- Huion created a Pen Display with a computer built in! This all-in-one drawing PC is a first for Huion. How does the drawing experience hold up for digital artists? I go through a full technical breakdown and pen test.

Ohhh I keep eyeing this as a mobile option. I have a cintiq but wanted a mobile option that didn’t need a computer. the iPad Pro just feels too small for me🥲 how does Huions pen pressure really compare to cintiq?? It looks pretty decent in your video!

I can't tell if this would be good for the all in one or should I just get a tablet and keep my laptop.
Hmmm, you might be better off with a laptop and a separate display. It’s not mobile really but I guess it depends where you write.

Do you know if you can edit videos (videoprograms like after effect, premiere pro, etc,...) well on this model?
You can but you might start running into hardware limitations making it slow.

I'm an artist and coder seriously considering the Kamvas Studio 22- I understand that this can't run intensive games, but would it stand to messing around in Unity with 2D and 3D assets and programming? I'd like to eventually build a 2D game by combining my skill sets and my current equipment crashes when I run Unity (older Laptop with Linux on it). Thanks for any input!
I don’t know. Is there a particular reason you need an all-in-one vs. a pc with a Kamvas display?
So, it has it's own computer and windows system. But, isn't it too big for potability?

They only made this one version. It can be moved but I wouldn’t travel with it. The hardware is getting a little long in the tooth though.

The wacom has Intel core i7, but its costs 3.500€ and its smaller

That is a huge budget difference. If money is no object, you could always take the mobile studio with you or attach a display to it. Do you need to be mobile?
Not sure how this one does over time, but the Wacom mobile studio has heating issues since it's running an i7 with no cooling options.
I’m not a fan of the Wacom Mobile Studio pro for that exact reason. I dislike the Surface Books as well. Too much money for that battery to eventually expand.

This has a built in windows pc so anything that runs on windows. I’m the video I lay out the use cases but remember, pc hardware doesn’t age well so make sure you check the system requirements.
When you said light 3d work would you saynit could be used for zbrush?
It can but it might be weak in the gpu for complex work. It will run but for high end stuff? I don’t think it has the horsepower.
Would you be able to play games on this? Along with drawing on it of course. Like Genshin Impact, or Friday Night Funkin, or even Roblox? Or does this not work like that? I figured it would be able to run games like a regular computer.. im not too picky about mouses, or keyboards. But is it possible to replace them if they get bad?
You can use any mouse and KB. For games, if it was a non heavy graphics games, sure. Anything heavy I would say no.
@@CreateNowSleepLater whats an example of a heavy graphics game? The one i would play most if i got this tablet runs on the option of 30 FPS, or 60 FPS
Oh and if the game is heavy graphics, would it completely stop me from running the game? Or would it be possible? I dont really care about quality, im just looking for a bigger screen to play on since im moving from my iphone 6s plus, and the graphics are horrible, and it runs very slow. So im not being picky here 😅
@@CreateNowSleepLater i just looked up that the game as a requirement of a minimum of a NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030. If the tablet has lower than that, would the game be impossible to run? Or would it be possible, and just not have that good of graphics
It’s def lower than a 1030. You might be able to run it at super low settings. No totally sure honestly.
Thanks for your video. Drawing is a hobby for me. I am using an iPad Pro 12.9" Pro (2021) since one year and I like it :-) For gesture drawing or contour drawing it is sometimes to small also I am using the portrait mode. Than I must use the transfer tools in proceate to make the body parts smaller. Therefore I am looking for an alternative where the screensize is bigger. I want to use the Kamwan Studio 22 with laptop stand on the couch or outside on the terrace. Therefore I consider to buy the Huion Kamvas Studio 22 because I can set up it very easy on different places in my flat. But than I compared the size of both devices. iPad 12.9": 280.6 x 214.9mm . Huion Kamwas Studio 22 active size: 476.64 x 268.11 mm. If you can use the Kamvan only in landscape mode than I gues I woud have not advantages for gesture drawing ? Or how do you deal with that? Do I overthink it? Or must I life with the transform tool independ of the size. Until I buy the very expensive Microsoft Surface Studio with 28"?

I read the manual of the Kamvas Studio 22 and you can use it also in portrait mode
I wouldn’t call that device mobile unless you mean like one desk to another. It can be used portrait in the software sure but it’s 22”. I’m not sure you need to do that. That is an awfully big portrait. Remember your tools are docked on the sides. You don’t need to physically move the device in portrait mode. Anyway, I’m not sure what the price of this is but you can probably build a new desktop and get the regular Huion display for the cost. I’m not sure what you mean by mobile though.
@@CreateNowSleepLater I know what you are meaning :-) My goal was to move the drawing tablet from one desk to another desk in the flat. Of course it is not the same like with an android or apple tablet :-)
Today I was in a shop and test the new Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. For its size (14.5") it is very light. I draw in clip studio in portrait mode, the size is enough for me and I could not recognice any latency. Seems that apple gets a competitor :-)
Yeah man, that Kamvas studio is not going away to move at all. I mean you can but you would have all the wires and stuff.
Can we draw with it without keyboard ?
It’s a full computer and pen display. You need a keyboard just like any computer for windows but you can draw with just the pen.
Hi there! Wanna buy it in the end of 2022, but I’m afraid of negative reviews, that after 2 years it won’t work or that Huion doesn’t answer and guaranty is already over and etc.. idk what to do, wacoms one in one are at least 2,5k dollars, and it’s freaking a lot!

Hiya Maria. That review is now almost 2 years old which for pen displays doesn’t make much difference. From a PC computer perspective it does. Is there a reason you are targeting and all-in-one?
@@CreateNowSleepLater yeah, my boss is thinking that its much easier to buy it one time, than graphic monitor + computer or my personal laptop. I was the one who gave him this idea, but I didn't know yet all information about it :'D
And i'm a 2D artist, so just for drawing and like discord or spotify running on second plan.
I'm not sure I agree. Whats changed my mind is Huion and XPPen has improved their displays beyond the pen tech here. For the price, you could get a 22" Huion or XPPen plus a much better PC. This way if you outgrow one, you dont need to replace the entire thing. I have a number of 22" reviews on my channel. Anything out in the last year is just a much better experience.

they should have lowered this down to 999.99 or 799.99 or hell 699.99 it would have made it harder to choose between it and an ipad pro
but at that price you just can't beat an ipad i mean the only advantage it has is photoshop and illustrator brushes but ipad pro already has something similar but... it dosn't have that big of a display i'll give it that
It’s very hard to compete with annually updated hardware to begin with. Look at the Wacom mobile studio pro which is 3k and using a very old Intel gen.
I will have to not recommend this product; I had this device (spent $1400 including taxes) and it worked well, but only lasted just about 2 years before it went black, never to turn on ever again. HUION customer service was one email a day (no matter how desperate you are) and usually replying around midnight USA time. IMO: its a weak product and i suspect that support was aware of what the problem was ("loose memory chip") based on my description of my issues. Bang for the buck was lacking for me; 2 years (casual usage) was not enough (use) time for the money I spent : two thumbs down
