 09. During the batwing section there was this metal plate on the ground that would rattle so loud as the train flew past it. It created this INSANE roaring sound, and the trains just felt like they were going 1000 mph through there. I can see its not there anymore. Then it goes into this break run that prepares you for the corkscrews, and you're just flying through that bit. The entire ride is so memorable, lost track how many times I've been on it. My favorite rides were the night rides before the park closed, it just felt faster. And I loved the twinkling lights of the park, and little lights positioned throughout the track like on the break runs. Whole thing is such a goddamn vibe. The only inverted track that has given me a similar experience, including the night time experiences, is in Busch Gardens Virginia with the ride Alpengeist. That ride kicks asss. Top three thrills in my life are that, Montu and I305. I had no idea about I305 before I went on it, it was just this ride in the back of Kings Dominion with seemingly no queue line haha, seemed innocent. Kumba and Shiekra were my first go to's in the park right when it would open. My friend and I would be the only two kids on Shiekra bright and early. Shame about your first kumba ride. Seems like the track is deteriorating, I've heard they plan on removing it. I remember it being a little shaky in 09 but it was still smooth enough to enjoy a lot. This is making me wanna fly down to Tampa for a day or two just to revisit. There's so many new rides there I would love to go on. Definitely make your way up to Busch Gardens Virginia though, you'll fucking love it. Shiekra has my heart for Dive coasters still to this day but Griffon and Alpengeist seriously goated
Kumba has 1 train that is definitely more rough for some reason. Been that way for years. The back row is rough, but that's why I like it. Though I often feel really motion sick after. One of my favorite rides, but I really have to space out rerides on it
Montu was the first coaster I ever rode in 8th grade back in 1999. I went last week and rode it again for the first time since then. Hit so much harder than I remember. Maybe because I'm 38 and that stuff effects me more now.
Haha, this is my local park. I used to go all the time as a kid but I'm not as big into theme parks anymore. Glad you liked it! I personally think the place took a downturn after Annheuser Busch sold it, but it's still a nice park. Took me ages as a kid to get the nerve to go on Sheikra but it's one of my favorite coasters at the park now.
I done falcons fury once...If you really want adrenaline and are afraid of falling from heights that is one sick ride man cool and fun as hell with awesome views..
Really enjoyed this video! BG is my home park and love that you enjoyed it. My biggest tip to anyone is to not hold onto anything on Kumba - don't you dare touch that restraint lmao - makes it way smoother!
I literally used to work at BGT and Phoenix Rising is their more family friendly ride!! The day it opened after work they let all of the employees ride it a couple times and we got free tshirts :) ALSO, they HATE closing the park even if there’s barely anyone in there. We’ve been opened when it’s literally pouring rain and all you can do is go to the gift shop.
I love BGT. Love how close it is to USF. Back when I was a student I went EVERY WEEKEND. The pass is SO WORTH. And Howl o' Scream also slaps every year.
@@TheMeanderingduck6 I feel that! When I saw how close USF was, I was like damn if I went there for school I would have worked at BGT and gone all the time!
Randomly stumbled on this video. Busch Gardens Tampa is my home park and I feel BLESSED to have this place close by. But yeah, dude you had me laughing over and over love the content and glad you warmed up to Kumba (been my favorite ride forever). Left ya a sub you rock 🤙

