Got Rode VideoMicro from B&H Photo Video Store

- These days I stay at West 14th Street in New York City, just in two blocks from Google office and RUclips Space in New York. RUclips Space is a studio where RUclipsrs with over 10,000 subscribers may come and use it for making the videos.
Besides that, about once a month they are manage different workshops for RUclipsrs. I was lucky to get to April's workshop "Mics and Mixing". It was three hours of very useful information from professional sound guy regarding all types of microphones and mixing devices for them for all different types of video production.
For live vlogging like mine he recommended cardioid microphone like Rode VideoMic or it's budget version Rode VideoMicro Compact On-Camera Microphone for only $59.00
I've found it's advantages valuable enough and price is relatively cheap to get it and try as a main microphone instead of my clip microphone, which is good when only I talk but often meets problems when I have somebode else in frame.
To get that microphone I decided to go to legendary 'B&H Photo Video Pro Audio" Store located on a corner of 9th Avenue and West 34st Street, New York.

Lived in NYC/surrounding boroughs for 30 years. BH was always my go to place when I needed things quickly and couldn't wait on mail order. Yes, their conveyer system is amazing, they have a huge underground warehouse and the stock pickers work down there sending all the product up. By the time you've made your selection and let the salesperson know, within minutes it's getting sent up. The pay first then retrieve your goods is also unique, I've found that much more in the good old USSR.

Sergey...I've been hanging out in Amsterdam for few days now and I must say its awesome here... no never ending construction here like N.Y. nice peaceful city with its canals and thousands of bicycles. if you have EU visa then fly back to Russia thru Amsterdam ...you won't regret it.
B&H alone is worth a trip to New York City!

So no more holding up the little button mic. Now he has a big furry mike on a stick. I guess if he held that up to people, they would think it was some kind of animal.

+pilotoatomico originally tiny mic was good when I had a cameraman and was holding that in hand. Then it was easy for me move mic around. Then the time came when everybody realized that for vlogs you no really need cameraman that much. So I film myself now but always have one hand busy with holding my monopod though.
Now we can here better the man blowing his nose in restaurant. lol
In English "the day of Saturn". lol I couldn't help but notice none of them work on Saturn's day. lol Its like a holiday. "Saturn, its more then just a car", or rather it was more then just a car. Now apparently, its "just a car" that might break down on you. lol As in you know your better off with the Honda. I have jokes!!!

Just be careful. There were reports on the news last week there about thieves on bicycles there snatching both dell phones and cameras from unsuspecting pedestrians. Be aware of your surroundings.
