Understatement can be so versatile! With a diameter of 39 millimeters and a height of only 9.9 millimeters, the DS3X line with its unobtrusive elegance looks just as good on ladies' wrists as it does on men's. The playful contrast between the different dial hand colors and the indices covered with special white paint gives the DS30 the appearance of an enduring classic. Combined with the wide selection of colored leather straps, however, the DS3X just as quickly becomes a bold fashion statement. Speaking of enduring, the highlight of the DS3X line is once again the bead-blasted submarine steel case. This is not only distinguished by extraordinary craftsmanship, but is also of the highest amagnetic quality and corrosion resistance.
Damasko is fire. Had the Dsub50 for 2 years now and consider a dc70/2 central chrono.
I've a Dsub10 reviewed which will be released soon
Great review. I really like Damasko watches and had travelled to Leeds to part with money for one when I spotted a Sinn EZM 1.1s on the shelf next to it. This was a limited edition watch I really wanted. It was a lot more money, but I had to get it and couldn’t justify two very similar watches. I still fancy owning a Damasko, but I’m a bit of a Sinn fanboy now.
I'd fancy this one but with the yellow second hand and date myself, I have a feeling it will happen at some point LOL
Good decision 👍 I have one Damasko and that's the DSUB3. I'd collect more if they removed the damned crosshairs.
I like the cross hairs as with out it its basically a Sinn 556 🫣
Just ordered mine from First Class Watches:-) Can’t wait (shipping 3-4 weeks). I really like your videos and love your voice:-)
Your going to love it Vince and cheers matey
Nice looking field watch 😎👍
Simple, clean and tough pretty spot on really
Trying to decide on my first proper watch, from Doxa sub300t to MM300 to now I think either the 556 or the DS30 as it might be better for daily wear. Can’t make up my mind between these two!!
Yep, it’s a hard one. I went for DS30 and now thinking… I still need that 556 on bracelet 😂. Good thing is - there is no wrong choice.
I've owned 2 MM300 Evan and found them to top heavy and ending up selling both, the Doxa Sub300t doesn't do it for me either the dial is only around 28mm and the movement is a standard grade. I'd take the 556 over both of them personally ps worth checking out the Sinn U50
I've just ordered a customised DK32. These are not mass produced watches. If you want quality, in house movements and bracelets you are going to have to pay. But I'd rather give my hard earned peanuts to Damasko than Rolex or Swatch.
Its worth checking out Nomos as well Ben
They're very Sinn esque. Nearly bought one before I got my 556a
Yeah the brands have similar models which cross over in some areas PS the 556A is great watch
@@ClickSpringReview their ice hardening is definately a match for Sinn's tegimenting process too
@@philjackson3016 Hi Phil Ive check and it comes in at around 750hv matey Sinn's works out to 1200/1800hv 👍🏻
@@ClickSpringReviewdamasko is pretty much straight through the metal, sinn use surface hardening similar to Bremont. Also Damasko was and still makes cases for Sinn. Overall both great but I do find Damasko to be slightly better value for money
I've come so very close to picking one of these up so many times!! I'd probably go for the one with the lime green seconds hand, but they're all fantastic and you really can't go wrong!! I really like the matte blue dial 'Ocean' DS30 variant of this watch that comes on the black Hirsch silicone strap with blue stitching!! It must be said that Bob's watch collection just might be more impressive than yours, Click Spring!!! That Laco looks particularly fetching on him!!!😆 Thanks for another awesome review!!!
Anytime Floyd, if I was to get one I think I'd go for the yellow second hand and date model myself. I've just picked up the Dsub to review also. I'm sure Bob is going to try it on at some point soon
Hi Barry, this is right in your zone: toolish, good looking and robust. I've yet to be convinced about Damasko customer care, but the watch is great. Have a good weekend, LG Bob 🍻 🍻🍻
Ive a comparison video coming out soon Bob of this one and the 556 👍🏻
@@ClickSpringReview I'll look forward to that! Have a good weekend, LG Bob 🍻
I bought this watch with a metal bracelett at the beginning of the year, but had to sell it again after a few weeks because the QC and Impudent sale service. Damasko isn't able to Print the Dial symmetrical. Take a look at the 10 a clock marker. All the 5 Minute indices are printed off-center.
And after I told this complaint to damasko by phone and email, I was told that I was imagining it and that this is not a warranty claim.
If someone cannot recognize a crooked dial face and cannot stand up straight, I would not trust him to produce a good movement. In the end, I've sold my DK with a big loss.
Wow thats not good I have heard their customer service can be a bit hit and miss at times but thats a nightmare and really sorry to hear that.
The DS30 ETA movement lovely timepiece. The case not only bead blasted but made from submarine steel. The majority of Damasko watch cases are ice-hardened and four times harder than conventional stainless steel so rarely scratches esp as submarine steel incredibly hard. Definitely worth mentioning and on First Class Watch website. FYI.. Damasko used to make cases for Sinn.
You are right and I should mentioned it is submarine steel my bad 🤦🏻♂️
Love your reviews and enthusiasm for watch industry. Think with First Class Watches now a Damasko supplier, only 2 suppliers in UK, you're going to enjoy reviewing Damasko.. maybe not quite as much as passion for Sinn 😉 @@ClickSpringReview
I just finished of reviewing the DC56 and Dsub10 both are great the DC56 is a real star
Love it
Its a cool watch but I really like the coloured hand models more
Very interesting, but I think the hands are too thick, and the markers are too long, also a little bit too thick. Notwithstanding these small issues, great watch.
It's interesting in the comparison video I've recorded with this and the Sinn 556 as it makes the 556 hands look small. I'll release the video in the next few week
Love damasko, but I am not a fan of their bracelets. Fairly difficult to size, and I found them very uncomfortable.
which is a shame given the price of the bracelet
The Damaskos are here…..THE DAMASKOS ARE HERE!!! I’ll be watching each video several times over as you upload them- can’t wait for the DSub ones 😃😃😃😃😃 love these as an everyday watch- much more legible hands than the Sinn 556 I think but slight overkill with the minute marker size maybe? Might just be the way they come out in the video, nicer IRL?
Your going to find the DC30 vs 556 video interesting then, I'm going to be recording a DSub video tomorrow I've got the yellow hand model in 👍🏻
I cannot unsee that last 5 indice before 10 - it's way off.
The printed markers look spot on, what do you mean off ???
Hi Sir can you tell why you think they indices are off as they look prefect to me or I'm I missing something ????
As a Sinn fan I have been tempted by Damasko (costs less in the US) but bracelet prices put me off. And what I pay for a Sinn (buying in Frankfort and getting VAT refunded) makes it a wash. But it's definitely a good looker.
Yeah their bracelets are very expensive plus you don't get any micro adjustment
@@ClickSpringReviewno micro adjustment 😮
@@zosothezephead837 Yeah at that price I would expect it