@@FaceRippedOff Never been out to CA but that ride looks wild. Being close to Kumba, Montu, and the Hulk made me a megafan of the old B&Ms. Looking forward to your next adventure and hopefully you make it back out to the Sunshine State sometime soon!
@ oh man I’d take BGT over any of my home parks. I love my home parks a lot but BGT is just so so good! Same with islands of adventure. That video will come out tomorrow or the next day!
This is my home park, the first time I rode the iron gwazi was at hallow scream in the middle of the night. I didn't know what the track looked like so it was just pure Terror the entire time. It literally felt like I was going to have a heart attack, I grew up riding of these rides my whole life, and I had been on the old Kwasi a few times, I never liked it cuz it was too shaky and I had a bad experience on it one time. But the iron gwazi was like next level. Unforgettable and so much force plus nowhere to hold onto!
After I rode Iron Gwazi for the first time I was making the 4 hour round trip drive twice a week to ride this as much as possible. I got like 400 rides in 6 months. I thought nothing could touch it but I gotta say I do prefer Velocicoaster. I mean, it's kinda apples and oranges cuz they're so different and I fuckin love Gwazi. But VC has the best seats. They're so open and freeing and your body gets thrown around like a rag doll so it feels more intense.
Hell yeah I'm glad we got some Kumba appreciation. That used to be my favorite ride in the park until they built Iron Gwazi. The sheer intensity is insane. I always get tunnel vision at the bottom of the first drop. Its a shame the track is so rough. Everyone I ride with always complains about it. I'm fairly tall, so my head doesn't get banged around in the restraints so much. Which means my favorite coaster always has a short line even on busy days. I just hope they don't end up closing it down. Would be great if they could fix it so that it gets more of the recognition it deserves.
Bushy G's is my home park.. been on all the rides for the past 30 years. remember when Kumba was brand new and all you had was scorpion, python and kumba... I was at BG once when it was closed to the public and i was able to ride kumba 14 times in a row without getting off... that was my limit... i could have rode it infinitely that day and on the 14th run i felt like i might die... love it. great content!
Kumba and Montu are BnM goats. That is a hill I will fight and die on. Cheetah, Cobra, and Shiekra are also fantastic. I’ve not been there in years so I haven’t ridden new Gwazi, Tigris or Phoenix yet. Shame you didn’t get to ride Scorpion. For a smaller coaster it was surprisingly intense. I’m actually sad that it’s closing.
Is cobra’s curse the one where you like come face to face with the stone snake then drop? My friend was saying how fun it was. Also this is my first vid I’ve seen from you, and your content is amazing!
Sick video bro! This is my local park for the last 30 yrs. Used to get the year pass and jump over there every weekend for a while. Agree with your rankings too - you shoulda seen when Iron Gwazi was just Gwazi, that shit was incredibly violent/shaky and headache inducing (but still somehow fun). Definitely better now that it's been redone. Would love to ride along with you if you're ever back bro! Cheers and happy riding
I’m glad someone pointed out the batwing being underwhelming. Always heard how crazy it was and I’ve always thought that it’s just ok. The silver bullet helix is definitely more intense
i always watch these kinds of videos to see if i'm in them but your commentary had me locked in. i totally agree with you on kumba, all my coworkers hate her except for me :( she just needs a retracking and refurbished trains. also your burger analogy about iron gwazi and steel vengeance is spot on. i love both rides equally but steel vengeance is more enjoyable simply because there's more to it, (and it has a better name). i'm glad you had a good time despite the depressing atmosphere, i swear it's not our fault they're just stubborn and refuse to close the park on days when only like 3 people show up... but it's days like those when i'd call off work or skip school just to go marathon the rides back when i was a pass holder
Yeah idk the atmosphere wasn’t awful. Just felt dead. I am very ok with that for walk on rides all day! Every six flags park except fiesta Texas has a much worse atmosphere lol.
My home park with my fave rides AND a ska mention? That's like half my personality. Your videos are a great new find - refreshing compared to a lot of other enthusiast vids!
@FaceRippedOff haha how am I supposed to choose! I love big d, the planet Smashers, soul radics, the hippos, the suicide machines...and some love to some local ska: victims of circumstance and the duppies are always on my Playlist. But I love all waves and things that are skadjacent!
I’m so excited! I will be going here in a couple weeks, and I could see Gwazi anywhere from 3-1 in my rankings, no lower, the 2 with potential to keep ahead of it are ArieForce One, and Velocicoaster!
@@FaceRippedOff Something that will make Gwazi a big milestone for me… First coaster 200+ feet! Also you got a new subscriber, great channel, and video!
I was kind of sad at the beginning cause you didn't like Kumba and it's actually my favorite one, so I'm so happy that you ranked it so high in the end!! 🙌🏽 Not just cause it's a great ride, but the line goes so fast that you can immediately get back on in like 5-10 mins, which is great compared to 60-90 mins for the more popular coasters. Try the Serengeti Flyer next time you're there, it's just a giant swing, but it's sooo nice, especially when it's scorching outside and you need to cool down! Great video!! 🫶🏽
