      @@sophieainsworth7212 Hi! Well, Ive been using it daily and I love it! I bought it for a Webcomic series Ive been working on. So far the Kamvas 22 is everything I could hope for in a drawing monitor. I use the free software Gimp as my primary program. The screen has real tight resolution, its very well made.

      @@Userdoesnotexit I draw really small details in my art so being tight and responsive is my number one priority in a tablet. The Kamvas 22 is by far the best one Ive ever used, theres like almost no parallax. What I want to do with the drawing is what the pen does. I really recommend it dude! I use it everyday, if you want to be a Pro digital artist but have to budget for a drawing monitor. This one by far feels like the best bet for your hard earned money. I wouldnt recommend it if it wasnt that good. Im really getting a lot of great results in my drawings with it. My only concern recently is I checked the prices on them again for buying a few more for my studio, the prices seem to have gone up a bit. So thats kinda disappointing considering I think I got it at the optimum price.

      wireless charging. whole transparent glass display/body, 4k 120fps/8k 30fps.
      also hopefully adobe cloud computing service, so we can have overpowered desktop experience on the go.

    I think I'll go with this rather than the 16 Pro. Get the big screen first so I don't have to upgrade later, colors are a little better, less lag, and I've never really had good experiences with hotkeys, having to reinstall driver if they stopped working, change with app I'm using, turning it upside down because I'm a leftie, etc; just use my keyboard instead. Also the stand is continuously adjustable, not discrete. I've had a Q11k v1 for years now, still works great, haven't even had to change a nib yet. So I know the brand is solid.

    This review is great! I’m very interested in this monitor tablet and this review has helped me a lot! Also I wanted to say, I don’t know if you mess too much with the pressure curve on the tablet, but pointing the curve downwards makes it that you have to put more pressure in the pen to get a thicker line and you said something about it during the review, it was because of your curve. I always make the pressure curve go upwards because I don’t like having to apply too much pressure to get thick lines and I think that has helped me save the pen nib of my tablets, because in 4 years I’ve only changed my nib once and it was very recently. With my previous tablet I also used the same nib for almost 5 years. Just a tip that will save you nibs 😂😂

I had two XP pen Artist Pro 22r both had bad USB-C ports, slightest bump and they would disconnect, returned the second one today and ordered this ($520 on Amazon). Done about a month of research on pen tablets this seemed like the best value for money for those that want the best budget beginner pen tablet in it's price range, and for the awesome tech it offers at this point In time😊 glad I pre-ordered the 22 plus instead of the 24 and got a free extra pen! Woot!... And the 24 was almost double the price, not worth it for a begginer like me I think. Especially since it will be my first ever pen display I need something easy to use that will be a joy to use! This ticks all the boxes, and the blue light protection helps also so my eyes Don't get damaged from staring at the screen all day 👍😁 love the quantum dot tech and screen technology! Can't wait for it to arrive!!! So excited! 😄 Having a good screen will help make it easier and faster for me to improve my drawing skills... A fast computer also helps too 😋. Just got Huion Kamvas 20 (GT-191 v3 updated version not the v2) for 360 euros from Amazon recently. It doesn't have a full laminated, but it has pen tilt (60 degrees). It has an etched glass. I prefer drawing on this than on the Ipad Pro. One problem I had with the iPad pro 12.9 was that I managed to break the Apple Pencil (dropped on the floor), and replacing it meant spending another 99 euros. Simply maintaining the ipad pro for drawing (protective covers, pencil tips) over the past year was expensive. So I decided to switch to a pen display. Overall, my experience has been positive with the pen display, I prefer the larger drawing area. I didn't notice the paralex on the Huion pen display compared to my Ipad Pro. Whereas the paralex on the ipad 6th gen was more noticeable but the noise was more irritating. Drawing on Huion Kamvas 20 (GT-191 v3) display is a pleasant experience. The screen doesn't have any marks or scratches. Very happy with this purchase.

Which is not glass but transparent plastic. and yes, it scratches pretty easy. Which means a screen protector would still be needed with this pen display. Now, a matte screen protector on an already matte screen will wash out the image even more... basically why I didnt get this display in the first place. Hi Teoh, how are you? I have a question, I would appreciate any comments: Could you give me any advice or guidance on which is the best pen display to use with Revit and Autocad?
    I know that I will have a lot of visual coordination, I will also zoom in and out and sometimes I will have to zoom in on some details to find with the pencil or the pointer the centers of a circle in autocad or revit. I work as a mechanical and piping designer,
    I will use to take center connections from one pipe to another, at the same time I will use many rotations with my 3D spacemouse connection to use it with the left hand instead of using it from the tablet.

