- In this tutorial, I'll be showing you step by step on how to assemble the Alex/Lagkapten desk from IKEA. This IKEA desk should take you around an hour to finish. This desk from IKEA could be a bit tricky to build so if you need some help, this video will guide you along with the instructions.

It really isn't that simple to attach the desktop. You don't really show how you do it.

Hot tip! When attaching the desktop to the drawers, do it with the tabletop lying on the ground with the drawers on top. So it’s upside down. It is MUCH easier!

The sticky pegs were trash. The white plastic over them was fused with the sticky part on two of my pegs.

What do I do, if I have an older Alex drawer set that doesn't have the predrilled holes for the tabletop? Is there an easy way to make my own without massively screwing it up?

Can you turn it around so you swap the structure and the legs
I see no reason why not. The holes are symmetrical

I’m thinking about getting one of these desks for a ps5 and I think if you would put the pc on top of the part where the draws are then I think it would be stable