Kumba is goated dude. You're so right about the Serengeti Flyer though. It looks simple and boring but when you actually ride it its super fun. It pushes you into the ground at like 60+ mph. Its always a highlight of a Busch Gardens trip for me now.
@@brettzolstick989 def gotta go back to ride it. I love those little pirate ship flat rides and Serengeti flyer looks like a way more insane version of that lol. I’m so down
As a tampa local my only real context for parks is like Busch Gardens, the Universal parks, and Disney World (which is a pretty rare visit for me). Never really even considered that Busch Gardens would be a notable park wrt coasters. They are really fucking good tho. Haven't been since they redid Gwazi (I remember when it was a wood coaster and that shit was liable to give you CTE lmao), but this has me wanting to go again
You’ve gotta go for iron gwazi. That one ride was worth the trip for me. BGT is a contender for me for my fav non universal park. I don’t think it’s fair to compare anything else to universal other than Disney.
Tigris wasn't opened? Also Disney does have a spinning coaster like Cobra's Curse. Cosmic Rewind, it's at Epcot and that coaster is the best one I've done. I feel like I'm floating in space the entire time and it's butter smooth.
@@theskullspookychannel6343 Tigris was open. Didn’t want to do it since I’ve done an exact clone of it already at sea world SD. Guardians is an amazing ride! The spin is controlled though. I wish Disney could get the same model that cobras curse is. I should have clarified that in the video lol
@FaceRippedOff oh okay, atleast Universal is getting a free spinning coaster in Epic Universe next year. Cosmic Rewind is still going to be my spinning coaster pick, don't care if it's controlled. As long as I get to see the action happen in front of my eyes.
I LOVE the montu so much it's my favorite roller coaster ever and I'm a Florida resident. One of the other reasons I love montu so much is whenever I come, there is NEVER a line longer than 10-20 minutes for it! Everyone's always too terrified of it! I took my boyfriend the week after you went and he's a roller coaster hater, I was able to convince him to go on the montu with me and that changed his perspective to a rollercoaster lover and that's how he found this video! The kumba is also the only rollercoaster that will never fail to make me puke after. Not sure why and it sucks because I love the kumba but the kumba doesn't love me.
Best coaster park in Florida by far, overall I like the Busch in Virginia better even though I live 90 minutes from the Tampa park but its still an excellent park. The skyride was free for all but it was shut down for like 5 years so I assume the $5 charge for non passholders was to pay for the repair/refurb it got.
The best part about Busch Gardens is that I’ve never gotten a heat stroke there. Went to Sea World when I was a kid. Got heatstroke. Went to Disney recently. Got heatstroke. Busch Gardens has plenty of shade it’s great. Also it’s home to the only roller coaster my wimpy ass can ride, Sand Serpent.
@@FaceRippedOff WHAT i no longer have a reason to go. I think the size of Disney contributes to the risk of heatstroke especially if you're like me and have a weakness to heat and 0 stamina. I've never struggled with Busch Gardens in that regard, there were hot days but there were a lot of places to take breaks or be in the shade + the congo ride which isn't too scary and gets you a few splashes. When I went to Disney a bit ago I even came prepared with a spray fan, and drank plenty of water yet it still ended with that result. This was in magic kingdom though so idk if it's any different in other parks.
In case anyone is wondering, Serengeti flyers has been closed for months with no announcement of it re-opening. No one truly knows the reason for it. I am so happy that I decided to ride it in May 2024. It closed shortly after. That ride is INSANE.
I just got a platinum pass since I moved in the area recently. I’ve never seen so many people from the UK before. This is the first time I’ve been in almost 10 years. I’m sure they make the bulk of their profits during the summer and holidays.
I love the vibe you brought in man Chilled, laid back, great energy, freaking hilarious all around its awesome BGT is my home park and I love it. But those prices for merch, food and beverage and those surcharges? Ouch But the ride lineup is worth it. Also I agree with Cheetah Hunt’s horrible OTSR’s those things are an abomination and I’m 6’6. If that had the soft strap like Maverick and I305 then it would be a much enjoyable ride but the park doesn’t want to spend the money for it (mainly cause the person running it is cheap) Also yes Iron Gwazi is bat crap amazing. Death roll is demented and the ride from start to finish is just amazing. No filler, no repetition, just pure fun. As far as the whole Iron Gwazi and Velocicoaster thing. It depends which manufacturer you like more If you like Intamin more you’ll like Velocicoaster more and if you like RMC more you’ll like Iron Gwazi. One other note SV is not bad but lately the ops have to staple you and it’s a pain to deal with, at BGT they give you minimum clearance for all that juicy airtime. Again loved the video and enjoy the rest of the Florida trip Dillon
There’s paid lockers in front of all the coasters for you to put your stuff in. You pay like $12 and you get a movable locker all day. So you put your stuff in a locker when you ride, take it out, and then put it in a different locker when you get to the next ride. As far as the Sony camera goes, do you mean taking it on ride? At BGT you can only take secure cameras onto rides that are mounted on you in some way.