      Same here with Kavas pro 16. It was one of Huion's first full laminated displays, so it might not be as good as this one. But tilting the pen also offsets the cursor, so I have to hold the pen at a certain angle to get good accuracy - and it applies during the calibration process, too, so it takes ages to get a good calibration with pen tilt and parallax both at play.
      I still think it outclasses most screen tablet competitors, but my iPad is better. I've never used a full-laminated Wacom display or S-Pen so I can't compare those.

    I come from a Huion Kanvas 20 pro, and I must say that not all are advantages. Although it is true that the parallax on the 22 plus is lower, the feeling of robustness is also lower, it may be because the glass sheet is thinner. Also, although the QD panel has more contrast, I don't see the difference compared to the 20 pro, either can not see any kind of pure black, as we would see in the blacks of the OLED screens of our smartphones. Regarding the resolution, I must say that 1080p is too little for the 22 inches and the pixels are too noticeable, on that point the 20 pro wins, as the pixel size ratio is more adequate. I would have liked to have had the possibility of choosing 2.5k in the 22-inch format, it would have been more successful. As for the satin anti-reflective coating of the screen, it is true that on the 22 plus the visual artifacts are almost not noticeable, but the touch is perhaps a little too rough compared to the 20 pro, which slides the stilus easier. I also notice a slight noise in the plain colors, especially the grays, which the 20 pro did not have, fingers crossed that it's a matter of drivers. Finally, I have yet to notice the pen tech 3.0 difference.
    Personally, I don't think it's worth the price to upgrade from the 20 pro to the 22 plus, I honestly think I'd happily stick with my old 20 pro. And for those looking to buy, I have to say consider the 20 pro (from 2019) as a strong option over the 22 plus, considering the price difference between both.

    • @wisnuwardhana6423
      @wisnuwardhana6423 Год назад

      as far as i know, 20 pro is a dicontinue product, so its kinda rare or preorder stuff. there are some old stock on sale but cost more than 22 plus from where i live.
      1080p is actually an okay resolution, up to 24" for most ppl, even gamers. depending on the brand and the tech they use, may even looks good in 27" too. artists do looking closer at screen to draw, pixelation is inevitable. but in my experience, i never get any closer than 15-20 cm away from my 15,6 1080p display to draw. logically, if the display is larger, we have to back up even more to look at the entire canvas. meaning, we will see less pixelation.
      lastly, if 22 plus use quantum dot while 20 pro is not, not sure if the pixelation is more noticeable on 22 plus.

    • @queertales
      @queertales 4 года назад +4

      If you're doing inking with a lot of hatching and detail the higher resolution will mean less zooming to see what you're doing, so I might go for that. In the 24 pro review Teoh showed that you cold for about two A4 pages on the screen, plus a bit, wich would mean you could zoom in on the pages in the story overview in clip studio EX, and read your comic directly there in around 1:1 scale of what is would print like. That said, the price of this one is pretty tempting too.
      If you're doing black and white inking in clip studio paint, it's not that demanding. I work in 600dpi with 7*10" pages on a five year old i7 laptop with a built in gpu, and it's fine. It's a bit sluggish with the 3D charctets, but I rarely ever use them. Also things like big watercolor brushes are going to be a bit slower.

    the screen size is very good for drawing. I am drawing on my surface pro 7 at the moment and I dont like the small screen size when drawing.

    How does the laminated display compare to the 24 pro 2k Huion? I am finally looking to purchase a new tablet. I know I may lose resolution but that laminated surface may change my mind on this.

      There is absolutely no gap between the cursor and pen tip for Kamvas 22 Plus. The Kamvas Pro 24, even though it’s supposed to be a laminated display, still has a tiny gap. Maybe it’s the thickness of the glass. I don’t know

      Just as a side note, I've used the cintiq 21UX, which has a huge gap, and you actually get used to it pretty quickly, so I don't think a tiny VS no gap makes a huge difference.

    Would you recommend this over the kamvas pro 24? Also, do you think this would work well as a main monitor?

    • @teohyc
      @teohyc  4 года назад

      It will work well as main monitor. Main difference is colours and brightness (better) and resolution (lower)

    Hi Teoh, Huion with a laminated display for 22 plus, do we still need a screen protector?
