Jeke San they better hurry because the presale for huion’s new 22 plus and it’s easily better then the Wacom 22 in every way tablet wise. Wacom still has a little edge pen wise and their remote is awesome though. But the 22 plus is 500!

Sweeeet. I have a Cintiq 32 Pro however, the coufcouf hit midway through a move and messed the whole thing up pretty much, so now currently in another residence but.. I have no where to setup my Cintiq since its abit too big to just haul out whenever I feel like drawing. Thus, decided to pickup a 13inch drawing display, was going to go for the Wacom one or a Cintiq 13 pro, but.. then I heard about XP Pen an Huion's offerings. Initially skeptical, though seeing as I've now got a Kamvas 13 on the way. Glad I purchased it now with all the praise it seems to be getting.

I was about to buy either the Wacom One or the Kamvas 13 Pro, but after watching this review (and a couple of others), I decided to go with the 2020 version of the Kamvas 13 as it seems to be getting better reviews. Mine comes tomorrow and actually has the USB-C to USB-C cable in already, so they may have decided to add them as standard to the packages. Hopefully I can use it and it suits me.
Still using it, works great a lot better than I thought it would be. I even use it as a third screen too (when not using it for drawing) mainly for having a discord chat up when gaming.

i got a cintiq pro 16 and in less than a yaer it suffers of screen burns. almost every day i need to run the maintenance that comes with the drivers to eliminate some burn...
I recently purchased the Kamvas 13 Pro. I have it hooked up to my MacBook Pro. I’m having a problem with no pen pressure in Photoshop. The pen pressure works great in the driver test window but barely works at all in Photoshop. I press as hard as I can and the brush size barely changes at all. I’ve tried reinstalling the driver. I’ve tried 2 versions of photoshop, 18 and 20. I’ve tried using different USB C ports on my laptop. I’ve restarted both the tablet and laptop multiple times. I’ve made sure the app is accepted in my security preferences. I’ve tried changing the pen nib. I’ve made sure pen pressure is enabled in the photoshop brushes. I’ve tried everything I can think of. Please help! I love the accuracy and feel of the tablet but if pen pressure doesn’t work in Photoshop I will have to return it. I want to keep it, please help me!
2 questions. 1 are pens interchangable between huion batteryless graphic displays? so basicly can i use this pen also on my kamvas pro 21 with batteryfree pen. 2 can you run both the huion kamvass 13 driver/software and the kamvas 21 pro driver/software on the same laptop so i can leave my large screen at home and take with me my laptop and small screen.. or do i need to do some driver trick (windows 10)

My only wish is this would have a multifunction ring/wheel/finger swipe thingy. But at least it does have more express keys than the 13 or even 16 pro versions. But it does kind of irk me that they have those two buttons in the middle that look like they do something different than all the other buttons when in reality, they function like just like all the other buttons on the unit......marketing ploy.
You're proably gonna have to get an extension cable of some kind, found quite a few by just googling. Or buy a longer cable separately, but you'll want to be careful that it's usb c 3.1 or 3.0 because otherwise it won't have enough power.

@@johnaart They did it to sell their own USB-C cable, no mystery there. But I was able to file down the jacket of my USB-C plug until it fit. Not pretty, but it works: just make sure you get the correct spec of USB-C cable, since not all can carry power and picture data

Will this have some form of 2 finger rotation or hold one of the shortcut physical keys and rotate? So far the PC drawing tablets I've used (no screen) won't do that. While drawing on the Android tablets, on Samsung Galaxy an even on Shield Tablet does allows you to rotate the page instead of rotating the whole thing. I don't know if they all can and it's just a limitation of PC programs. I've only used Clip Studio and some free. Maybe adobe can? I wanna move to full PC. And the on tablet display will make it easier. Plus 240 is cheaper than getting a new Android tablet.

i have mine dont use it as much but it has stop working all of a sudden 2 ys kamvas pro 13 just buy wacom its more durable it will save you a lot of money it the long run.

It's only a pen display, not a iPad-esque tablet with its own CPU and storage. But I'd assume OBS would recognise it, since your computer just sees it as another connected display as it would any monitor.

Hope you can test pen tilt sensing for this one. One of their latest tablets does this wired wobbling: ruclips.net/video/GKHzXLPwnE0/видео.html Currently I still find Wacom giving the most stable tilt sensing. XPPen's latest pen displays Artist XX Pro still have tilt sensing issue when pen is near screen edges.
I have the Lenovo Ryzen 5 Flex 14" 2 in 1 with pen. It is pretty nice and makes for a really nice laptop. The pen is battery powered which I don't understand because I can draw on my screen with my finger.....so not sure why it is battery powered unless it is only for the click buttons on the pen. And since you can draw on the screen with your finger, sometimes your hand will make a drawing mark on your painting (or whatever you are working on) as you slide your hand across the screen. Not sure if the C340 is any different as in the screen only detects EMR input only. Something you may want to find out about..
@@dbreardon does the pen got tilt function? You can try it by tilt your pen when using pencil in one note. It will create shading effect if tilt available.

Huion is being impressive spec-wise but still falls with pen experience, tilt still make de cursor go away, calibration issues, and overall bad long term life in their product line, I've used the same wacom tablet (bamboo fun medium) for almost a decade and never failed, yet I always see forum posts or stuff talking about huion and general Wacom competitor issues or the tablet just stopped working. You usually don't change your wacom because it stopped working, you change it because you can afford something better, a bit more expensive but you can see yourself using it for way longer than any other competitor. Years will tell if huion is actually worth it, it still has many things to improve to get into the wacom level imo, in the meantime I'll stick with wacom or ipad haha.
I'm sorry, Lisa, but the way you present and how you sometimes hesitate to say the positive things make me feel like this is a paid review. You can't go on saying you have no pen tip customization options or that the screen is limited to 115 nits and immediately day "they finally got it right". I admit that for the price this looks really good, but it's far from perfect (even at this price range) and I still don't believe you were this happy with this product.
Pen tip customization and screen brightness were never focus points when Lisa Gade reviews these kinds of devices. Also, she's very clear about what's bad about the device.
This was a great review, I loved the video. It went into a bit more technical details than what other artist who got a review copy for free did.

The standard pigtail cable (USB-A + HDMI) are always included in the box. It's just the USB-C cable that's optional.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the driver. That might help.

Tilt works OK now, but not as good as Wacom.
I accidentally removed the anti glare screen protective film..will drawing without it damage the screen?
Not while drawing, but you'll have to be more careful to not scratch the screen in day to day use
which is harder for a phone as it goes in your pocket, but should be a lot easier with a tablet

Nope. In mandarin, the H is definitely pronounced. Everyone seems to say "Wha-whey" for Huawei, but the H should be heard.
I'm guessing then that the Kanvas Pro 22" (2019) screen (my main concern) and everything would be then just as good...

I thought it seemed like a fair review.
Pen tip customization and screen brightness were never focus points when Lisa Gade reviews these kinds of devices. Also, she's very clear about what's bad about the device.
"You have to kind of be OK with 50% brightness. " I mean seriously, did you watch the video?
You must be privileged or used to high end products of Wacom if you think this is bad lol
