    Thanks so much for this tutorial! I'm working on a 7-segment display and wanted to animate moving its parts using mechanical arms, but I didn't know how to do them. Your tutorial really helped me accomplish this😉

      Haha I found it! Maybe I'll understand and use bones one day. But for pistons and gears constraints are the key.

    very interesting tek. But adding those constraints to all the bolts (without even copying attributes) seems too much, I'd join all bolts and the part they are attached to into on mesh and have one constraint on that. I think that would work as well, can't think of anything that would make it not work.

      Yeah definitely join meshes! I've been working on the pistons kit and it's looking really nice. I want to make some really advanced setups using constraints and make some cool scifi mechanical animations. I have a previous video on how to use it for correct gear animations.