First video I’ve seen from you and instantly subscribed… then realized you’re just over 1,000 subs. Killing it man, video quality is great and compared to some other coaster RUclipsrs you seem to not have a giant stick up your cheeks. Best of luck! Looking forward to seeing your future adventures
@@Clairify_E love this comment. I hope u get to go back and ride Montu soon. Such an amazing ride!
@ magic mountain is so great for coasters!! Absolutely gotta do X2, twisted colossus, Wonder Woman, full throttle, and tatsu.
I love BGT so much, it’s a one of a kind in Florida. I’m glad to hear you enjoyed it!
Your commentary was so good! Loved your video! Iron Gwazi does truly f***ING slap!
@@Gabbaliciouss gwazi is a flawless experience start to finish! Jealous you get to have it at your home park!
Grew up going to Busch Gardens, have always had an amazing time.
This comment rules hahaha
I live about 30 mins from this park, absolutely adore it
Love these vids!!!! The intro has got the be the best intro on a RUclips video!
@@Daniel_Coasters I appreciate u!
What a different walk through and in a good way. I didn't know what to really expect with that intro, I am a old metalhead/punk, but you're the guy I want to go to a park with.
Most relatable coaster RUclipsr. Just a dude that likes coasters.
Im so glad you enjoyed the video. Get out to the park asap!! It is such a great time.
Nice video! The new guardians of the galaxy ride at Epcot is kind of like the Cobra's Curse one, but more fun imo. Busch Gardens is sick!
Guardians is an incredible ride! I got to ride it last year.
super glad youtube recommended me this video. bgt is my home park, and even though i really like the concept of roller coasters, i still havent gotten my confidence up to get on most of them. loved your commentary on the park.
Damn! Your content is awesome! Normally I don’t comment on videos, but I couldn’t believe you had that “few” subscribers… keep up your amazing work!
I appreciate u! Just started doing this in September. Very excited to see where it goes!
Love that intro! Sick review thanks man, going today with a sister who is a bit apprehensive about coasters. This is a big help for working our way up and knowing where to stop lol. Also love the BTS reference!!! 😂
Thank u! Glad I could help out in some way. I hope you have a good time at the park!
If you ever go back to BGT when Falcon's Fury is open you have to ride it. It's so much fun. I could marathon that ride all day. There could be something wrong with me, but it feels less intense dropping while facing down. I love it.
@@veloceon325 I love that shit. I’ve def gotta go back and check it out
Montu is just insane.
@@marshall881 dang Montu is a wild first coaster. Mine was Matterhorn at Disneyland.

Iron Gwazi is my favorite coaster of all time.
that persona music is a nice touch 🎶
Going through the tunnel on Kumba at night is definitely a cool experience (the roar at night is even more intense)!
@@austinhersh22 good advice! I’ll have to try that out next time

My home park. Montu is such a ride!
watching this video was almost as fun as going to the park 🙏
Love that! I appreciate u!
@FaceRippedOff Oh no it was THE SPOT. Back when Anheuser still owned it and had the horses you could pet, it was such a great time.
iron gwazi is one of the greatest coasters ever, gives velocicoaster a run for its money
@@alec_884 I appreciate ur comment and kindness! I’m also glad I warmed up to Kumba cause I really wanted to love it going in. Wish I had it at my home park. Closest thing I’ve got is riddlers revenge.
The view you get on Shiekra in the front row at night is amazing.
Also the persona music goes hard
@@brettzolstick989 Kumba is so sick. The back is rough but tbh not as rough as an old arrow like viper at magic mountain. Kumba is so sick
That’s amazing! I was bummed I didn’t get to ride scorpion. I don’t think I could do 14 rides on Kumba lol

@ do cobras curse, then phoenix rising, then cheetah hunt, then Montu. If you do that then you’ll be good to do anything in the park
On Kumba you have to put your arms up the entire ride! Someone told me to do that and you literally hover above the seat the whole ride. So awesome
Do Cheetah Hunt in the dark if you ever can! There's little light on the track and it feels like your flying or some shit, really awesome.
I’m glad someone pointed out the batwing being underwhelming. Always heard how crazy it was and I’ve always thought that it’s just ok. The silver bullet helix is definitely more intense
Silver bullet the goat
i always watch these kinds of videos to see if i'm in them but your commentary had me locked in. i totally agree with you on kumba, all my coworkers hate her except for me :( she just needs a retracking and refurbished trains. also your burger analogy about iron gwazi and steel vengeance is spot on. i love both rides equally but steel vengeance is more enjoyable simply because there's more to it, (and it has a better name). i'm glad you had a good time despite the depressing atmosphere, i swear it's not our fault they're just stubborn and refuse to close the park on days when only like 3 people show up... but it's days like those when i'd call off work or skip school just to go marathon the rides back when i was a pass holder

I’m so excited! I will be going here in a couple weeks, and I could see Gwazi anywhere from 3-1 in my rankings, no lower, the 2 with potential to keep ahead of it are ArieForce One, and Velocicoaster!

Love your videos so darn much
I was kind of sad at the beginning cause you didn't like Kumba and it's actually my favorite one, so I'm so happy that you ranked it so high in the end!! 🫶🏽
Kumba was so awesome! I wish I could have done Serengeti flyer. It was closed when I went. Definitely need to go back.
Kumba is goated dude. You're so right about the Serengeti Flyer though. It looks simple and boring but when you actually ride it its super fun. It pushes you into the ground at like 60+ mph. Its always a highlight of a Busch Gardens trip for me now.

My home park, great vid 🙂

Haha sand serpent is gone! Phoenix Rising replaced it. Also, I'd argue that Disney has the most options for shade/AC than any of the parks in Florida.
Next time I would also check out the Serengeti Flyers. Sick airtime straight into positive G’s one of their most intense experiences for sure
I wish I could have done it. It was closed when I went. Milton brought a bunch of sand into the ride area.
In case anyone is wondering, Serengeti flyers has been closed for months with no announcement of it re-opening. No one truly knows the reason for it. I am so happy that I decided to ride it in May 2024. It closed shortly after. That ride is INSANE.
Another W for Busch Gardens
I just got a platinum pass since I moved in the area recently. I’ve never seen so many people from the UK before. This is the first time I’ve been in almost 10 years. I’m sure they make the bulk of their profits during the summer and holidays.
I love the vibe you brought in man
Chilled, laid back, great energy, freaking hilarious all around its awesome
BGT is my home park and I love it. But those prices for merch, food and beverage and those surcharges? Ouch
But the ride lineup is worth it.
Also I agree with Cheetah Hunt’s horrible OTSR’s those things are an abomination and I’m 6’6. If that had the soft strap like Maverick and I305 then it would be a much enjoyable ride but the park doesn’t want to spend the money for it (mainly cause the person running it is cheap)
Also yes Iron Gwazi is bat crap amazing. Death roll is demented and the ride from start to finish is just amazing. No filler, no repetition, just pure fun.
As far as the whole Iron Gwazi and Velocicoaster thing. It depends which manufacturer you like more
If you like Intamin more you’ll like Velocicoaster more and if you like RMC more you’ll like Iron Gwazi.
One other note
SV is not bad but lately the ops have to staple you and it’s a pain to deal with, at BGT they give you minimum clearance for all that juicy airtime.
Again loved the video and enjoy the rest of the Florida trip
Dillon
Can you bring like a Sony camera when you go? Like at universal studios? Or do you have only 1 locker in the park to store everything?
There’s paid lockers in front of all the coasters for you to put your stuff in. You pay like $12 and you get a movable locker all day. So you put your stuff in a locker when you ride, take it out, and then put it in a different locker when you get to the next ride.
As far as the Sony camera goes, do you mean taking it on ride? At BGT you can only take secure cameras onto rides that are mounted on you in some way.
